(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of January 23, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in London held a rally in front of the Singapore Embassy and protested the Singapore governments secret trial of six practitioners under the charge of "assembly without permit." On January 22, the case against six Singapore practitioners was on the first trial in court. The practitioners were charged for their distribution of flyers exposing the CCPs persecution of Falun Gong and supporting Chinese people to withdrawal from the CCP on October 23, 2005 on a busy street. The court refused any people to audit, including family members, friends and media. The six practitioners resisted such a secret trial and were then imprisoned for two days.
Protest in front of the Singapore Embassy in Britain |
Falun Gong practitioners handed over a protest letter to the Singapore Embassy and told the officer accepting the letter, "Singapore claims itself as a country ruled by law, but it is inconceivable that the government frames Falun Gong practitioners and attempts to hold secret trials. Falun Gong has spread to over 60 countries. To stop the CCPs brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China, practitioners in other countries hold various protests to explain the fact of the persecution. They get support and protection from local governments and police. It is a clear contrast with Singapores cooperation with the CCP to persecute Falun Gong practitioners."
