(Clearwisdom.net) To support the strong tide of seventeen million people withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the Global Service to Quit the CCP in Queensland held an activity called "The Great Wall of Courage" in Brisbane's Chinatown on the morning of January 6, 2007. Falun Gong practitioners from all over Queensland participated in the activity.
Falun Gong practitioner Bai said, "Seventeen million people have quit the CCP organizations, including the Communist Youth League and Yong Pioneers League. It is very significant because the Chinese people have been deceived by the CCP propaganda in the past fifty-six years. They don't know the truth of many things. We clarify the truth to the Chinese people and help them see clearly the evil nature of the CCP so that they will quit the party. It is essential for each individual and the future of China. The days of the CCP are numbered. We sincerely hope the Chinese people will quit the CCP organizations and chose a bright future for themselves."
Falun Gong practitioners unfolded banners on busy streets of Chinatown and exposed the persecution of Chinese people by the CCP by distributing fliers and copies of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in both Chinese and English.
Tourists from China took pictures and video of Falun Gong practitioners' activity. Some of them waved at Falun Gong practitioners and stopped to watch their activity. An elderly lady asked her daughter to stop the car. She got out to get some materials and find out more. She didn't leave until her daughter got out of the car to come and get her.
Local residents signed to support on-site investigation of live organ harvesting by the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China. A woman called Katie signed her name and said, "It is terrible! I can't believe the CCP even deprived people of their right of life." Katie thinks in order to stop the persecution, everyone should sign to support the Coalition. The Australian government should know and take actions to help stop the persecution. And all Chinese should know the tragedy in their country.
