1. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Guanrong under Severe Persecution
A "harsh division" has been set up on the fourth floor above the dining hall in the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. Any practitioner who has refused to be "transformed" is to be sent to the "harsh division" for forcible "transformation."
Practitioner Ms. Wang Guanrong from Shuangyashan City has been under severe abuse in the Women's Prison in Harbin City. She suffers from complications resulting from diabetes and cannot take care of herself. Ms. Wang is being held in the patients' ward.
2. [Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Liu Yuan Sent to Jinzhou Forced Labor Camp
At around 10:00 a.m. on November 30, 2006, Deputy Chief Liu Hanwu (male) and Yao Cheng (male) of the State Security Division of the Beizhen Police Department, He Jinglong (male) of the Goubangzi Police Department, and half a dozen other officers, broke into the Xiaoying Hair Salon operated by practitioner Ms. Yang Ying for no reason. The officers searched the place and took away a notebook computer and another piece of electronic equipment. The officers forcibly took Ms. Yang to the police department for interrogation. The officers slapped Ms. Yang because she refused to answer any questions. At around noon, the officers went back to her hair salon and took away speakers, an ink-jet printer, a USB storage device, and some Falun Dafa materials. Since Ms. Yang Ying has a baby to nurse, she was not taken into custody. Her husband, practitioner Mr. Liu Yuan, was taken to the Bangzigou Police Department and then held in the Beizhen Detention Center.
On December 1, 2006, Mr. Liu's family went to the police demanding his release, and they pointed out that it was unlawful to conduct searches and arrest him without a warrant. The police denied any wrongdoing on their part. When the family members wanted to meet with Mr. Liu, the officers placed a notice outside the detention center stating that Mr. Liu did not want to meet with anyone.
On December 4, under their strong demands, the family saw Mr. Liu.
On December 11, Mr. Liu was transferred to a long-term detention facility.
On December 14, the police sent Mr. Liu Yuan to the Jinzhou Forced Labor Camp in a rush, sentencing him to 21 months of forced labor.

On the morning of December 20, 2006, Guo Junlin (male), head of the local state security section, led three other officers to practitioner Ms. Guo Ren'ai's home in Huanan County. 5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Xiangjie Faces Unlawful Trial
Mr. Li Xiangjie, 52, started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. He went to Beijing twice to appeal for Falun Gong after July 20, 1999. He had been arrested numerous times by the local police. In the winter, he had been stripped of his clothes and left outdoors in below freezing temperatures. The police also applied high voltage from hand-cranked telephone lines to him numerous times. The officers poured cold water on him after he passed out to force him to gain consciousness, and then they applied electric shocks on him again.
On September 28, 2006, when he went out for a shipment with his three-wheeled vehicle (he was making a living by operating a mechanical tricycle after losing his job), he was arrested by officers from the Fengrun District 110 emergency response police squad. He was taken to the State Security Division and then transferred to the Fengrun District Detention Center. On December 24, Mr. Li Xiangjie will face a secret trial and sentencing.

6. [Tianjin] Supplementary Information of Numerous Practitioners Unlawfully Detained
On December 19, 2006, Yang Xiancai (male) led other officers from the Bohai Petroleum Division in Tanggu District, Tianjin in association with police from the Tanggu District Police Department, the State Security Division, the Ninth Division of Xingang Crime Investigation Task Force, and officials from the local residential committees to break into homes of numerous practitioners including Ms. Zhang Huizhen, Mr. Ding Youlin, Ms. Sun Ruihua, Mr. Zhang Wensheng, Ms. Wang Guiling, Mr. Li Guimin, Ms. Su Yanxia, Mr. Wang Junyue, Ms. Xu Meizhen, Ms. Zhang Feng and Ms. Fang Baoying. The officers searched the practitioners' homes and took the practitioners into custody. Mr. Zhang Wensheng, Ms. Xu Meizhen, Ms. Zhang Feng, and Ms. Fang Baoying were released the same night. Ms. Su Yanxia, and Mr. Wang Junyue managed to escape. Ms. Zhang Huizhen, Mr. Ding Youlin, Ms. Sun Ruihua, and Mr. Li Guimin are being held in the Zhaojiadi Detention Center in Tanggu District.

On December 3, 2006, Zhou Weixiang (male), director of the Laocheng Police Station in Suixi County, led a group of officers to practitioner Ms. Huang Siling's home. The officers forcibly took Ms. Huang and another practitioner Ms. Li Guiying, who happened to be at Ms. Huang's home, into custody. The officers also took away several Falun Dafa books. Ms. Huang Siling has been unlawfully detained for seven days, and Ms. Li Guiying has been detained for five days.

At around 10:00 p.m. on December 19, 2006, four practitioners from Donghou Village in Yaozhai town, Dong'a County were forcibly taken into custody by the town's police, who had broken into their homes. On the morning of December 20, the practitioners were sent to the county's detention center.

Around November 23, 2006, officers from the Hanji Township Police Station in Chiping County climbed over the wall and broke into the home of a practitioner with the last name Qian in Rumenli Division of Liuzhuang Village to harass him. On November 26, Qian's son was getting married and the police forced their way into practitioner Qian's home again. They were driven out by Qian's family members.

Ms. Wang Xiaojun and Ms. Yu Jinqing from Zhaoqing City remain in custody at the Gaoyao City Detention Center. Their family members went to the detention center to take them home, but authorities refused to release them. Ms. Wang's husband could not handle the stress and was taken to the Zhaoqing City No. 1 People's Hospital upon returning from the detention center.

In mid-December 2006, Ms. Lu Shufen, a practitioner from Hongtoushan Town in Qingyuan County, went to the nearby Cangshi Town to distribute truth-clarifying materials. She was arrested by the Cangshi Police Station. Ms. Lu is being held in the Qingyuan County Detention Center.
14. [Laiwu City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Qi Tingsong's Home Unlawfully Searched
Practitioner Mr. Qi Tingsong, a retired teacher at Ezhuang Mine affiliated with Xinwen Mining Bureau in Shandong Province, was relocated to his current address in October 2004. Recently, he refused to be forced to relocate again. Officials of the Ezhuang Mine coerced him to move by reporting to the authorities that he practiced Falun Gong. They called in officers from the Laicheng District Police Department and the Mazhuang Police Station as well as security guards from the mine. At 9:00 a.m. on December 20, 2006, the officers broke into Mr. Qi's home, took away his Falun Dafa books, truth-clarifying materials, and his children's notebook computer, printer, DVD burner and camera. The police took Mr. Qi Tingsong to the Mazhuang Police Station for interrogation. Since the police did not find anything that they were looking for, Mr. Qi was released. However, he has been placed under surveillance by the mine's security guards.

15. [Heilongjiang Province] Correctional and Supplementary Information on the Persecution of Practitioners Ms. Kan Xiujuan and Ms. Guan Fengxia
We hereby make the correction that the reason Ms. Guan Fengxia and Ms. Kan Xiujuan were arrested by the Longgang Crime Response Task Force in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province on December 19 and December 20, 2006 respectively was related to a production site which was sabotaged by the police.
On one occasion, when Ms. Kan Xiujuan was held in custody, eight officers from the Longgang Crime Response Task Force interrogated her. One variation of the torture was to pour spicy mustard into Ms. Kan's nostrils.
In the Daqing City Detention Center, Ms. Kan often shouted "Falun Dafa is good!" A month later, she and Ms. Guan were transferred to the Hulu Detention Center. A month after that, they were sentenced to eighteen months of forced labor. They are being held in the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City.
16. [Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province] Elderly Practitioner Ms. Yu Shufeng Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Yu Shufeng, 68, is an elderly practitioner from Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province. On March 25, 2006, she was taken into custody by the 610 Office. After eight months of unlawful detention, and without going through any legal process, she was secretly sentenced to prison at the beginning of this month. She has been sent to the Lanzhou Women's Prison.

On December 20, 2006, Ms. Feng Cuixia and Ms. Li Xinlan, both practitioners from Zhucheng City, went to Xiaozhuang Village in Huanghua Town to distribute truth-clarifying materials. The village's Party Secretary turned them in to the police, and the two practitioners were taken to the city's detention center. On December 22, Ms. Li Xinlan returned home.
Practitioner Mr. Wang Shuxin, from Wangyuan Village in Shiqiaozi Town, and practitioners Ms. Liu Meihua and Ms. Wang Ruizhen, from Dazhufupu Village in Shiqiaozi town, were both taken into custody on December 19, 2006. The four practitioners remain in custody at the detention center.
18. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Mr. Yang Chunlin and His Wife Taken into Custody
On November 15, 2006, practitioners Mr Yang Chunlin and his wife, from Aji Village in Hada Township, Fushun County, Fushun City, were taken into custody by the Hada Township Police Station. Mr. Yang has been released and returned home upon the demand of the village commissioner. It has been learned that Mr. Yang's wife has been sentenced to one year of forced labor and is being held at the Xiaobailou. The police went to their home for surveillance several times.

Ms. Zhang Xiuzhong, a practitioner from Fuping County, Baoding City, has been held in custody for a year. She has recently been sentenced to four years in prison. 20. [Heilongjiang Province] New Round of Persecution Starts in Harbin Women's Prison
Recently, each practitioner has been assigned two inmates for monitoring in the Harbin Women's Prison in Heilongjiang Province. Practitioners have been ordered to sit all day long, and they cannot walk around. Even the use of restroom time is strictly limited. Torture equipment is placed on practitioners who do the Falun Gong exercises.

On December 15, 2006, Ms. Wang Shiying, 62, Ms. Yuan Shaoju, 61, and Ms. Du Meiying, 60, all of whom are practitioners who live in the Shengli Oil Fields in Dongying, Shandong Province, were arrested by patrolling police while posting truth-clarifying materials during the night. On December 15, 2006, the police department, State Security Division, Political Security Committee, and 610 Office ordered the three directors of Radio 808 to terminate young practitioner Ms. Sun. They also ordered Ms. Sun's husband, who is not a practitioner, to be transferred away from the broadcasting and television bureau, for fear that he knows about the technology to intercept TV or radio frequencies.

23. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Supplementary Information on the Detention of Practitioners Ms. Du Shuhui and Ms. Wang Caifeng
On December 11, 2006, practitioners Ms. Du Shuhui and Ms. Wang Caifeng from Mian County went to the countryside to distribute materials and clarify the truth. Informants in the Hong'er Group in Zhenchuan Township turned them in to the police. Wang Xue (male), director of the Zhenchuan Police Station immediately reported to the county's police department. Yang Zhiqiang (male), director of the county police department, led a group of officers to the township, including deputy director Wang Weibin (male), Head of State Security Division Zhao Xue (male), Party Secretary of the county's Political Security Committee, and Head of the Organization Department. The officials took turns interrogating the two practitioners for 48 hours and then sent them to the Mian County Detention Center.
Since July 20, 1999, the Mian County State Security Division have fabricated various excuses to send 19 practitioners to forced labor camps. One practitioner was persecuted to death, three were forced to divorce, and three elderly gentlemen died from pressure, grief, and terror because their children were abused.

Li Kejing (male), head of the Security Section of Feiyun Medicine Factory in Huangshi City, Hubei Province, sent practitioner Ms. Zhang Zelan to one year of forced labor in 2001 after she went to Beijing to validate the Fa. In late 2006, Ms. Zhang, 57, who has retired from the factory, was sent by Li to the labor camp for two years of forced labor on charges of distributing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
25. [Hebi City, Henan Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Baohua Unlawfully Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
From 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on December 5, 2006, the Shancheng District Court in Hebi City held a secret trial in the city's detention center against practitioner Ms. Wang Baohua, who is 52 years old.
Ms. Wang was arrested after she was reported to the police for printing and distributing truth-clarifying leaflets. On June 27, 2006, officers from the 610 Office and police department unlawfully searched her home. They found truth-clarifying materials, including the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the "Minghui Weekly". They also found a computer and printer. Ms. Wang Baohua was immediately taken into custody and sent to the detention center.
In over five months, from her arrest to the secret trial, Ms. Wang underwent severe torture. Both her legs have been crippled. On the day of trial, she was carried by her arms to the court room. She has been sentenced to three years in prison.

26. [Sichuan Province] Brainwashing Sessions Held in Leshan City
A brainwashing center was set up in the former Dashiqiao Elementary School southeast to the Lingyun Temple housing the "Immense Buddha" in Leshan. The school had been closed down. The 610 Office took over, erected tall walls, and installed steel gates to hold practitioners in custody there.
