Dear Mr. Wen,
While you are attending the Hamburg China-Europe Summit today, we, German Falun Gong practitioners, would like to particularly urge you to make a wise and timely decision on the Falun Gong issue: Seriously penalize the primary culprits in the persecution of Falun Gong, so as to put an end to this most evil persecution in human history as soon as possible.
Since Jiang Zemin launched the bloody persecution against Falun Gong in 1999, the Chinese Communist Party has employed its state controlled machinery to conduct an all-out campaign against innocent Falun Gong practitioners, including the use of genocide, arbitrary detention, forced labor, brutal abuse, brainwashing, cruel torture, and murder. What’s even worse is harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Since the Chinese Communist regime started to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999, tens of thousands of practitioners have been incarcerated illegally in forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals, and military institutions, where their organs have been harvested for huge profits while they are still alive.
On July the 6th this year, Canadians David Kilgour, former Canadian Secretary of State (Asia Pacific) and former Chairman of the Canadian Parliament’s Human Rights Committee, and David Matas, an international human rights lawyer, jointly issued an investigation report about the allegation of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China. The report indicates that the origin of 45,000 organ transplant cases performed between 2001 and 2005 cannot be explained. "This is the evilest thing in human history," said David Kilgour at a press conference on July 14.
The Chinese Communist regime’s ongoing persecution against Falun Gong has been strongly condemned by the international community. Vice President of the European Parliament Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott publicly declared his membership in the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) on August the 26th, when he participated in a rally in Hong Kong supporting the 13 million Chinese people that have quit the Chinese Communist party and its affiliated organizations. He published a joint statement with members of the legislative council in Hong Kong, including Hon Chun-yan, calling on lawyers around the world to protest to their local Chinese Embassies and Consulates regarding the recent secret arrest and torture of renowned human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng, and to urge the Chinese authorities to immediately release Mr. Gao.
On September 7, the European Parliament unanimously passed a resolution for a report of the EU-China relations summit, calling on the Chinese regime to release Falun Gong practitioner Bu Dongwei, lawyer Gao Zhisheng, and other human rights defenders.
As an old Chinese saying puts it, "A guilty conscience needs no accuser." The Chinese Communist Party’s elimination by heaven will soon become a reality.
He who knows the situation is a wise man. Mr. Wen, we hope that at this historic juncture, you are courageous enough to make a wise decision to seriously penalize Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, and Zhou Yongkang, the prime culprits in the persecution of Falun Gong.
