1. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia AR] Practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaodong in Critical Condition from Persecution
Practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaodong from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia AR, was illegally arrested in late January, 2005. A month later, he escaped using righteous thoughts and went into hiding. Several months later, the police from Liaoning Province arrested him and sent him back to Chifeng City. He is currently imprisoned at Wuyuan City, Inner Mongolia AR. Mr. Wang Xiaodong has been on hunger strike for over 80 days and is at the critical condition from persecution.
2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia AR] Practitioner Mr. Feng Wanchun Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Feng Wanchun was arrested at work by the police from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia AR with assistance from the managers of his work unit, and taken to the Chifeng City brainwashing center on August 29, 2006
3. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Gao Weiling Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Gao Weiling from the Shunyi District of Beijing was arrested by the Shunyi District National Security Brigade on August 31, 2006. Her home was ransacked afterwards.
4. [Beijing] Retired Military Doctor Ren Yunhua Arrested
Former military doctor Ms. Ren Yuhua, in her 60s, was retired from a research institute of the Communication Department at the General Staff Department of the People’s Liberation Army. She was arrested and detained for a day by the police from Wanshou Road Police Station, Beijing, when she was distributing the truth-clarification materials on Cuiwei Road in the Haidian District of Beijing in mid July 2006. The police and the military’s 610 Office officials put her under house arrest.
5. [Beijing] Practitioners Forced to Have Blood Tested
When practitioners were taken to the Tuanhe Dispatching Office in Beijing, they were strip-searched and forced to stay in a squatting position with their heads close to their knees and hands crossed over their heads for a day. They were not allowed to sleep at night. Two days later, there were forced to undergo a blood test.

8. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Ms. Ms. Cao Qingmei, Wei Chunlan, and Ms. Meng Xiangchun Arrested
At around 8:30 p.m. on August 31, 2006, practitioners Ms. Cao Qingmei, Ms. Wei Chunlan and Ms. Meng Xiangchun from Shanhoubancheng Village, Zhaogezhuang Township, Laishui County, Hebei Province, were arrested when they were distributing the truth-clarification materials. The police confiscated all their truth-clarification materials and their tricycle. Their homes were ransacked simultaneously at 2:00 p.m. the next day. They are currently detained in Laishui County Detention Center.
9. [Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Mr. Xu Jingyang and Mr. Lin Baocai Arrested
Practitioners Mr. Xu Jingyang and Mr. Lin Baocai from Donghai Township, Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province, were reported to the police. The police from the Donghai Township Police Station arrested them in August, 2006. They are currently detained at Jidong County Detention Center.

11. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Gao Wenlan Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Gao Wenlan from Tonghua City, Jilin Province, was reported to the gold factory police station and then arrested when distributing the truth-clarification materials at the gold factory at 2:00 p.m. on August 30, 2006. The Tonghua City National Security Team ransacked her home at 4:00 p.m. the same day and confiscated Teacher’s picture, Dafa book,s and truth-clarification materials. Ms. Gao was sent to the Changliu Detention Center, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, that night.
12. [Tianjin City] Practitioner Ms. Wang Xuejun Imprisoned
Practitioner Ms. Wang Xuejun from Yangjinzhuang Township, Ji County, Tianjin City, was arrested by officers from the township police station at the market on August 4, 2006. She is currently detained at Ji County Detention Center.

14. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Ms. Lin Zhenqing, Mr. Zhan Zhenhai, and Mr. Liu Zhensong Illegally Sent to Forced Labor Camp
The Qixia City 610 Office and the legal system of Shandong Province "illegally sentenced" practitioners Ms. Lin Zhenqing, Mr. Zhan Zhenhai and Mr. Liu Zhensong to one year of forced labor each on July 13, 2006.
15. [Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province] Zhongshan City National Security Team, 610 Officials, and the Police from Guangdong Province Arrested Practitioner Mr. Huang Peihe at His Home on August 2, 2006
16. [Xintai City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Mr. Wu Xinxi and Others Arrested by the 610 Office
The Xintai City 610 Office and the police from the Xinkuang Enterprise Group arrested five practitioners, including Mr. Wu Xinxi, Ms. Jiangli, and Mr. Liu Qiang. Practitioner Ms. Li was forced to leave her home to avoid being arrested. One truth-clarification materials production center was damaged. The five practitioners’ homes were all ransacked. They are currently detained and being persecuted at Xintai City Detention Center.
17. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhu Guizhen Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Zhu Guizhen, 66, from Malunyu Town, Zunhua City, Hebei Province, was arrested by the police from the Malunyu Town Police Station when distributing truth-clarification materials. She is currently detained at the Zunhua City Detention Center.

18. [Emeishan City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Mr. Cai Lianhong Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Cai Lianhong from Emeishan City was tipped-off to the Binhe Road Police Station in Emeishan City. He arrested when clarifying the truth in early August, 2006. He is still illegally imprisoned.
19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Hao Disappeared
Practitioner Mr. Wang Hao from Wuhan City, Hubei Province, was imprisoned and tortured at Hewan Forced Labor Camp in Wuhan City for over a year. His whereabouts are unknown.
20. [Shangshui County, Henan Province] Practitioners Ms. Chen Fenglan and Others Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Chen Fenglan, Ms. Wang Lan ,and Ms. Xian Jing from Shangshui County were reported to Zhangzhuang Township Police Station, Shangshui County, and arrested when they were distributing truth-clarification materials at Zhangpo Village, Zhangzhuang Township, on October 21, 2004. They were transferred to Zhoukou City Detention City in Henan Province a week later. Ms. Chen Fenglan was sentenced to five years in prison and Ms. Wang Lan and Ms. Xiao Jing to three years each. They are imprisoned and forced to work at the Xinxiang City Women’s Prison ub Henan Province.
21. [Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province] Practitioners Mr. He Qiang and Others Arrested
From early February to mid March 2006, several practitioners from Qingyuan City were arrested, including Mr. He Qiang, Ms. He Yanping, Ms. Tan Huizhen, Ms. Axia, Mr. Lin Zai, Mr. Aren, and Aunty Wu. They are imprisoned at the Qingyuan City Detention Center. The Qingyuan City Court planned to hold an illegal trial for these practitioners Monday afternoon, September 4, 2006.

The book Classroom Exercises for Political Education for seventh graders, edited by the Huanggang City Institute of Education, Hubei Province, contains exercises defaming Dafa on pages 33 and 36. The chief editor for this book is the Party Secretary of the Huanggang City Institute of Education and Senior Political Instructor and Researcher, Li Xiaoqi.

24. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Ni Yanping Tortured
Practitioner Ms. Ni Yanping, 45, an employee of the Jilin City Public Transportation Company, Jilin Province, was laid off by her company for going to Beijing to validate Dafa in 2000. She went to visit her sister, Ms. Ni Yanchun, at Jilin City on August 24, 2006. When she was clarifying the truth of Dafa at the Tianci Senior Home, she was reported to the police by director Cao Shiliang of the Tianci Senior Home. The police from Dadong Police Station, Jilin City, arrested her. Ms. Ni Yanping is currently imprisoned at the Jilin City Detention Center.

25. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Xin Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Li Xin from Anyang City was arrested at a practitioner’s home in Luoyang City, Henan Province, by the Anyang City police. Her Dafa books, computers, and over 30 thousand yuan in cash were taken away. Her whereabouts are unclear.

28. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Ms. Zhou Yumin and Ms. Zhou Yuling Persecuted
Practitioner sisters Ms. Zhou Yumin and Ms. Zhou Yuling were arrested in May and July, 2006, respectively. Party secretary of the Political and Legal Committee Yu Chunming pressured the responsible offices to sentence the illegally imprisoned practitioners.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Guifu from Inner Mongolia AR was arrested by the police from Mingde South Police Station in Zhangjiakou City, Inner Mongolia AR. She is currently imprisoned in Shisanli Detention Center, Zhangjiakou City.

32. [Huidong County, Guangdong Province] Practitioners Ms. Zhang Xinmei and Others Arrested
On the evening of August 17, 2006, the police from Huidong County arrested practitioners Ms. Zhang Xinmei, Ms. Luo Yueying, and Ms. Li Xiumei. They are currently imprisoned in the Danshui District, Huiyang City, Guangdong Province.
33. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Liu Guirong Under Surveillance
Practitioner Mr. Liu Guirong, an employee at the Beidaihe District Garden Hotel in Qinhuangdao City, was arrested by the Beidaihe District National Security Team on August 18, 2006. His home and office were ransacked. He has now returned to work but is under surveillance.
34. [Beijing] Senior Practitioner Mr. Rui Qinghua Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Rui Qinghua, in his 60s, was arrested in the Heidian District of Beijing when distributing Dafa truth-clarification materials on August 25, 2006. He is currently imprisoned at the Haidian District Detention Center.
35. [Shanghai] The Xuhui District Police Department Illegally Arrested Practitioner Mr. Guo Jinfu on July 6, 2006
36. [Tianjin City] Practitioners Ms. Tan Hongjun and Mr. Zhou Lan Illegally Imprisoned and Tortured
Practitioner Ms. Tan Hongjun, who is imprisoned at the Fengnian Village Detention Center in the Dongli District ofTianjin City, has been on a hunger strike for over a month. Because she refused to be interrogated and force-fed during the hunger strike, she was beaten, handcuffed and shackled, and subjected to other tortures including the tiger bench. Mr. Zhou Lan, who was also tortured there, now has high blood pressure, heart problems, and water retention in his face and legs.
37. [Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhu Hongyan Arrested by the Shiqiao City Police Department, Liaoning Province
Practitioner Ms. Zhu Hongyan was reported to the police by members of the Shiqiao City "Joint Defense Team" of Liaoning Province when she was posting truth-clarification materials. The police from Shiqiao City Police Department arrested her between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. on September 1, 2006. She is currently in a detention center.
38. [Beijing] Practitioner Mr. Liu Jinhua Arrested
One day in March, 2006, the Residential Committee and police claiming to check the water gauge, burst into practitioner Mr. Liu Jinhua’s home. They illegally ransacked his home and arrested him. He is currently imprisoned at the Fengtai Couty Detention Center, Beijing.
39. [Beijing] Practitioner Mr. Liu Zhendong Was Transferred from the Beijing Number Two Detention Center to the Qinghe Detention Center for Continuous Persecution on July 14, 2006

When eight practitioners visited Ms. Zhang Zhifen’s home in Sanyi in the Pengzhou District of Chengdu City, they were arrested by Mengyang 610 Office agents and police from Chengdu City on the morning of August 28, 2006.

On August 16, 2006, practitioner Mr. Qiao Sihuang from Nanyang City was arrested for clarifying the truth and then sent to the Nanyang City Number Two Detention Center.

Practitioners Ms. Xiao Hui and Mr. Li Hongwei from Runan County were arrested in late August, 2006. Their computers and printers at the truth-clarification materials production center were all taken away. Now they are imprisoned in Runan County Detention Center.
44. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioners Ms. Liang Xiangjiao and Her Daughters Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Liang Xiangjiao and her daughters were reported to the police and then arrested when posting truth-clarification materials on the evening of July 21, 2006.
45. [Tianjin City] Practitioner Ms. Chen Shuliang Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Chen Shuliang, an employee at the Number One Hospital Attached to the Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was arrested by the police when distributing truth-clarification materials at the Tianjin television broadcasting tower in July 2006. Her whereabouts are not clear.
