1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Minghui Suffered a Mental Collapse Due to Torture
Mr. Zhao Minghui, a practitioner from Xinmin, Shenyang City, is 36 years old. He's a railroad engineer from Shenyang South Station. In the winter of 2002 he was taken by his supervisor Gao Shengyu to the Huishan Mental Health Hospital in Shenyang City. At the hospital, Mr. Zhao Minghui was injected with unknown medication, and has since been muddle-headed.
2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Nineteen Practitioners Illegally Arrested
At around 4:00 p.m. on August 10, 2006, nineteen practitioners were leaving an experience-sharing meeting when police officers from the Dongli Public Security Sub-Bureau and Haxi Police Station, who had been waiting in the courtyard for the practitioners, arrested them. They are currently being held at the Nangang Public Security Sub-Bureau in Harbin City.
3. [Wulumuqi City, Xinjiang] Mr. Yan Weihong is on a Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution
On February 17, 2006, Mr. Yan Weihong was arrested. In August 2006, he was sentenced to four years. He is currently incarcerated at the No. 5 Prison in the city of Wulumuqi.
4. [Lishu County, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Chunfang Illegally Arrested
At about 3:00 a.m. on July 30, 2006, Ms. Wang Chunfang, who resides in Guojiadian Town, Lishu County, Jilin Province, was arrested by police officers from the Guojiadian Town Police Station while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. The police broke into her home and conducted a search, confiscating her Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials, including copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Ms. Wang Chunfang is currently detained at Lishu Detention Center.
Officers of the Guojiadian Police Substation arrested Ms. Wang Chunfang twice in 2000, and they extorted 1700 yuan from her.
5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yunxia Locked Up in a Small Cell
In September 2005, Ms. Wang Yunxia, a practitioner from Jining City, was arrested by the Tai'an police. She is currently illegally incarcerated at the Jinan Women's Labor Camp. The police have intensified their persecution of Ms. Wang Yunxia by keeping her in a small isolation cell.

7. [Shanghai City] Mr. Hou Bo Illegally Sentenced
In May 2005, Mr. Hou Bo, a practitioner from Anting Town, Jiading District, Shanghai City, was arrested by the officers of the Jiading District National Security Team and detained at the Jiading Detention Center. In April 2006, the Jiading Court sentenced Mr. Hou Bo to three years. Mr. Hou Bo is currently incarcerated at the Tilanqiao Prison in Shanghai.

8. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] The Jinniu District Court Tried Mr. Jiang Guangqian at 2:30 p.m. on August 10, 2006
9. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Pan Li Arrested
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Pan Li from Jiamusi City was followed while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. On August 9, 2006, officers of the Nanwei Police Station of the Dongfeng Public Security Sub-Bureau arrested her. The police illegally searched her home, and she is currently being held at the Jiamusi City Detention Center.
10. [Botou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fang Yuan and Li Yuzhi Arrested
The officers of the Hedong Police Station arrested Botou City practitioner Ms. Fang Yuan three years ago. She was incarcerated at the Nanpi County Detention Center. Recently, Ms. Fang Yuan was taken to the Tangshan Labor Camp.
Practitioner Ms. Li Yuzhi of Botou City was arrested by the officers of the Liuzhuang Police Station on the evening of July 19, 2006 for distributing truth-clarifying materials. She is being held at the Botou City Detention Center.

11. [Fangchenggang City, Guangxi Province] Practitioners Ms. Liu Chaoyan and Ms. Chen Guilian Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Chen Guilian and Ms. Liu Chaoyan were employees of the Fangchenggang City Port Office in Guangxi Province. They have been arrested many times and taken to the detention center, where they have been persecuted. In 2000, they were sentenced to forced labor for two years because they went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa. In July 2002, Ms. Chen Guilian was sentenced for the second time to three years of forced labor. At the end of September 2001, one month after her release from the labor camp, Ms. Liu Chaoyan was again arrested and taken to a brainwashing class. She was later sentenced to three years of forced labor.
On July 21, 2006, Ms. Chen Guilian and Ms. Liu Chaoyan were once again arrested, and their current whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Xiulian and Ms. Qiao Yulan Illegally Imprisoned
Ms. Chen Xiulian (50 years old) and Ms. Qiao Yulan (65 years old) are practitioners from Liangshan County, Jining City, Shandong Province. They were reported to the police for clarifying the truth. On the morning of August 3, 2006, officers of the North District Police Substation of the County arrested them. They are currently incarcerated at the detention center, where they are being persecuted.

13. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xiao Huandi Arrested
Ms. Xiao Huandi, a practitioner from Beizhu Village, Boye County, Baoding City, Hebei Province was arrested by several police officers from Boye County. She is currently being illegally detained and persecuted at a brainwashing class at the Little White Building in Baoding City.

15. [Beijing City] More Than Seven Hundred Dafa Practitioners Illegally Incarcerated at the Tiantanghe Women's Labor Camp
There are about seven hundred practitioners incarcerated in six of the eight teams at the Tiantanghe Women's Labor Camp. The guards use criminal prisoners to watch the practitioners and persecute them. Every day, they force the practitioners to watch DVDs that defame Dafa. The guards physically abuse the practitioners, and won't let them sleep or use the washroom. They prohibit practitioners from moving for long periods of time, forcing them to sit on a stool for so long that they develop lesions and their skin decays.
16. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Xiliang Illegally Imprisoned
In 2000, Mr. Zhao Xiliang was illegally sentenced to three years after being detained for eight months for clarifying the truth. At the beginning of August 2006, Wang Fucai of the County 610 Office and Dai Chunjie deceived Mr. Zhao Xiliang, who had just come home from work, into going to the Public Security Bureau, where they forcefully detained him. His wife and two nieces went to the Public Security Bureau to look for him, and as a result his two nieces were beaten by police and detained.
17. [Nahe City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Including Mr. Liu Hairong and Ms. Sun Shuxia Arrested
At the beginning of August 2006, practitioners Mr. Liu Hairong and Ms. Sun Shuxia from Laha Town, Nahe City, Heilongjiang Province went to Tongyi Village to distribute truth-clarifying materials and were arrested. At the same time, three practitioners from Tongyi Village were also arrested. They are all currently being held at Nahe Detention Center.

18. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zheng Rongchang Arrested
At around 6:00 a.m. on August 11, 2006, officers of the Li County Public Security Bureau of Baoding City, Hebei Province arrested a practitioner named Mr. Zheng Rongchang. They also confiscated his Dafa books.
19. [Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Yingxia Arrested
Officers of the Zhongqu Public Security Bureau of Guangyuan City forcefully arrested Ms. Wang Yingxia, an employee of Yongxing Electronics Company Limited in Sichuan Province.
20. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tang Yunxia Illegally Detained at the Xinjin Brainwashing Class
Officers from the Xinhua Road Police Substation in Chengdu City arrested Ms. Tang Yunxia on June 26, 2006. She was detained at the Chengdu City Detention Center before the authorities from the Pengzhou 610 Office transferred her to the Xinjin Brainwashing Class for more illegal detention on July 21.
21. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Persecution of 72-Year-Old Practitioner Mr. Wang Huazhang Continues
Mr. Wang Huazhang, a 72-year-old practitioner from Jianyang City, was arrested and taken to Deyang Prison in Sichuan Province where he was forced to undergo brainwashing and be persecuted. Soon after his released, the authorities at the Jianyang 610 Office intended to send Mr. Wang Huazhang to the Ziyang City Brainwashing Class for more persecution.
22. [Liling City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yang Yanhua's Illegal Prison Term Extended
Liling City practitioner Ms. Yang Yanhua was imprisoned in Changsha City for one and a half years. Her term was over in May 2006 but because she refused to write the three statements, her term was extended for another year and a half.
23. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Xinyan Arrested
Ms. Wang Xinyan, a practitioner from Mingyuedian Town, Dingzhou City, was reported by a woman while she was clarifying the truth on August 11 at Goulicun Market. As a result, she was arrested. On the same day, the police went to Ms. Wang's home and performed an illegal search. They confiscated all the Dafa books and Master's new articles.
24. [Pingyuan County, Shandong Province] 610 Officers Arrested Several Practitioners, Including Mr. Su Jingjun
On August 1, 2006, police officers from the Pingyuan 610 Office arrested Mr. Su Jingjun. On August 7 and 8, 610 Officers arrested Ms. Li Xiaoxia, Ms. Qin Lanxiang, and Ms. Geng Fengzhen.

On July 20, 2006, practitioners Mr. Liu Jiahua and Ms. Dan Xiude were condemned at a public condemnation meeting and persecuted by Shifang.
26. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Yuan Ling and Ms. Sun Zhaolan Arrested
On July 2, 2006, officers of the Jinshanqiao Police Substation and the 610 Office in Xuzhou City arrested practitioners Ms. Yuan Ling and Ms. Sun Zhaolan. Dafa materials, cell phones, Xiaolingtong pagers and a newly-bought computer were confiscated.
