(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday August 26th, UK Falun Gong practitioners held a march through central London, to help the public know about Falun Gong and the persecution that has been waged against the practice for the last seven years.

The march began at the Chinese Embassy, where Falun Gong practitioners have protested 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for over 4 years. The march moved down Regent Street and finished in Chinatown. A megaphone was used to let people know the purpose of the march: To call for an end to the Chinese Communist Party¡¦s (CCP) human rights abuses against Falun Gong.

Practitioners carried banners that exposed some of the CCP¡¦s persecution crimes against Falun Gong. A particular focus of the parade was to tell people about how the CCP harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and sells them to transplant seekers for vast profits. The victims¡¦ bodies are then cremated to hide the evidence. Thousands of practitioners are believed to have died this way.

A recent report authored by former Canadian Secretary of State (Asia Pacific) David Kilgour and Canadian human rights lawyer David Matas confirms the allegations that the horrifying organ harvesting abuses are occurring on a large scale against Falun Gong practitioners in China. The report called these abuses "a grotesque form of evil which, despite all the depravations humanity has seen, would be new to this planet."

Many people read the Falun Gong leaflets enthusiastically and found out more about the CCP¡¦s organ harvesting crimes

Practitioners handed out a 16-page newspaper that reports in depth on the CCP¡¦s organ harvesting, as well as the reasons behind the persecution of Falun Gong. The newspaper also provided people with details on the practice of Falun Gong, which consists of five sets of peaceful meditative exercises and the improvement of one¡¦s morality through living by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance.

As well as the newspapers, leaflets were handed out in both Chinese and English. Many people asked practitioners for more information or expressed their concern about the human rights atrocities.

After the march, smaller activities were held in several central London locations. Practitioners set up pavement poster displays so that people could learn more about Falun Gong and the persecution. Many people spent a long time looking at the posters and also watched demonstrations of the Falun Gong exercises. Petition signatures were collected, as many people wanted to voice their opposition to the CCP abuses and do their bit to help end the suffering of Falun Gong practitioners.
