Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Zhiqiang was arrested in 2003 because he practices Dafa. He was sentenced to three and a half years in prison and has been detained in Qinduankou Prison, Hubei Province. During this period, he has been tortured in a "small cell" several times. He should have been released on August 3, 2006; however, when his family members went to pick him up, the prison officer refused to release him.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Xiuzhi is continuously forced to go through brainwashing sessions at her workplace, the Qingdao City Ocean Science and Technology Museum. Ms. Liu has been on a hunger strike for nearly a month and she is very weak. She is at home now and refuses to go to her workplace to be brainwashed. Her father is nearly seventy years old and needs to be taken care of. However, the CCP leader of the Qingdao City Ocean Science and Technology Museum Zhang Shi, Director of the museum Qi Jiguang, and deputy director Wang Baokui still go to Ms. Liu Xiuzhi's parents' house to harass her. They forced her parents try to persuade her to give up her belief.

Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Huang Feiyan and Ms. Huang Xiumei are residents of Fulian Village, Sitang Town in Youjiang District, Baise City. They were arrested at their homes by policemen and 610 Office members on June 6, 2006. Their homes were ransacked. These two practitioners were taken to a police station of the Tianyang County Police Department and were not allowed to sleep. Three days later, two practitioners escaped with righteous thoughts and were forced to leave their homes to avoid being arrested. The 610 Office members went to the practitioners' houses many times to arrest their husbands, so their husbands were forced to leave home and could not come back either. (Both Ms. Huang Feiyan's husband Mr. Huang Biyun and Ms. Huang Xiumei's husband Mr. Huang Deli are Falun Dafa practitioners).
4. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] No Further Information about Mr. Li Dejun and His Wife Ms. Liu Shuying After Sentencing
Recently, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Shuying, a resident of Dachang County, Langfang City, was sentenced to twelve years in prison. Her husband, practitioner Mr. Li Dejun, was sentenced to nine years in prison. Only two children (under 18) and an 80-year-old grandmother are left in the house.
5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tang Yunxia Transferred to Pengzhou Detention Center
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tang Yunxia has been on a hunger strike for over thirty days in Chengdu City. Policemen tricked her family members into signing the paperwork of releasing upon bail and awaiting trial but did not do as they promised. Ms. Tang Yunxia was transferred to the Pengzhou City Detention Center and subjected to persecution.

Since July 25, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Niu Shilan has been on a hunger strike to protest being arrested and detained. The hunger strike has gone on for 11 days so far. Her husband, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Sang Xueli, was arrested at Dong'e County Detention Center. On July 27, 2006, three practitioners who wanted to rescue the couple were arrested at Gaoji Township, Dong'e County. Among them, one practitioner escaped with righteous thoughts and the other two female practitioners have been detained at Dong'e County Detention Center.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Dongzhi, over 50 years old, is a retired worker of the East Suburban Department Store in Changde City. On July 19, 2006, Ms. Li Dongzhi was arrested and taken to the Zhuzhou City Baimalong Labor Camp. When she had a physical exam at a hospital in Zhuzhou City, she was diagnosed with three serious diseases. Thus the labor camp refused to accept her. At present, Ms. Li Dongzhi is still detained at Baiheshan Second Detention Center in Changde City.

A Falun Dafa practitioner went to visit Emei Mountain from July 27 to July 28, 2006. At the Golden Summit her belongings were searched and she was arrested because policemen from Emeishan Station found some truth-clarification materials. The practitioner said her name was Wang Li. At present, she is still detained at the Emei Mountain Detention Center.

Recently, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chang Jianzhen from Changsha City was sentenced to 15 months of forced labor. Currently she is detained at Baimalong Women's Labor Camp. Practitioner Mr. Huang Yonghui was also sentenced to forced labor.

In July 2006, officers of the Education Office of Quangou Town, Xintai City, ordered by the chief Sun Faqu, required all practitioners who previously practiced Falun Gong to attend a meeting. These practitioners were required to fill out a form and make a statement as to whether they were practicing or not. Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Xueqin is over 60 years old. On June 15, 2006, when she went to Northwest First Cotton Factory to deliver truth-clarification materials, she was arrested by 610 Office members and policemen when the agent of the factory security department found her.
16. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wang Jiangmei Transfered to Lingyun Hotel
At 11:00 p.m. on July 7, 2006, about six policemen from the Security Section 610 Office of Baoji City Railway Police Department, went to Ms. Wang Jiangmei's house. The family was harassed. Her family members were threatened. At 11: 00 a.m. on the second day, Ms. Wang Jiangmei was arrested at home.
After she was arrested, she was transferred to the railway detention center. Later, she was transferred to the local 610 Office, Baoji City Jinger Road Police Station, Baoji City Weibin Detention Center and tortured at these places. On July 31, 2006, Ms. Wang Jiangmei was transfered to Lingyun Hotel again by guards of Weibin Detention Center and was subjected to constant brainwashing and torture.

17. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Demei Coerced and Detained
On the night of August 2, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Demei, a resident of Yuhe Town, Weifang City, ran into a police vehicle when she was on her way back home after having been out to clarify the truth. She was arrested by policemen from Yuhe Town Station. Her house was ransacked, and she is now detained.
In addition, on the afternoon of August 3, 2006, over 20 policemen from Yuhe Town Station wanted to arrest Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yu Rong from Yuhe Town. Now there are policemen following, watching, and harassing Mr. Yu Rong's family members.
18. [Huangping County, Guizhou Province] Persecution Suffered by Ms. Shi Xingyu
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shi Xingyu was reported when she was delivering truth-clarification materials on February 19, 2002. During the night, policemen including Long Jinfu (male) from Huangping County Department in Qiandongnan Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, broke into her, her mother's, and her brother's house. They confiscated their TVs, DVDs, all of their books (including Dafa books), ID's, and some cash. Ms. Shi Xingyu was detained for 15 days. Five days later, helped with the righteous thoughts of fellow practitioners, she came back home on June 24, 2006.
On October 30, 2002, Ms. Shi Xingyu was arrested again when she was delivering truth-clarification materials. At that time, she was arrested and taken to Jiuzhou Town Police Station by two policemen Liao Yinggang (male) and Chen Yong (male). At 8:00 p.m. she left the police station with righteous thoughts.
In the afternoon of January 21, 2003, when she was at the factory she works, she was forced into a police vehicle by three policemen including Long Jinfu. She was then taken to Guizhou Province Women's Labor Camp in Guiyang City, serving three years of forced labor.

19. [Tianyang County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region] Many Practitioners Tortured by Tianyang County 610 Office
On January 25, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Lu Ganxue, Mr. Huang Zuxue, Ms. Huang Huidong and another female practitioner from Wuming County were arrested by policemen from the 610 Office at Napo Town, Tianyang County. Later, the female practitioner from Wuming County escaped with righteous thoughts. She still was wearing handcuffs when she left. There is no further information about her. Another three practitioners were arrested at Tianyang County Detention Center. In May 2006, they were transferred to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region First Labor Camp and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Women's Labor Camp.
In February 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Huang Ziyan was arrested by 610 Office members at her house. She was detained and tortured at Tianyang County Detention Center.
On May 15, 2006, another practitioner from Tianyang County, Ms. Luo Guixiang, was arrested by 610 Office members. She was detained at Tianyang County Detention Center. At present, Ms. Huang Ziyan and Ms. Luo Guixiang are being detained and tortured at Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Women's Labor Camp.

Agents from Haidian District ordered policemen from police stations affiliated with the 610 Office to check the status of each person who has practiced Falun Gong around May 1, 2006. On July 15, 2006, policemen from Haidian District Police Department and Wenquan Police Station went to some practitioners' houses in Huanshan Village, Haidian District, 6-8 officers at a time. After Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Tian was arrested in Nanle County on April 26, 2006, another practitioner from the same village, Ms. Jiang Minghua, was arrested by Political Security Section members Jiao Wenxiang (male, cell phone number, 86-13603435828), Li Guoqiang (male) and others. Later, Ms. Jiang Minghua was taken away by policemen from the Puyang City Police Department. On the morning of August 2, 2006, Li Guoqiang and others ransacked Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Aiqi's house at Xiaokang Village, Nanle County. The practitioner was taken to Fan County, Henan Province.

Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Liu Dongmei and Mr. Shang Yongjie went to a practitioner's house in Xihaitou Village, Jiaoliu Island in Wafangdian City on July 25, 2006. They clarified the truth to residents of the village. At 5 a.m on the second day, they wanted to come back and were intercepted by a member of the village security committee at the entrance of the village. These two practitioners were taken to Jiaoliu Island Police Station. In the afternoon of July 26, 2006, they were taken to the Political Security Section of Wafangdian City Police Department and then transferred to Wangfangdian City Detention Center, where they are now detained.
Ms. Liu Dongmei graduated from Dalian Foreign Language Institute, with a Master's in English Language and Literature. She has been employed by the Dalian City Foreign Language Institute, Northeast University of Finance and Economics. She won the award of Advanced Teacher and other honors many times. Just because she believes in "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance," she was sentenced to forced labor in 1999 and detained at Masanjia Labor Camp.
In 2001, Ms. Liu Dongmei was again sentenced to three years in prison. She was detained at Liaoning Province Women's Prison. During the period of her detention, her father passed away without being able to see her one last time. Her employer dismissed her under pressure. In 2004 when she was released, she was forced to leave her home to avoid being arrested.
