2. [Dayi County, Sichuan Province] Many Falun Gong Practitioners Illegally Arrested and Detained
Since late April of this year, the 610 Office of Dayi County in Sichuan Province has arrested Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Wang Xiaosong, Mr. Xu Shaoping, Ms. Zhao Cunrong, Mr. Li Guoliang, Ms. Wang Liqiong, Ms. Yang Daiying, Ms. Gong Shuliang, Mr. Yang Yuqiong, Ms. Ya Ya, etc. All together over ten practitioners have been arrested.
3. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Practitioner Ms. Tang Qiong Still Illegally Held in the Lanzhou City Women’s Prison
Practitioner Ms. Tang Qiong has been illegally held in the Lanzhou City Women’s Prison and brutally tortured. She was thrown down the stairs of the prison. Only upon emergency treatment was her life saved. She is currently still being held illegally in the Lanzhou City Women’s Prison.
4. [Anda City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Jiang Zengchao Already Illegally Held for Six Years
Practitioner Mr. Jiang Zengchao, currently 33 years old, is from Xincun Group of Xincun Township, Qinggang County in Heilongjiang Province. He started practicing Falun Dafa in 1999. In September 1999, Mr. Jiang Zengchao went to appeal for Falun Dafa following normal legal procedures. However, he was taken back from Beijing by police from the Anda City Police Department. He was illegally held in the Detention Center for three days and was brutally beaten. In addition, he was forced to put on foot shackles that weigh more than dozens of Jin (ten Jin equals approximately 5 kg. or 11 lb.), and are supposed to be used only on death row criminals. Because of this, the numerous scars on his feet were still clearly visible even after he was released home. Later, he was illegally held again for twenty-one days by the Qinggang County Police Department before he was finally released.
In November 1999, Mr. Jiang Zengchao was arrested again by police from the Chaoyang Police Station of Anda City. He was forcibly taken to the Anda City Detention Center where he was again held illegally for over five months. In April 2000, he was taken to the Suihua Forced Labor Camp and sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. After he was released, Mr. Jiang was forced to leave home to avoid being arrested. He was doing part-time work in Pangjiang City in Liaoning Province in order to make a living. Later, he was reported to police by his landlord, and then illegally arrested by the Pangjing City Police Department. He was illegally held for over nine months before being sentenced to ten years of imprisonment, without having gone through any legal procedures nor being shown any legal evidence. He is currently being held in the No. 4 Division of the No. 2 Prison of the Shenyang City Dabei Prison in Liaoning Province.
5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Gao Fengxin Illegally Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Gao Fengxin from Shuangyang District of Changchun City was planning to make truth-clarification materials when she went back to visit her parents on July 17, 2006. She was arrested by hidden plainclothes police officers from the Sheling Street Police Station of Shuangyang District, and was then illegally held in the Shuangyang District Detention Center. The Police Station refused to take responsibility, and thus has handed her case to the Political and Security Division of the Shuangyang District Police Department.

Between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on July 14, 2006, over twenty police officers from the Shanqian Police Station of Jilin City, the Lianhua Police Station of Jilin City, etc. went to the Shiyi Chinese-Japanese Market, to the "New Cosmos Culture Products" booth to arrest practitioner Ms. Liu Hongxia.Yan Jiafu (male), director of the Shanqian Police Station, reported it as "arresting a murderer."

7. [Qiqihaer City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Qi Baizhi Arrested
On the evening of July 16, 2006, practitioner Ms. Qi Baizhi from the Fulaerji District of Qiqihaer City was arrested by local police officers when she was distributing Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials in the Meilisi District.
8. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Cui Yueshu Arrested at Her Home
Ms. Cui Yueshu, about fifty-eight years old, is a practitioner from Yanji City. She was arrested at about 6:00 a.m. on July 13, 2006, at her own home. She is currently being held illegally in the Yanji City Detention Center, where she is being tortured.
9. [Pang County, Guizhou Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
In early July, police from the Pang County Police Department of Guizhou Province illegally arrested a practitioner’s son, who is not a practitioner. They interrogated him through torture. Police forced him to tell who went to his home. Under the brutal beatings by five or six police officers, the son of the practitioner told the police some of the names of the practitioners who had been in his home. This caused the arrest of six practitioners. One practitioner with the surname of Wang walked away with righteous thoughts while the other five practitioners are still being held illegally.
10. [Beijing] Information on Five Practitioners Arrested in March by Haidian District Police Department
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xueqin was arrested on the morning of March 14, 2006 at her home. Since then, her family members have been forbidden from visiting her. She has young children at home and no one is there to take care of them. Police stated that she has been sentenced to forced labor. She is currently being held in Nanyuan District.
Practitioner Ms. Sun Xiaoqin was arrested in March 2006. Since then, no news about her has been heard. The location where she is being held is unclear.
Practitioners Mr. Dong Xuejin and Mr. Wang Jianlin both lived on Zhufang South Street, Qinghe/Haidian District of Beijing. They were arrested in mid-March this year at their home for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. Their family members have been forbidden from visiting them. Police stated that they are being held in the Chaoyang District Police Department.

11. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] The Persecution Experience of Practitioner Mr. Shi Xuan
Practitioner Mr. Shi Xuan from Jinghai Town, Beihai City of Guangxi Province is sixty-six years old. Shortly after July 20, 1999, he was taken to a brainwashing center in an attempt to force him to give up the practice of Falun Dafa. Because Mr. Shi Xuan refused to cooperate (with the police), his home was illegally ransacked. Police confiscated many Falun Dafa books, Fa lecture DVDs, exercise demo DVDs, exercise music tapes and other items. Later, he was taken to the Gaode Police Station, where he was interrogated and fingerprinted. That evening at around 11:00 p.m., he was transferred to the No. 1 Detention Center of Beihai City, where he was tortured. The second year he was transferred to the Pingyang Detoxification Center of Beihai District, where he was subjected to brainwashing and torture.
In 2002, Mr. Shi Xuan’s home was ransacked again, and police confiscated Falun Dafa books and Fa lecture tapes. Later, he was again taken to the Pingyang Forced Labor Camp, where he was held for fifteen days of forced labor. After this, he was taken back to the Detoxification Center, where he was subjected to brainwashing and torture.
12. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Qiancheng Arrested by 610 Office
At about 9:00 a.m. on July 17, 2006, four police officers broke into practitioner Ms. Luo Xiuhui’s home in Xizhangge Village, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. They forcibly ransacked her home without following any legal procedures. They took Master’s photo, Falun Dafa books, two sets of Master’s Fa lecture video tapes, a VCR, a DVD player, a plastic sealer, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, as well as other Dafa truth-clarification materials. At about 4:00 p.m., police again broke into Ms. Luo Xiuhui’s home and interrogated her on the whereabouts of Mr.Wang Qiancheng.
On the morning of July 18, 2006, the 610 Office of Rongcheng City deceived Mr. Wang Qiancheng into going to the Madao Police Station, where he was arrested.

13. [Hebei Province] Practitioners Ms. Leng Xihui and Ms. Li Qiulan Illegally Arrested by the Miyun County Police Department of Beijing
On July 14, 2006, practitioners Ms. Leng Xihui and Ms. Li Qiulan were illegally arrested by the Miyun County Police Department of Beijing. They have since been illegally held in the Miyun County Detention Center.
Ms. Li Qiulan was born on September 23, 1954. Her ethnicity is Han and she is illiterate. Her home address is: Qianjie Village, Anzai Town, Quzhou County, Handan City in Hebei Province.
Ms. Leng Xihui was born on February 11, 1965. Her ethnicity is Han. She graduated from middle school. Her home address is: Room No. 20, Building No. 35, on Qiyi East Road.

14. [Jianli County, Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Xia Cangfu Arrested Again by the Guangdong Province Police
Mr. Xia Cangfu, around 48, is a practitioner of Xingou Town, Jianli County in Hubei Province. He was doing a part-time job at Shunde District of Foshan City in Guangdong Province. At about 8:50 p.m. on July 2, 2006, when he was distributing truth-clarification materials in Guangdong Province, he was arrested by police from the Yang’e Police Station of Shunde County in Guangdong Province. He was taken to the Longyan Detention Center of Leliu Town, where he was held. His hands were handcuffed behind his back. At around midnight, Mr. Xia Cangfu walked away with righteous thoughts.
On July 8, 2006, Mr. Xia Cangfu was arrested again by police from Guangdong Province, in collusion with many police officers from Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, the Jianli County 610 Office, as well as the State Security Division and the Xingou Town Police Station. His current whereabouts are not clear.

16. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Including Ms. Kang Aimin Arrested and the Family Members Extorted for Fines
One day at the beginning of April 2006, three practitioners, Ms. Kang Aimin, Ms. Kang Aiqin and Ms. Tong Li were forcibly taken to the Sunhe Road Police Station by twenty to thirty police officers, who locked the three practitioners into three different rooms and started to search their bodies and bags. At about 7:00 p.m., the practitioners were taken to a detention center.
During the time when the practitioners were detained, the elderly father of practitioners Ms. Kang Aiqin and Ms. Kang Aimin could not sleep upon hearing the news of both of his daughters being arrested. Seven days later, he passed away. The two practitioners did not even have the chance to see their father one last time. Later, their family members were extorted with a fine of tens of thousands of yuan, and the two practitioners were held for over forty days before they were released. Practitioner Ms. Tong Li was held alone in a detention center because her family had no money to bail her out. Later, her family was extorted with a fine of three thousand yuan by the director of the Shunde Road Police Station, Liu (surname, male), before she was finally released.
17. [Fusun City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Zuo Yuhua Arrested and Taken to the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center
Ms. Zuo Yuhua, 48, is a practitioner from the Wanghua District of Fushun City. She was arrested on July 14, 2006, by many people from the 610 Office of Fushun City, the City Districts, the CCP Residential Offices, as well as the Jianshe Police Station. She was then taken to the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center of Fushun City, where she is being tortured.
18. [Shanghai] Practitioner Mr. Pan Jijun Forcibly Taken to the Tilanqiao Prison and Subjected to Torture
In March 2006, the No. 2 Court of Shanghai held an illegal trial of practitioner Mr. Pan Jijun, who then appealed according to legal procedures. However, the court rejected the appeal and upheld the original sentence. In addition, on June 20, 2006, Mr. Pan Jijun was taken to the Tilanqiao Prison, where he is being tortured.
19. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Zhao Rongmin Arrested
On July 19, practitioner Ms. Zhao Rongmin from the Guanzhuang Area of Chaoyang District of Beijing was arrested. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Zhao Rongmin has been illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor.

Practitioner Mr. Miao Jinmin, about thirty-one years old, was reported to the police when he was distributing truth-clarification materials in the Shunde District of Foshan City in Guangdong Province. He was subsequently arrested and is currently being held and brainwashed in the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp of the Shunde District of Foshan City.

On July 18, 2006, police from the Dongcheng Police Station of Nanchuan City and staff members from the Dongcheng Comprehensive Management Office broke into practitioner Ms. Gu Xuezhen’s home. Police confiscated many Falun Dafa materials and a computer, and also arrested Ms. Gu Xuezhen and practitioner Mr. Xiao Tang.

On the afternoon of July 17, 2006, police from the State Security Division of Wendeng City in Shandong Province arrested practitioner Ms. Du Wuyuan and took her to the Wendeng City Detention Center. 23. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Including Mr. Wang Xiujie Illegally Arrested and Detained
Practitioners Ms. X (surname unknown) Mingxia (forty-two years old), Ms. Wang Xiujie (thirty-six years old) and Ms. Zhang Xiuqin were reported to police when they were clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa at the Niugou District of Jintai City on July 4, 2006. They were subsequently arrested by plainclothes police, and were illegally held in the Jiutai City Detention Center. Ms. X Mingxia was brutally beaten. When Ms. Zhang Xiuqin was put through a physical examination, her body exhibited severe loss of balance. The detention center phoned her family members and ordered them to write a guarantee statement before her release. Ms. X Mingxia and Ms. Wang Xiujie are still being held and tortured.
24. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Peiying Illegally Taken Away
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Peiying from Xiaohe District of Guiyang City gave a customer of hers some truth-clarification materials when she was working at the Xiangyacun Furniture Store on July 14, 2006. The customer stepped out of the room to dial "110" and reported her to the police. This caused the arrest of Ms. Zhang by police officers from the Huaguoyuan Police Station. At about 6:00 p.m. that afternoon, Ms. Zhang was taken back to her home at the Xiaohe District. However, she was again taken away that night. It is not clear where she is currently being held.

25. [Tianjin City] Practitioner Mr. Huang Zhiqiang From Nanxi County, Yibin City in Sichuan Province Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor
On March 6, 2006, practitioner Mr. Huang Zhiqiang from Nanxi County in Sichuan Province was working in the Youliang Aluminum Alloy Processing Shop located in Shuanggang Village, Shuanggang Town, Jinnan District of Tianjin City. He was held for one day as a criminal by the Jinnan Police Department of Tianjin City, under the charge of "hiding Falun Dafa books and other relevant materials." Later, he was sentenced to one year of forced labor, which started on March 6, 2006 and will end on March 5, 2007.
26. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Sun Yuzhen Being Tortured
Practitioner Ms. Sun Yuzhen, who was a teacher at the Xiagezhuang Middle School of Laixi City, was arrested again. She was taken to the Dashan Detention Center of Qingdao City and has since been held there. Reportedly, she has already been transferred to the Laixi City Procuratorate, which is attempting to hold an illegal trial against her.
