(Clearwisdom.net) While persuading sentient beings to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) this past year, Dafa practitioners have tried to find opportunities to clarify the truth, help people quit the CCP, and save them. But sometimes we felt that the opportunity was slipping away, and we couldnt find a breakthrough point. I would like to share some of my experiences concerning the issue of whether to give up or to maintain righteous thoughts and eliminate the interference.
Once I took a taxi in a southern city. Chatting with taxi drivers and clarifying the facts to them is something I often do. But this time the driver had a straight face and didnt seem to want to talk. More than ten minutes passed and I almost reached my destination. I thought, "Never mind. It doesnt look like I have enough time to talk with him."
Just then, on the radio, there was a broadcast program about domestic violence. I immediately thought of it as a breakthrough point. I then said to him, "Nowadays, human morality has become corrupted. People cant tolerate each other. The conflicts have intensified so much." Then I switched the topic and said, "I have a friend who had serious family conflicts. They fought all the time. Later my friend had the opportunity to practice Falun Gong and follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. His family is now in harmony."
The driver seemed interested in what I said. I then started talking about the mistake of persecuting Dafa practitioners and the global tide of quitting the CCP. Unexpectedly, the driver started emotionally cursing the CCP. But when I persuaded him to quit the CCP, he tried to avoid the topic. I sent forth righteous thoughts and continued to tell him the importance of quitting the CCP. The situation improved. He started thinking about the pseudonym he could use. I helped him and suggested the word "Hope." He was very happy about the name. When I got out of the car, he said, "Ill ask my wife to quit as well."
The second story I want to share is about a young man who came to my office to help install computers. I thought that this person must be coming here to listen to the truth, but the young man was very impatient and didnt want to talk to anyone. He was busy with his work and sometimes showed a little temper. I couldnt find any opportunity to converse with him.
The day before his last day, I found an opportunity. He was teaching us how to operate the PC. Because I worked hard to learn, and picked up really quickly, he was very impressed and initiated conversation with me. There were lots of people in the office then. But I didnt think too much about it and gave him some truth-clarification materials. He said he wouldnt read them. I said,"Try to read them." I sent forth righteous thoughts at the same time. He finally accepted them.
I talked to him about withdrawing from the CCP. He said that when he was in college, he was one of the first few to join the party. I said that he believed in it before, but now its rotten to the core, so why was he still following it? He said that every year he had to submit party fees which was not a good deal. So I handed him Jiuping, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
The next day he asked me to help him withdraw from the CCP and gave me his nickname. That day, he kept asking me to tell him more facts until it was time for him to catch the train. As he lived far away and said that he never met any Dafa practitioners, I gave him Masters Fa lectures tapes, Zhuan Falun, and Jiuping. I called later to check up on him. He told me that he was asked to open his luggage at the train station. But he was able to come up with an idea and handed over the computer CDs for them to check, thus avoiding trouble.
I realized that Master not only protects Dafa practitioners, but also non-practitioners who have righteous thoughts. I also learned a lesson, in that I almost involved him in danger due to my complacency and insufficient attention to security. Another understanding I have is that Master will arrange many opportunities for us as long as we have righteous hearts.
