The "Wujia Garden" in Xiangtan City is a 610 Office brainwashing center. Agents from the 610 Office illegally arrested many Falun Dafa practitioners and took them there. They force the practitioners to sign documents, write guarantee statements and watch videos. More than ten Dafa practitioners were recently sent to there.
During the past seven years, Xiangtan City 610 Office agents sent at least thirty five Dafa practitioners to forced labor camps. Dafa practitioner Xu Ailian from Bu Town, Xiangtan City was sent to a labor camp twice and suffered a mental collapse after being savagely tortured at the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp. At least fourteen practitioners were sentenced to prison. They include Xiao Zhiqiang, Ning Jia, Liu Chunquan, Wang Qingsheng, Liang Xinan, Deng Ye, Lu Songming, Ma Junwen, Tan Aihua, Mo Lichun, Peng Shiqing, Wang Yuexun, and Xie Wangming.
At least ten Dafa practitioners from Xiangtan City were tortured to death. Five of these deaths were reported on the Minghui website. Dafa practitioner Guo Lifang from Yaowan, Xiangtan City was illegally arrested at home by lawless officials on March 31, 2005. She was tortured to death on April 17, 2005. Her family saw that her body had been dissected. When asked, the officials said, "Yes, we did dissect her body. We wanted to see if there was anything in her stomach." They paid the family 80,000 yuan in "hush money."
Belated 2004 information - Dafa practitioner Cheng Zhiming also comes from Yaowan, Xiangtan City. The 610 Office agents and National Security Bureau (NSB) agents created a car accident, which injured him. His family sent him to the central hospital. The 610 Office persecutors sent a NSB spy to watch him on October 24, 2004, but Cheng Zhiming suddenly passed away on October 24 and his body was frozen for over a dozen days. His family was forbidden from claiming the body to hold a funeral for him at home.
