My Understanding after Reading, "Expose the Evil Happening Locally to the Local People"

The Minghui/Clearwisdom website recently published a number of articles referring to the article, "Expose the Evil Happening Locally to the Local People (With Master's Comments)." This has helped me remember that a fellow practitioner told me a few days ago that the police and some other people in our local area are out of control and are "illegally arresting" whomever they wish. This is a reflection of our lack of exposing the evil. When one practitioner is persecuted, other practitioners send righteous thoughts and post notices in the area for a period of time, to rescue the practitioner. But most practitioners don't know the details of the persecution or the names of the relatives of the persecutors. Therefore, they can't expose the evil any further in order to stop the persecution. The evildoers thus continue to do what they want to do. This situation made some practitioners feel helpless.

We shared with practitioners from another area, who suggested that their environment is relatively good. Most local people know the truth and the local 610 Office doesn't interfere much with practitioners' truth clarification and doing the Falun Gong exercises. But, some time ago, the wicked people in that area were also very active in persecuting practitioners. Practitioners were arrested and sentenced frequently. Later, because of exposing the evil locally, sending righteous thoughts continuously and focusing on exposing certain wicked people, they eliminated the dark minions in other dimensions. Retribution came to the evildoers. They paid dearly for their wrongdoings. Therefore, many people who persecuted practitioners became clearheaded and stopped. When they later saw Falun Dafa practitioners out clarifying the truth, they pretended they did not see anything.

From this example, we see that at this stage of the Fa-rectification, the evil is losing its environment to do evil on a large scale. Therefore, it is not normal that the evil is still so reckless in our local area. There is one problem -- when we exposed the evil, we did not point to the people directly persecuting practitioners and publish the evil methods they used. We did not have information about their relatives and neighbors. Maybe some practitioners think it is difficult to obtain such information. But I think that Falun Dafa practitioners have superior wisdom, and nothing is impossible for practitioners. If one holds the firm thought of finding the information, the Fa will give us the power we need. But, we have to be diligent in studying the Fa, and improve our righteous thoughts. Meanwhile we need to remember every moment that what we are doing is saving people. When these wicked people continue to do harm, it is not in their or their family members' best interest. We have to eliminate the wicked spirits behind them and have the people pay the price for doing evil. We have to keep in mind that our final goal is to stop them persecuting us, stop them from doing evil and thus gain a better future for themselves. I'm correct in this, don't you think?

Another problem is the existence of brainwashing centers. Currently, the largest brainwashing center in Chengdu is in Xinjin. It is organized by the Sichuan Province and Chengdu 610 Offices. The brainwashing center has existed for a long time. Some time ago, it did not have enough financial support. The money which maintains it today is paid by the work units and families of practitioners. It doesn't have any other financial resources. Recently, a practitioner left there with dignity. His actions were righteous and he did not give in to the persecution. People from his work unit also went to the brainwashing center and argued for his release. They told them, "You abducted such a good person! You delayed our work and you ask us to pay!" People who were assigned to watch this practitioner also said, "You have to pay us." Therefore, the brainwashing center did not get anything from this practitioner, instead, they had to pay out of their pocket, so they released him.

But, why has this brainwashing center been in existence for so long? If all practitioners would have remained firm from the beginning, and if all families refused to pay even one cent, and if the evil could not get their way with any of the practitioners, instead of "transforming" them or falsifying their signature on "repentance statements," then the evil couldn't have achieved its purpose. They could have not dragged practitioners down one by one. The evil wouldn't have been successful. This way, they could not have received credit and rewards from their superiors. Would there be any value for such centers to exist? We did not do well at the beginning, because we were not mature enough. In fact, the conclusion would not have been difficult to reach if we had seen the large picture; that is, not all brainwashing centers were built at the very beginning. At the beginning there were only a few, as "tests." As soon as their "tests" were successful, they increased them into other areas. We can no longer say that the continued existence of the brainwashing centers has nothing to do with the state of every one of our practitioners!

A local practitioner pointed out that there are very few articles exposing the brainwashing center and wicked people in Xinjin. Many local practitioners have been persecuted, but few of the persecutors' evil tricks are exposed. Many people, hired specifically to watch practitioners, do not know the truth. Many of them were taken from their work units, and some of them were those in their 40s and 50s who had lost their jobs. They get paid regularly for working at such a "comfortable" job. They did not realize that they became assistants in the evil persecution. Why didn't our practitioners who were persecuted in that area make greater efforts to expose the brainwashing centers? The evil is afraid of being exposed. They may try to cover it up, deny it, or even fight back when little information is exposed. A practitioner said that an article from practitioners is like a sharp sword that goes through the evil's heart. A large amount of exposure would be like a shower of swords, a sword forest attacking the evil. The greater the exposure and the more facts become known, the less they can deny the truth. If one does not report it because of fear, then one should read the Minghui/Clearwisdom article with Teacher's comments.

We practitioners understand that righteous thoughts have enormous power. Sending righteous thoughts is the best method to eliminate evil. But sometimes, since we did not see the results of the righteous thoughts right away, practitioners slow down in their efforts. This reflects how much we believe in Teacher and the Fa.

To many of our practitioners, diligent Fa study is the basis for righteous thoughts. We also shared that often when we are busy with work, families and daily truth clarification, we have so little time. When we finally sit down and try to study the Fa, we are too tired. Then visitors stop by, practitioners come to share, children's school problems pop up, family members get sick, and so on; even the machines used for making truth clarifying materials suddenly do not cooperate. Many unexpected problems occurred. Actually, at this moment what we need the most is to calm down and deal with these things calmly. The most important thing is to send righteous thoughts to clean out the disturbances and eliminate the dark minions and the Chinese Communist Party's wicked spirit before Fa study. The times for sending righteous thoughts can vary, depending on the individual situation.

I personally think that this is a very good suggestion. Our fellow practitioners with similar situations can do the same. I believe when our righteous thoughts are strong enough, our environment will turn positive and healthy.
