Bill Kosinski speaks to freshman Denver White about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a form of meditation that uses special exercises to improve the mind and body. The Chinese Communist Party outlawed the practice of Falun Gong in 1999.
Kosinski, along with Corinna Stuhlman and Xia Kang, protested the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners on Friday afternoon outside Brady Commons by sharing information about Falun Gong and asking for signatures on a petition for President George Bush.
