(Clearwisdom.net) On May 9, Master published the article "Pass the
Deadly Test." I cried when reading the article. I was deeply touched by Master's
boundless benevolence. Master said,
"As your Master, I have never kept account of the wrong things you have done in
your cultivation; I remember only the good things you have done and your
accomplishments." ("Pass the Deadly Test")
I felt so lucky to be Master's student and a Dafa practitioner. We must treasure
this rare opportunity of cultivation.
During the terrible persecution, I did give in to the evil, leaving a stain on
my cultivation because I did not study the Fa well. Master, though, never gave
up on me. With fellow practitioners' help I found my true nature again and
returned to Fa-rectification period cultivation.
When doing the Three Things, I truly feel that Master is always with me,
helping me, protecting me and giving me encouraging reminders. With Master's
protection, studying the Fa made me realize many things, and that, no matter how
big of a mistake I made, as long as I could truly let go of my attachments and
correct the mistakes with righteous thoughts, Master never gives up on us!
Master will continue to offer us salvation.
Master said,
"Indeed, as long as there's still one day when the persecution hasn't ended,
that day is an opportunity. Use it well, do better, come back sooner, and don't
miss any more opportunities. Don't dwell on your past mistakes--if you've made
mistakes, then do well from now on. Don't think about the things that have
happened. Think about how to do well from now on, and become truly responsible
to yourself and to sentient beings." (Touring North America to Teach the Fa)
In his lectures Master compassionately called on us practitioners who made
mistakes, sometimes big mistakes, many times to come back to Dafa. Master is
waiting for us. We must not continue to make mistakes and take Master's mercy
lightly. As long as we still want to cultivate in Dafa, we must do what Master
told us to do - validate the Fa and rescue people. We must cultivate ourselves
well in validating Dafa. We must correct our mistakes rather than covering them
up. It is normal for a cultivator to have attachments; all we need to do is to
rid ourselves of our attachments through cultivation. We should not be afraid!
With the help of Master and Dafa we will succeed. We must let go of any concern
and attachment to fear. We must be faithful to Master and Dafa.
Master said,
"Dafa disciples and I will not regard students who have gone down the wrong path
in their cultivation the way ordinary people would." ("Pass the Deadly Test")
What great compassion and forbearance this is! If we cannot let go of our human
notions under such boundless benevolence, we are not worthy of Master's
salvation, nor could we still be the hope of sentient beings.
I hope we practitioners who have gone down the wrong path in our cultivation
will all do what Master told us to do and truly treasure this precious
opportunity.
