1. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Chen Xiu Held in Tiexi District Detention Center in Shenyang City
Practitioner, Ms. Chen Xiu in Shenyang City was taken on March 3, 2006. She was sent to the brainwashing center in Zhangshi, Shenyang City. She has been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Ms. Chen is currently in the Tiexi District Detention Center in Shenyang. She is in very critical condition. According to sources, her case has been transferred to the Tiexi District Procuratorate, and she is going to be charged. Her family has found her a lawyer, who will meet the personnel involved with her case after May 1.

2. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhao Hongli in Critical Condition in Panjin Prison
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Hongli from Jianpin C,ounty, Chaoyang City has been on a hunger strike for seven months in Panjin Prison. The prison has been persecuting him and force-feeding him. Because of the force-feeding, Mr. Zhao is now vomiting blood and is in critical condition. His family requested his release, but the request was refused.

3. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jin Lihong and Ms. Ji Hongrui Persecuted in Heilongjiang Women's Prison
Practitioner Ms. Jin Hongli from Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province was arrested by officers from Taoshan Public Security Sub-bureau on December 1, 2004. Her house was illegally searched. Her computer, two copy machines, a printer, and a color printer were confiscated. About one week later, practitioner Ms. Ji Hongrui was also arrested by officers from Taoshan Public Security Sub-bureau. Ms. Jin was secretly sentenced to three and a half years in prison, while Ms. Ji was secretly sentenced to three years. They were transferred to Heilongjiang Women's Prison on May 18, 2005. Ms. Jin Hongli is now held in the "strictly managed" area of the training unit. Ms. Ji Hongrui is held in the No. 9 Area. Ms. Jin has been ona hunger strike and is extremely weak. Her life is in danger.
4. [Henan Province] Persecution of Practitioners in the No. 3 Forced Labor Camp in Xuchang City Intensifies
In the No. 3 Forced Labor Camp in Xuchang City, many practitioners have been incarcerated for the second or third time. Among them are Mr. Wu Junqing, Mr. Yang Deqi, Mr. Hu Bin, Mr. Ma Gang, and Mr. Yan Jiafu. Eight days after Ms. Yan Jiafu was brought in, he was sentenced to three years and sent somewhere else. Mr. Wu Bing was arrested for the second time. Because he refused to denounce Falun Gong, his right leg was severely beaten. His entire body has been affected by scabies. In spite of his condition, he still has to do hard labor.
5. [Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Suying Arrested at Home by Officers from Shenjiatun Police Station
Around 11 a.m. on April 24, 2006, Li Yanjun, Director of the Shenjiatun Police Station in Zhang Jiakou, led four people and three cars to practitioner Ms. Guo Suying's home. With many people watching, four men carried her to the car against her will. The Dafa materials and books in her home were also confiscated.

6. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] No 4 Division of Changchun Women's Forced Labor Camp Continues to Persecute Practitioner Ms. Yuan Shufang
The detention of practitioner Ms. Yuan Shufang from Lushuihe, Baishan City, has been extended. To protest the persecution, she refuses to do the forced labor. The police have threatened that her term will be extended by the number of days she refuses to work.
7. [Hebei Province] No. 4 Prison of Shijiazhuang Continues to Persecute Practitioners
There are more than 60 practitioners in the No. 4 Prison of Shijiazhuang. They are forced to do hard labor for more than 12 hours per day, seven days a week. Every day people are succumbing to the hardships or becoming ill. The working conditions, the environment, and the food are extreme poor.
8. [Tianjin City] Practitioner Ms. Han Enzhi from Dawanggu Village in the Wuqing District Arrested
At 11:00 a.m. on April 27, 2006, Zhang Jianguo, village director from Shuihuopu, and Song Dehua of the security committee led police officers from the Dawanggu Village Police Station and a policeman from Yang Village in the Wuqing District to practitioner Ms. Han Enzhi's home. They broke into her house and took her to Dawanggu Police Station. The police also put other Dafa practitioners' homes under 24-hour surveillance.
9. [Qinhuangdao, Shangdong Province] Practitioner Ms. Lian Baochang's Family Harassed
In the afternoon on April 25, 2006, Wang Xueming from Haibin Road Police Station in Qinhuangdao and other two policemen once again intruded into Mr. Lian Baochang's home. He was forced to leave home to avoid being persecuted. They took away Zhuan Falun, "Minghui Weekly" and other materials. They also tried to take Mr. Lian's wife under the excuse of helping them to find him. Meeting her firm resistance, they gave up and left.
10. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Wang Qin is Detained
Falun Dafa practitioner and former doctorial candidate of Tsinghua University Ms. Wang Qin is illegally imprisoned in the No. 3 Area of Huazi Prison in Dengta County, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province.
11. [Beihai, Guangxi Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Liying and Others' Homes Illegally Searched
On April 11, the Politics and Law Committee of the Yinhai District in Beihai City, Guangxi Province, and several policemen from the Longtan Police Station in Yintan Town went to harass practitioners in Longtanxia Village. At 9:00 p.m. on April 22, the same group illegally searched the homes of practitioners Ms. Zhang Liying, Ms. Weng Liangfen, and Ms. Li Zuozhou. Four copies of Zhuan Falun, one copy of Minghui Weekly, three cassette players, and several exercise cassette tapes were confiscated.
12. [Longkou, Shangdong] Mr. Wang Xueqing Arrested at Home
On April 26 and 27, 2006, police from the Nanshan Police Station broke into practitioner Mr. Zheng Quanhua's home and confiscated his equipment and Dafa books.
At 9:00 a. m. on April 28, 2006, policemen from Public Security Bureau of Longkou City and Xinjia Police Station broke into practitioner Ms.Wang Xueqing's home and arrested her while she was looking after her sick husband.
