(Clearwisdom.net) Delft is an ancient city located between The Hague and the large seaport Rotterdam in central Holland. On account of the particulars of its geographical position, Delft has always been the place where merchants, scholars and artists gathered. The residents of Delft are especially fond of the arts. On May 6th, the Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition was held in the library situated in the center of Delft.
At the opening ceremony, the curator of the library explained in his address that Falun Gong not only is a practice of gentle exercises, but it also benefits people's health and enhances their moral level. Nonetheless, it is suffering a brutal persecution in China. The curator hoped that people would gain a better understanding of Falun Gong through this exhibition.

Visitors paid close attention to the pictures. One picture displayed a Falun Gong practitioner practicing the sitting meditation, with legs crossed in the lotus position, appearing serene and peaceful. A visitor said, "This picture is wonderful. I think it the prettiest here." The painter had used her consummate skill to portray Falun and gong pillars (supernatural phenomenon experienced in cultivation of Falun Dafa) with brilliancy; thus the visitors felt it was so graceful and inspiring.
On the other side of the exhibition, a visitor stood in front of the picture depicting a vicious Chinese policeman persecuting a Falun Gong practitioner. He was shocked by the cruel behavior of this policeman. The persecuted practitioner was being brutally beaten but still remained calm.
A practitioner told visitors, "During these seven years of persecution, we have verified that more than 2,800 practitioners were tortured to death. Nonetheless, practitioners keep calm and peaceful [in the face of this persecution]. We believe the persecution will cease one day. Good and evil will receive their just rewards." The visitor said, "I hope this day will come soon."
This art exhibition was divided into four parts: The Beauty of Self-Cultivation, Constant Existence of Righteousness, Appeal for Justice, and Justice Prevails. The exhibit will be shown for one month.
