(Clearwisdom.net) May 13, 2006 is World Falun Dafa Day. Practitioners in many countries held activities to celebrate the 14th anniversary of Master starting to spread the Fa. Practitioners from Hualian, Taiwan, celebrated this special day by doing the group exercises, studying the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth.
It was sunny on May 13. Practitioners assembled on the square in front of Hualian Congress House to do the exercises. The blue sky, green lawn and the gentle exercise movements formed a beautiful scene and attracted many people. Practitioners took photos and wished Master a happy birthday.

Practitioners studied the Fa and shared experiences in the morning. One practitioner shared her experience of clarifying the truth in Hong Kong, where a good environment of clarifying the truth has already been formed with practitioners' efforts. She hoped that practitioners from Hualian will try better to clarify the truth at the tourist spots.
One practitioner talked about his understanding of studying the Fa. Master said,
"I often say that if all a person wants is the well-being of others and if this is without the slightest personal motivation or personal understanding, what he says will move the listener to tears." ("Clearheadedness" from Essentials for Further Advancement)
The practitioner said that when he studied the Fa previously, he only paid attention to not having personal motivation, but he never thought about personal understanding. He recently enlightened that he should not study the Fa with personal understanding. Another practitioner shared his experience of clarifying the truth on campus. He said that due to the heart of "waiting for and relying on others," he didn't do well. He realized that he should not rely on others, and should be more active in "clarifying the truth" with righteous thoughts.
In the afternoon, practitioners called China to clarify the truth to the precious Chinese on this special date. In the righteous energy field, practitioners took turns making calls. Some practitioners, who didn't dare to make calls, also tried to read the truth materials and had good results. They then had more confidence to call China. Practitioners realized that they have not done very well in clarifying the truth as a whole group and they will try their best to do well.
The activity successfully ended in the afternoon.
