(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, many Dafa practitioners were illegally arrested for no reason in Changchun City. Thirty-four Dafa practitioners were put in prison, most of whom were seniors. The following are details of some of the persecution cases:
At 1:00 p.m. on March 17, 2006, policemen from the Economic Development District Branch of the Changchun Public Security Department and Zhuhai Road Police Station arrested Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Ruijian who was surfing on the Internet at "Saturday Internet Cafe" in the Sixth District of the Economic Development District. He is now in criminal detention.
At 4 o'clock on March 15, Dafa practitioner Ms. Zheng Donghui, 37 years old, was arrested when hanging a banner on the southern wall of the Jilin Province Committee.
On March 2, Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Yuxia, 58 years old, from Nong'an County, was reported while distributing truth clarifying materials. As a result, she was arrested.
On March 2, Dafa practitioner Ms. Guo Yanping, 36 years old, was arrested by policemen from the Kalun Police Station of the Jiutai City Public Security Department.
From March 1 to 2, under the direction of Han Dongmin (of Hui ethnicity, born in May 1951), a 610 Office chief in charge of persecuting Falun Gong, deputy director of the Changchun City Public Security Department, and secret agents from the State Security Branch of the Changchun City Public Security Department, employed more than one hundred policemen to arrest 20 Dafa practitioners, 18 of whom were seniors. Nineteen of the practitioners are listed as follows:
Ms. Jin Zhenshu (74 years old), Ms. Huang Shuyuan (66 years old), Ms. Tan Huifang (72 years old), Ms. Yao Fenglan (56 years old), Ms. Wang Weixin (70 years old), Ms. Jia Se (63, years old), Ms. Lu Shukun (60 years old), Ms. Jiang Shulan (64 years old), Ms. Luan Yi (67 years old), Ms. Zhuang Suxian (67 years old), Ms. Zhao Shulan (66 years old), Ms. Li Yan (60 years old), Ms. Zhang Xiuyan (73 years old), Ms. Zhu Yuqing (72 years old), Ms. Fan Shufen (66 years old), Mr. Zhao Yufu (56 years old), Ms. Zhang Zhengrong (56 years old, wife of Zhao Yufu), Mr. Zhao Mingnan (30 years old, son of Zhao Yufu), Ms. Zhao Mingnu (28 years old, daughter of Zhao Yufu).
Among the people mentioned above, five were put in criminal detention and thirteen were sent to forced labor camp. According to information from inside sources, secret agents had tailed Jin Zhenshu for more than one year. Dafa practitioners who have communicated with Jin Zhenshu, please take care of your safety.
On the afternoon of February 28, policemen from the Nanling Police Station affiliated with the Nanguan Branch arrested Dafa practitioners Mr. Tian Yuchun (57 years old), Ms. Hong Jing (52 years old, Tian's wife), and Ms. Fu Meihua (65 years old), who were distributing truth-clarifying materials at Jingshui Community Area, and sent them to criminal detention.
Additionally, on October 31, 2005, the Nanling Police Station arrested Dafa practitioners Ms. Sun Zhanrong (62 years old), Ms. Li Rongfeng (51 years old), and Ms. Wang Chaoyun (60 years old). On November 2, 2005, they arrested Mr. Fu Chongda (66 years old), Ms. Li Honglan (60 years old), and Ms. Zhang Dezhao (56 years old), and sent them to criminal detention. On November 15, Dafa practitioner Bai Yujie was passing out truth clarifying materials and was arrested by Political and Internal Security Section Chief Wang Fuping of the Economic Development District Branch of the Changchun Public Security Department, Superintendent Liu Wei and Deputy Superintendent Sun Lijun of the Zhuhai Road Police Station, along with policemen Hui Zhenyu, Yu Datie, and others.
The Changchun City Chaoyang Public Security Branch held a conference recently to plan the persecution of practitioners. Branch Chief Guan Lianping, Deputy Branch Chief Cai Bing demanded every police station to "dispose of" at least five Dafa practitioners by the end of the year. The Chaoyang District has nearly 30 police stations.
