1. [Zhaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Ms. Li Yanlan and Ms. Chen Cuizhi Sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
Feng Zhenjie and others of Zhaoyang City's Guangming Police Office followed and then illegally arrested 70-year-old Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Yanlan and 44-year-old practitioner Ms. Chen Cuizhi on the night of March 21, 2006. Feng twisted and hurt the senior lady's wrist, and she still has bruises on her wrist. The police interrogated the two ladies and then kept them at Shijiahetao Detention Center. Thes two practitioners went on hunger strikes to protest against the persecution. The next day, the police accompanied the city's National Guard Team, including Wang Jinglong and others, to break into these two practitioners' homes in order to confiscate Falun Gong books and other personal property. On March 31, the two practitioners were secretly transferred to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for further persecution without notifying their family members.

2. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Liu Jun Cruelly Tortured
A non-practitioner revealed the cruel tortures applied to practitioner Mr. Liu Jun at Handan City No. 1 Detention Center. (Having been illegally sentenced to 11 years, Mr. Liu is now suffering persecution at Shijiazhuang Prison.)
Because he refused to give up Falun Gong, the center police handcuffed Mr. Liu Jun and hung him up for a whole week. When they let him down, his feet were swollen to the size of elephant feet. Liu was almost disabled and could hardly walk. It took him half an hour to walk to the toilet.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Qiuxia of Juye County was forcefully taken by the local police to Jinan Women's Forced Labor Camp for persecution.
9. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Police Keep Watch on Local Falun Gong Practitioners to Persecute Them
Police have been closely monitoring local Falun Gong practitioners who have been sending forth righteous thoughts for more than six months. Plain-clothed police secretly took pictures of each of the practitioners and are trying to find excuses to arrest them.
10. [Puning City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Minyu and His Family Persecuted and Harassed
Practitioner Mr. Li Minyu of Guangdong Province was taken away by Puning City's National Security on the afternoon of March 30, 2006. Then they instigated Meitang Town Police Station to search his old home and to confiscate Falun Gong books.
The next day, Mr. Li was sent to Wushi Detention Center in Puning City. That night, Puning City's National Security went with Liushaxintan Village Public Security and Chengdong Police Station personnel to illegally search his leased residence. They took his father, Mr. Li Lüwen, to the Puning Police Station. Village public security and the landlord repeatedly tried to force Mr. Li Lüwen to immediately move out. The originally happy family is now facing a very difficult situation.

11. [Leihe City, Henan Province] Three Local Practitioners Illegally Arrested
Police of Yuanhui District Public Security Bureau unlawfully charged into Dajingzhuang Village and illegally arrested three Falun Gong practitioners: Ms. Liu Hongxia, Ms. Liu Fengling, and Ms. Wan Lihe.
12. [Shenzhen, Guangdong Province] Longgang Court Unlawfully Opening a Second Trial Session for Practitioner Mr. Liu Yu
Practitioner Mr. Liu Yu has been illegally detained for persecution at Longgang Center. On March 20, 2006, Shenzhen City's Longgang Court unlawfully opened a second trial session for Mr. Liu. The presiding judge was changed from the original Xu Guang to the female Jia Yu who has a reputation of being vicious and arrogant in trials of Falun Gong practitioners.
13. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Four Practitioners from Yangyuan District Illegally Detained
On the morning of March 24, 2006, practitioners from Yangyuan District were seized by plain-clothed police and detained in an unknown location when they were found clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in the Yangyuan neighborhood Kindergarten. One of these practitioners' house has been searched.
The detained practitioners include the 60-some year-old Ms. Zhang Chunmei, 50+ year-old Ms. Xiong Hanlian, who has been persecuted many times, 50-year-old Ms. Zhang Qiong, and another practitioner whose name has not been verified. Previously, Ms. Zhang Chunmei's husband, Mr. Li Qingzhou, who was also a practitioner, had been persecuted to death by the local Public Security Bureau in 2002.
14. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Public Security Arrest Falun Gong Practitioners to Meet Their Quota
Director Wang Zhiqing of Gongzhuling City Public Security Bureau ordered that each police station in towns and villages under him has to train "public security" personnel. He has also set a quota in maintaining public security, and to meet it, they can arbitrarily arrest Falun Gong practitioners.

15. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] A Practitioner from Shengli Village in Changling County Arrested
On March 27, 2006, a Falun Gong practitioner, about 30 years old from Shengli Village in Changling County, Songyuan City was taken from her home by the local police. Her name is unknown.
16. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhao Yan Arrested by Ningbo Police
Practitioner Mr. Zhao Yan, a native of Harbin City, was working at Ningbo City. On November 14, 2005, he came back to Ningbo from Harbin. Three days later, Mr. Zhao was arrested by Ningbo police at his residence. Two notebook PCs were confiscated. He is now confined at Ningbo Detention Center. It was reported that Ningbo Court is going to open a trial for Mr. Zhao Yan.

While clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to others, practitioners Ms. Chou Xi'e and Ms. Nie Zhijun of Miluo District were illegally arrested in mid March, 2006.
18. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Ms. Gan Jiejun Faces Illegal Trial
Practitioner Ms. Gan Jiejun, a 64-year-old resident of Shenzhen City, was arrested by the city's Yuanling Police because she was distributing materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her case was forwarded to the local prosecutor's office and a trial was hastily arranged. Her daughter attempted to send her some clothes and personal belongings, but the visit request was not approved.
19. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Thugs Harass Falun Gong Practitioners Twice within Two Weeks
On March 4, 2006, Deputy Party Commissioner Song Ke'an of Shidui Town teamed with five policemen from the local police station to break into the house of practitioner Mr. Sun Yemao, confiscating his Minghui Weekly. They also broke into the home of another practitioner, Mr. Wang Xueyun.
On March 17, police repeated the harassment. They went to the homes of several other practitioners. They ransacked everything while searching Mr. Wang Xueyun's house. Mr. Wang was at work, so the police missed him twice in the daytime. After Mr. Wang came home at 8 or 9 p.m., the police went to his residence again. Three policemen forced Mr. Wang's hand to put his fingerprint on a note (possibly a faked confession) that they had prepared in advance. Then the police left with satisfaction.

20. [Chongqing City, Sichuan Province] A Practitioner Persecuted at Yangjiao District, Wulong County
In the afternoon on February 26, 2006, Wulong County's National Security and Yangjiao Police Station forcefully took away local Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liu Banghe. They handcuffed him over night and detained him with an administrative order for 13 days.
21. [Jilin Province] Produce Industry in Jilin Agriculture University Organizes Unemployed People to Interfere with Practitioners' Truth-clarification
Produce industry in Jilin Agriculture University is taking advantage of unemployed people's need for money. In the name of selling herbs, these unemployed people are told to follow Falun Gong practitioners and prevent them from distributing truth clarification materials. The jobless people set up a patrol team particularly for finding practitioners who are distributing truth clarification materials. They are rewarded with 1,000 yuan for each practitioner they catch distributing truth clarification material.
