On April 4, 2006, the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui website founded "The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG)." Its mission is to investigate and gather evidence of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners at all the forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals, and other related facilities where Falun Gong practitioners are illegally detained. Here, I'd like to share my understanding on the establishment and the potential meaning of the CIPFG.
Some fellow practitioners and everyday people had a question about the CIPFG. They asked, "As the victims of the persecution, Falun Gong practitioners are now investigating the persecution. Can practitioners remain unbiased during this investigation?" In fact, the establishment of the CIPFG is similar to practitioners' setting up media to expose the persecution. Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong, many international media have been ignoring the brutal persecution since they were bought off or temped by various kinds of material interests offered by the CCP. Eventually, the practitioners had to step forward to set up independent media of their own to expose the persecution and to clarify the truth to the governments and people around the world. This has the same background as the establishment of the CIPFG. Most of the governments and media giants around the world are either thinking of how to make a profit by doing business with the CCP or trying to please the CCP because of their own political agendas. Therefore, they are not willing or they do not dare to anger the CCP by initiating an independent investigation of the persecution of Falun Gong. What they can do at most is to accept the CCP's invitation after the CCP has cleaned up or covered up all the evidence, and then do an "investigation" under the CCP's guidance and monitoring. As we can imagine, they won't be able to find anything. In fact, what they will do will help the CCP mislead the people around the world. Even more, some international media have simply ignored the facts about the persecution that Falun Gong practitioners exposed at the risk of losing their lives. At the same time, they are eager to spread the news or the statements of the CCP. Whenever the CCP claimed they didn't persecute Falun Gong, those media would repeat what the CCP said in a timely manner. The purpose of their doing so is to please the CCP and to gain material benefits from the CCP.
People, just think, will a murderer actively provide you with evidence of his crime? Besides, the CCP is very good at covering up facts, blocking the flow of information, and destroying evidence. When the CCP, a serial killer, claims that they don't persecute Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners, why doesn't the international media giants question whether the CCP is unbiased or not in its news reports or statements? Instead, they simply copy the CCP's lies and help spread them. Where are their principles of being unbiased as media outlets?
In other words, the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, coupled with the governments and the media around the world ignoring their conscience and keeping silent in exchange for material benefits from the CCP, gave Falun Gong practitioners no choice but to investigate the persecution on their own.
Therefore, it is reasonable for Falun Gong practitioners abroad to investigate the persecution. When those standing by are numb and even helping the murderers commit their evil deeds, how come the victims are not allowed to conduct an investigation on their own? Isn't it true that victims would know more about the persecution? Isn't it true that Falun Gong practitioners know better how much danger their fellow practitioners in China are facing? In fact, Falun Gong practitioners know the most about the persecution of Falun Gong and they are more qualified than anybody else to conduct the investigation. Some governments have called upon the CCP to investigate its own persecution of Falun Gong. That is really absurd. Where is their principle of being unbiased? Unfortunately, human rights, the most commonly recognized rights, seem worthless compared to material interests. From the perspective of justice, victims should be granted more rights to do investigations. Besides, the Falun Dafa Association and Minghui net clearly said in their statement that they welcome any other governments, organizations and independent media to join the investigationr. Therefore, there is no doubt that they are unbiased.
In fact, Falun Dafa practitioners are the most qualified party to do this investigation. In the past nearly seven years, how much has the ordinary people's society done to help Falun Gong practitioners? Of course, many kind people have spoken out after they learned the truth in order to uphold justice. However, most of the governments and big media have remained silent. How can we rely on them? Besides, they have limited, and even vague understanding of how evil the CCP is. They would not have the ability to see through the CCP's lies or overcome the CCP's interference during the course of an actual investigation. Meanwhile, Falun Gong practitioners clearly see through the CCP's evil nature and we have accumulated many experiences while working against the persecution. The most important thing is that we have the power of the Fa to eliminate the CCP's interference. In another word, we are the most qualified and we are the most capable party to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong.
Some people think it useless to conduct an investigation, and that the CCP won't give us visas to enter China or allow us to investigate. Think about it, if "the CCP doesn't issue us visas" to conduct this investigation, we can use this as evidence to prove how afraid the CCP is and how hard it is trying to cover up the persecution. In that case, we will continue to apply for the visas and if they continue to deny our requests, this is something that the media should be interested in knowing. We then can use it to call upon the international community and media to expose the persecution and pressure the CCP. We would be in a very strong position.
Of course, we have attachments to remove during this process. We know this persecution is not something launched by everyday people that targets everyday people. This is something that everyday people can't understand and this is something that we can't expect them to understand. In the ordinary people's society, the CCP is still pretty powerful and people can easily be deceived by it. However, as Falun Gong practitioners, we can't simply rely on the United States to do something for us. Of course, we shouldn't be afraid of the CCP either.
Everything in this world is firmly controlled by gods and not by any human beings. It is critical that our hearts and attitudes reach the requirements of the Fa on us and we have sufficient and powerful righteous thoughts. If we can do this, gods will help us so we can enter China to conduct the investigation. We can achieve the goal of the Fa rectification only by doing well from the Fa and specifically coordinating well with each other
Falun Dafa practitioners should deny the persecution that the old forces have forced on us. We need to lead the resistance to the persecution. Teacher said in his poem "The Foretelling:"
The Dafa disciples ascend to the heights of the heavens
In control of Heaven and Earth, rectifying the human realm
Everyday people will cooperate with us and assist our efforts against the persecution after they learn the truth.
Currently, as we are actively requesting an investigation of all the forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals, and related facilities in China where practitioners are illegally detained, we are aggressively pressuring the evil, so the CCP doesn't dare to rampantly illegally arrest and detain Dafa practitioners. In other words, we are actively eliminating the remaining evil and stopping the CCP's killing and completely ending this vicious persecution.
Teacher said, "The Fa-rectification will definitely succeed, and Dafa disciples will definitely succeed." (Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Western U.S. Fa conference)
Teacher also said in Hong Yin II, " When the disciples righteous thoughts are sufficient, Master's almighty power can turn the cosmos around." (provisional translation subject to improvement)
During the resistance to the persecution, everything is dependent on practitioners themselves. Dafa practitioners are the pre-eminent people of the current world. No matter how it looks from the superficial world, we need to be in the Fa. Only then, can we truly save sentient beings and validate the Fa.
