(Clearwisdom.net) On March 18, 2006, Shinjin Primary School, Shinying, Tainan County held its 50th anniversary celebration. The Falun Dafa practitioners' waist drum team was invited to participate. The only team from outside the school, the practitioners won unanimous acclaim from the parents and audience, including the county supervisor, the director of the Bureau of Education and legislative committee members. Most of the celebration performers were all students of the primary school. This year, the waist drum team, consisting of young practitioners with eye-catching costumes and excellent performances, deeply impressed the audience.

Around 9:00 a.m., the drum team marched from Chungshan Park of Shinying City into Shinjing Primary School, performing all the way. They were led by three big posters reading, "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and some little "fairies" with lotus flowers and banners worded, "Dafa's mighty fortune comes along with kindness." The parade drew the attention of many people along their way, and people were pleased to take pictures of the performances.
During the drum dancing, the host of the event briefly introduced Falun Dafa, explaining that it has been widely spread in 78 countries worldwide, but only in China is it persecuted by Jiang's group and the Chinese Communist regime. The drum team performed "Falun Dafa is Great" and "Drum and Music Demonstrating Divine Dignity." These two pieces, with the young practitioners' energetic performance, received applause time and time again from the host and the audience. Several parents stated that they were deeply moved by the performance.

The Falun Gong booth was crowded with pupils and parents. While showing visitors how to make folded paper lotus flowers, the practitioners introduced the facts of Falun Gong to the crowd. The celebration ended at 4:00 pm.
