1. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Wang Lei Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor; Holding a Protest Hunger Strike
On November 13, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners Wang Lei and Wang Xiu from Zhoukou City, Henan Province went to Falun Gong practitioner Sun Sulan's home in Zhengzhou City. Police who staked out around Sun's home arrested and put them into Jinshui District Detention Center in Zhengzhou City. Two weeks later, Wang Lei was sentenced to two years of forced labor and put into the notorious Zhengzhou City Baimiao Forced Labor Camp. Wang Lei has already been on a two-month hunger strike to protest the incarceration. The practitioner is in critical condition. Wang Xiu is currently being held in a detention center.
2. [Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Falun Gong Practitioner Tian Fujin Sentenced to Six Years of Imprisonment (Belated News)
In 2001, practitioner Mr. Tian Fujin from the Inner Mongolia AR, in his 50s, was sentenced to six years of imprisonment for practicing Falun Gong. He is still being held in a prison. His six family members are all practitioners, but they were successively arrested.
3. [Shuizhong County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Liu Wanli Sentenced
Practitioner Mr. Liu Wanli was sentenced to four and a half years of imprisonment at the No.1 Criminal Court in Shuizhong County Court. He will be sent to the Shenyang City Prison Complex.
4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Many Practitioners Arrested
On September 6, 2005, over a dozen practitioners were arrested. Some were released. Duan Shengsheng and Ms. Sun Li are still being held.
5. [Danleng County, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Luo Xinzhi Arrested
At around 10:00 a.m. on February 7, 2006, officer Che Jiali from the Danleng County National Security Team led several policemen in a raid. The others included Chen Youlin, Zhou Ying, and Zhang Yin. They went to the house of practitioners Guo Quan and Luo Xinzhi from the Zhonglong Longgeng No.5 Team in Shuangqiao Township. They confiscated Dafa books and arrested 75-year-old practitioner Luo Xinzhi
6. [Beijing] Practitioner Xi Xiulan Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor; Liu Zhenhua Arrested
1) In September 2005, personnel from the Liulitun "610 Office" in the Chaoyang District in Beijing and several policemen arrested practitioner Ms. Xi Xiulan. She has since been sentenced to two years of forced labor and is being held at the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp. "610 Office" personnel and the police still secretly monitor and follow practitioner in that district.
2) On January 17, 2006, police from the Xicheng District in Beijing arrested practitioner Liu Zhenhua from the Chaoyang District. Police have not yet notified Liu's family. It was reported that Liu Zhenhua is currently being held at the Xicheng District Detention Center (Phone number: 86-10-83995445).
7. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Baoding Authorities Attempts to Sentence Three Practitioners
Baoding authorities will attempt to sentence practitioners Zhang Rongjie, Zhi Zhanmin, Wei Haiwu and Liu Yongwang at Xinshi District Court of Baoding City at 8:30 a.m. on February 17, 2006.
8. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Wang Housheng Sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp
In the afternoon of December 30, 2005, personnel from the Yucheng City Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Housheng, an employee of the People's Daily Newspaper, while he was at work. For the past two months his wife and son were forbidden to visit him. Prior to the Chinese New Year, a policeman who participated in his arrest went to the newspaper office and told Wang's family that Wang had been sentenced to forced labor and sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. Wang's supervisors did not show his wife and son the "No. 74 Notification - 2006" until after the Chinese New Year.
Wang Housheng's wife and son then went to the Shandong Province's No. 2 Forced Labor in Wangcun Village, Zibo City. The police there told them, "You are not allowed to visit him as long as he is not reformed."
9. [Sanshui City, Guangdong Province] Personnel from the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp Extend Practitioner Geng Dong's Term for Half a Year
Practitioner Mr. Geng Dong's two and half years forced labor term had expired, but personnel from the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp extended his term for half a year only because he refused to be so-called "reformed" and give up his belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." He will be held at the No. 3 Team, No. 3 Division, Sanshui Farm.
University graduate Geng Dong is from Tianjin. He used to be a volunteer Falun Dafa assistant in charge of Falun Dafa books and materials in Tianjin. After the persecution started, he refused to give in to evildoers and was sentenced to forced labor numerous times, resulting in him being sent to the Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp and a detention center in Tianjin various times. In 2003 he was arrested in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province for taking photographs of fellow practitioners whom the Communist regime agents had tortured. This led to him being sentenced to two years of forced labor. During that period he firmly persisted in his belief and refused to give in. As a result, his term was extended when the two and a-half year term expired.

10. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Practitioner Wei Jianxin Missing Following Arrest for Putting Up Truth-Clarifying New Year Scrolls
Practitioner Mr. Wei Jianxin was arrested four days ago and his whereabouts are unknown currently. His family members are looking for him everywhere.
11. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Jiang Licui and Zhang Guangyun Arrested for Posting Truth-Clarifying Materials
At around 4:30 p.m. on February 11, 2006, police arrested practitioners Ms. Jiang Licui and Zhang Guangyun for posting truth-clarifying materials near the No. 73 Building, East City District, Quanshan Representative Office, Zhaoyuan City. The police vehicle's license number is 1682.
12. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Police Arrest Several Practitioners
Between November 22 and 24, 2005, Xu Hao from Xinglongtai District National Security Team is supposed to have collaborated with Du Huaijun from the District Police Brigade and other policemen and arrested several practitioners, either at home or at work.
On December 6, 2005, six practitioners from Panjin City were arrested and taken to the newly built Panjin City Detention Center and were tortured there. Ms. Su Yan, Liu Shaoman (almost 60 years old, a retired elementary school teacher), Xie Dong, Wu Xuehui, Ms. Zhou Yanhong have already been sentenced to one or two years of forced labor to be served at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Zhou Yanhong suffered from severe torture at the Forced Labor Camp recently and her life is in peril. Her family has taken her back home.
At present, nearly 400 practitioners are being held at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Shao Lihong Suffers Liver-Ascites from Torture at the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp; She has Difficulty Walking
At the beginning of November 2005, police from Jiaohe City arrested practitioner Ms. Shao Lihong from Jiaohe City at home. She was later sentenced to one year of forced labor and taken to the No. 7 Division, the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. Dafa practitioner Ms. Shao Lihong refused to give up cultivation and has been tortured. The torture is so severe that she now suffers from heart disease, liver-ascites, leg edema and has difficulty walking. Camp personnel refused to release her and ordered her husband to sign a statement saying the forced labor camp would not bear any responsibility if her life becomes endangered. Her husband refused to sign. The guards threatened him frequently. Shao Lihong's 80-year-old father is in the terminal stage of lung cancer, and the family is under enormous duress.
14. [Jilin Province] Personnel from the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp Put Practitioners in the Same Cell with a Hepatitis Type B Patient
Personnel from the "Education Team" in the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp put practitioners Zu Yanhe, Zhang Chunxiao, Cui Song, Guo Yingchun and Wang Haijun in the same cell with a patient suffering from hepatitis Type B. They also handcuffed the practitioners.

15. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Chen Guihua and Sun Lan Arrested and Fined for Distributing Falun Dafa Truth-clarifying Materials
During the night of January 24, 2006, chief Ye Nan and several officers from the Zhuanghe's Changling Town Police Department arrested practitioners Ms. Chen Guihua and Ms. Sun Lan from Xingyuan Village, Changling Town. It happened when the two practitioners were distributing truth-clarifying materials at the Lintun Team in Xingyuan Village. Police handcuffed and threatened them for a whole night. Later the town government and police department decided to fine both 5,000 Yuan and release them for the Chinese New Year. In the meantime, police confiscated Dafa books from their homes.
16. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Supplemental Information on the Arrest of more than Thirty Practitioners from Dachang County During Their Appeal
On January 26, 2006, Communist regime agents suspected practitioner Mr. Li Dejun from Ximazhuang Village, Dachang County, Hebei Province of making Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Personnel from the Xianghe County Police Department arrested him on his business trip from Xianghe County. They also ransacked his home and attempted to sentence him. On February 5, Li Dejun's wife and daughter, as well as many practitioners from Dachang County, went to Xianghe County Police Department to ask for Li's release. They waited for a long time to meet with an official; however, policemen from Xianghe County, Dachang County and Langfang City surrounded them. Police held about 30 practitioners against their will. The detained people included Li Dejun's two daughters as well as Li Shuling, Zhu Fengcheng and four practitioners: Liu Cuirong, Liu Shujuan, Zhang Zhiping, and Tian Fengling from Sanhe City. All of the practitioners are still being held.
17. [Shuyang County, Jiangsu Province] Sun Zhuhong and His Wife Ge Hong Arrested
In the morning of February 9, 2006, several policemen and agents from the Shuyang County "610 Office" arrested practitioners Mr. Sun Zhuhong and his wife Ms. Ge Hong and ransacked their home.
18. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ju Yingli Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Ju Yingli, 27 years old, from Fuxin City, Liaoning Province lives in Shiyan Community. She has not returned after leaving home the afternoon of February 12, 2006. It was reported that personnel from the Fuxin City's Hebei Police Station have already arrested her. An officer surnamed He is personally involved in the arrest.
19. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Chen Jiawei Arrested
On February 4, 2006, practitioner Mr. Chen Jiawei from the Fangzi District in Weifang City was arrested. He is currently being held at the Weifang City Detention Center. Police authorities threatened that they would sentence him to three years of forced labor if he would not be reformed.

Practitioner Cao Shunting is a teacher at the Qianying's Lihao Elementary School. On February 4, 2006, when Cao Shunting went back to school on duty, principal Wen You demanded Cao write a guarantee statement to give up Falun Gong practice. Cao Shunting refused, so Wen You reported Cao to the Qianying Police Station. Later, personnel from the station sent Cao into the Fengnan District Detention Center.
22. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Several Practitioners Put into a Detention Center
On January 25, 2006, officers from the National Security Section in the Hantai District Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. Zhang Liping from Hanzhong City and put her into Hantai District Detention Center. They also ransacked her home and confiscated a computer and some other equipment. Police additionally forced her to reveal information about other practitioners.
In early January 2006, police arrested practitioners Zheng Keming, Zhang Lianzhen and Li Yulan from Nanzheng County and put them into the County Detention Center. The arrest happened as the practitioners were putting up Falun Dafa posters in Fa Town. The county Political and Judiciary Committee secretary and personnel from the "610 Office" publicly slandered Dafa and rewarded the person that reported the practitioners to police.
23. [Puyang City, Henan Province] Practitioner Song Guizhen and Her Husband Zhang Huaixuan Arrested and Their Home Ransacked
A patrolling policeman spotted several practitioners on February 10, 2006. They are: Ms. Song Guizhen, Li Tiange and Jiang Penghua from Xingyuan Village, Jindegu Township, Nanle County, Puyang City, Henan Province, who had been distributing truth-clarifying materials to farmers in Zhaozhuang Village. Song Guizhen was arrested. That same day, a group of police broke into and ransacked the homes of these three practitioners. They arrested Song Guizhen's husband, practitioner Mr. Zhang Huaixuan. Zhang Huaixuan and his wife have been transferred to the Nanle County Detention Center. At around 3:00 p.m. on February 11, personnel from the Jindegu Township Police Station colluded with some officers from the county police department and with the village security head. These people ransacked the homes of the three practitioners again. The practitioners' families suffered some economic losses and their children were frightened.
Policemen involved in the arrest are Ding Guozhu and Yao Jinfeng from Jindegu Township; Gao Hongwei, Yuan Jingchao, Li Guoqiang and others from the county police department.
24. [Tianjin] Practitioner Zhang Guangfu Arrested after more than Five Years of Living in Exile
Mr. Zhang Guangfu has lived in exile since the end of 2000. On February 5, 2006, personnel from the "610 Office" and the National Security Team in Langfang City, Hebei Province arrested Zhang. The arrest happened in Xianghe County, Hebei Province. The officials put him into the Criminal Team at the city's Anci Police Department. Police beat and severely injured Zhang. On February 6, personnel from the Wuqing District Police Department transferred him to the district detention center, designating this as criminal detention.
Zhang Guangfu's wife Liu Shuping has been tormented and abused in the Tianjin's Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp for over five years. Her term has been extended several times. January 1, 2006 was to be her release date. Her family went to pick her up, but her detention term was extended by four months. The reason given was Zhang's protest hunger strike. In actuality, personnel from the Wuqing District Political and Judiciary Committee, a.k.a. the "610 Office," requested the Banqiao Forced Labor Camp extend Liu's detention term.
Their daughter Zhang Xinwen was only twelve or thirteen years old on July 20, 1999. She witnessed the police coming to arrest her mother or father several times and was often frightened. Since then, she has seldom been able to see them.

26. [Tangshan County, Anhui Province] Six Practitioners Arrested
Immediately prior to the Lunar New Year, Duan Liwei and other personnel from the Tangshan County "610 Office" in Anhui Province arrested at least six practitioners, including Yan Jianmin. Some of them were sent to a forced labor camp a few days later, and some were fined several thousand yuan.
27. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Arrest of Practitioner Liu Huihai
At about 5:00 a.m. on February 8, 2006, four policemen arrested practitioner Liu Huihai from Liu's home in Minzhu Village, Qianjin Township.
28. [Pi County, Sichuan Province] Huayuan Town Government Personnel Beat Practitioners Tang Jiaxiu and Diao Yunqing
Tang Jiaxiu and Diao Yunqing are practitioners from Zhuwa Village, Tangchang Town, Pi County, Sichuan Province. They went to the Huayuan Town Fair on January 9, 2006. Officials Wu Kangyuan and Fan Angui from the town government beat them savagely. Falun Dafa practitioner Tang Jiaxiu, in her 60s, was covered with bruises. She sustained an injury to one of her eyes and had blurred vision. Policemen from Tangchang Town also illegally interrogated them. Tang Jiaxiu is bedridden at present from her injuries.

During the morning of December 12, 2005, practitioners Liao Daying and Li Tingfang were reported to police because they clarified the truth on their way to the Longfeng Town Fair. At 10:00 a.m., several officers from the Nanqiang Town Police Station arrested them. They took them to the station and later transferred them to the Suining City Police Department. Policemen also ransacked Li Tingfang's house.
