(Clearwisdom.net) Policemen from Xinhe Village, Miyi County, Sichuan Province, have broken into Dafa disciples' homes and committed burglary on several occasions. The following are only a sample of the evil deeds that have been carried out in the persecution of Falun Gong in this area.
On December 14, 2005, when Falun Gong practitioners in my hometown (the majority being elderly people) were practicing the exercises together, we were reported to the authorities by the village chief Xu Xiaojian. Around 10:00 a.m. the County Political and Judicial Committee, Public Security Bureau, National Security Team, 610 Office, the town government police station, and the county security team sent out more than ten cars. They broke into the home of Guo Huibing, an elderly practitioner whose house was the site of our group exercise practice. Several practitioners were beaten up, 35 people were arrested and 32 practitioners were subjected to house arrest at the Touzhan Village government, where they were forced to undergo four days of brainwashing. Before they would be released, practitioners had to write "guarantee statements," give their fingerprints, sign their names, and pay fines. Some of them were even new practitioners and were detained for 28 days before being released. On the same day, several other practitioners' houses were broken into and ransacked as well. One television, 350 yuan, three cassette players, Teacher's portrait, a picture of a Falun, one set of Teacher's Fa-lectures in Guangzhou, an exercise instruction video, one VCD player, five sets of cassettes of Teacher's Fa-lectures in Jinan, four sets of exercise music, a copy of Zhuan Falun as well as all other Dafa books and "truth-clarification" materials, CDs and other materials were all taken away from Guo Huibing's house. The total value of the confiscated items was 3,585 "yuan", in addition to 350 yuan cash.
Mr. Guo's daughter-in-law, Ms. Zheng Shangbi, obtained the Fa in 1996. After beginning to cultivate, her health and her family benefited tremendously. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Ms. Zheng went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and clarify the truth. She has been imprisoned in the detention center three times in the past six years. Due to her strong perseverance in cultivating, Zheng Shangbi became one of the top targets of persecution in Xinhe Village. Whenever a "sensitive date" arrived, the 610 Office and town police station sent people to her place to threaten and harass her. Over the past six years of persecution, Ms. Zheng has suffered tremendously, both physically and mentally. At 11:30 p.m. on February 1, 2005, county policemen Xu Xing and Mao Taining, Zhou Chaokun's gang from the Binggu County government, Yang Bing, Leng Jie and Li Xiaogang of the Binggu County Police Station, village party secretary Xu Xiaojian and village society chief Huang Guangshun--totalling more than 10 men--came to Ms. Zheng's house, knocked down her door, and broke into her place without any warrant. They took her to the Miyi Detention Center, imprisoned her for a month and illegally fined her 200 yuan,
After returning from work in the fields on the afternoon of December 14, a practitioner couple found their house door torn down, their door locks forced open, table drawers smashed, shelf locks cut open, and every room on every floor of the building ransacked. A VCD player, a sound system, two cassette players, one chest, two bags, three backpacks, two night lamps, Teacher's portrait, a picture of a Falun, one set of Teacher's Fa-lectures in Dalian, an exercise instruction video, two sets of Teacher's Fa-lectures in Jinan cassette tapes, thirteen sets of exercise music, Zhuan Falun as well as all other Dafa books and truth-clarification materials and CDs were all taken away. Eighty-five yuan in cash was stolen. Total loss from the break-in came to 3,328 yuan, plus 200 yuan in fines paid earlier.
Practitioners Chen Xishun and Li Huizhen also had their home broken into. Teacher's Fa-lecture cassette tapes, videotapes, Dafa books, and 250 yuan in cash were taken. The couple was also illegally fined 200 yuan.
Since 2005, Ms. Zhou Ying's family home has been broken into twice. All her Dafa books, audiotapes, videotapes, and exercise music were all taken away. She was also fined 200 yuan.
Li Xueju's family also lost a cassette player, a set of Teacher's Fa-lecture cassette tapes, one copy of Zhuan Falun, two copies of Essentials for Further Advancement, and three sets of exercise music. They were fined 200 yuan. All the illegally arrested practitioners in this area were fined between 60 to 200 yuan.
