(Clearwisdom.net) On December 24, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Japan held a group practice in a park in Saitama-ken County and then conducted a two-hour parade. The waist drum team led the parade and the dance of the celestial maidens came at the end. Practitioners held banners that read, "Falun Dafa is good," "Immediately stop the CCP’s atrocities" and "Thoroughly investigate the persecution" as well as posters introducing Falun Gong and "clarifying the facts."

Practitioners from the capital region of Aichi and Nagano Counties participated in the activity. After group practice in a park, the parade began. The procession passed by busy business streets and arrived at its destination, a park near the railway station. It was the practitioners’ first parade in the local area, and it caught the attention of many people. Young practitioners distributed flyers. Two young Japanese university students asked the practitioners, "Where can we join you to practice the exercises?" Mr. Zhang kindly told them about the practice sites and welcomed them to join.
