2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Liu Hongwei and Mu Ping Illegally Arrested, Their Home Ransacked by National Security Officers
On the morning of October 24, 2006, plainclothes police arrested Mr. Liu Hongwei and Mr. Mu Ping when conducting business at the Chaoyang District local tax office and national tax office in Changchun City. Their homes were ransacked. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Practitioner Mr. Lin Xiaoquan, 42 years old, is from Team No. 6 Qingshi Village, Xinjia Township, Xindu District, Chengdu City. On July 28, 2005, local police arrested Lin Xiaoquan at home. He was detained at the Xinjin Brainwashing Center. Ten days later, Mr. Lin was taken to Xindu District Detention Center and imprisoned for nearly seven months. On February 23, 2006, the Xindu Court sentenced him to a three-year term. Lin Xiaoquan is now detained at Deyang No. 95 Factory.

4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Li Guirong and Luo Siying Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Li Guirong, 64, is from Heping District, Shenyang City. Staff from the Heping District Public Security Sub-bureau illegally arrested her on October 20, 2006, and took her to Zaohua Detention Center.
Practitioner Ms Luo Siying, around 54, from Dadong District, Shenyang City, lives close to No. 28 High School. Staff from Heping District Public Security Sub-bureau arrested her on October 24, 2006.

After 7:00 a.m. on October 18, 2006, staff from the city public security bureau arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Lou Fenquin secretly. She worked at a hotel at the time. At the same time, staff from the bureau waited for her daughter outside of Ms. Lou's home. They claimed to be looking for her registered permanent address. They confiscated Teacher’s picture, Dafa books, and truth-clarification flyers.

10. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Zhang Lifeng and Five Other Practitioners Arrested
At 8:00 p.m. on October 25, 2006, police from the local Beijie Police Station broke into the home of practitioner Mr. Zhang Lifeng and took him to the police station. Zhang Lifeng is now detained at Jinzhou City No. 1 Detention Center.
Practitioners Ms. Ju Xiaomei, Mr. Liu Guang, Mr. Qu Kai, Mr. Zhang Bo and Mr. Xiao Jiang were also arrested. These five practitioners were all detained.

12. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Gao Wenmin Sentenced to a Four-Year Term
Around 9:30 p.m. on April 13, 2006, two police officers from the Xi District Public Security Sub-bureau in Panzhihua City illegally arrested Mining Bureau practitioner Mr. Gao Wenmin and ransacked his home. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and copies of "Minghui Weekly." Mr. Gao was later taken to the Xi District Public Security Sub-bureau. The two policemen handcuffed Mr. Gao's hands behind his back and hung him up. They tortured him during the interrogation. They took turns beating and kicking him continuously until noon the next day. Mr. Gao was hung up and beaten for 14 hours.
In September 2006, the Xi District People’s Court in Panzhihua City held a secret trial and sentenced Gao Wenmin to a four-year prison term.
13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Aimin Arrested
After 7:00 a.m. on October 24, 2006, police from the local Kaixuan Road Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Aimin of Tiebei, Kuancheng District, Changchun City at home. Police from the local Liuying Road Police Station also arrested his sister-in-law.
14. [Tsitsihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners at Tailai Prison
In August 2004, guards from Tailai Prison tried to "transform" detained practitioners. They wanted to force them to write the three statements. To achieve "transformation," they built custom-made torture instruments according to each practitioners' size. They shackled practitioners’ hands and feet around the clock for three days and nights. These practitioners were unable to move. They put 14-kilogram foot shackles on some practitioners' feet, shackled their hands with copper rings tighter than handcuffs, and hung them up outside, with both feet off the ground. At the same time, an over one-meter long iron rod was tied between their ankles. They were hung from the beds in their cells for several days. On August 15, an electric current killed a practitioner.

On October 11, 2006, police officer Huang Lizhu from the local Huangqi Village Police Station in Jilin City ransacked the home of practitioner Ms. Li Fengxia and arrested her. She was detained at the local police station for seven hours, and then taken to Baishan Detention Center.

Around 10:00 a.m. on October 11, 2006, police arrested Panshi City practitioner Mr. Xu Xiaoming. He was on his way to work. Police officers went to his home, arrested his wife Ms. Wu Shuqin, and ransacked the home. Ms. Wu Shuqin is now detained at Xishan Detention Center in Panshi.

17. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Haiyan Seized
At around 4:30 p.m. on October 25, 2006, police from the local Dafangshen Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Haiyan of Wanqianfu Village, Dalian City, and took her to the Huanbao Hotel in Dalian City for persecution.

On June 7, 2006, Li County practitioner Mr. Cui Xiongfa was arrested at Gaobeidian. On October 26, 2006, Cui Xiongfa was sentenced to one year of forced labor.
20. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Yang Wenjie and Zhao Yuhong Detained at Zhaoyuan City Brainwashing Center
At the end of September 2006, staff from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office took practitioners Ms. Yang Wenjie and Ms. Zhao Yuhong of Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province from Wangcun No. 2 Women’s Forced Labor Camp in Shandong, to the Linglong Brainwashing Center in Zhaoyuan City for further persecution.
Yang Wenjie is over 40 years old. Because she remains steadfast in living by the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," staff from the Zhaoyuan City Public Security Bureau, the 610 Office, and police from the local police station have arrested her many times. She suffered cruel torture. In April 2002, staff from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office arrested Ms. Yang and sentenced her to three years of forced labor. She was detained at the Shandong Province No. 2 Women’s Forced Labor Camp. On September 22, 2006, staff from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office took Yang Wenjie back to the Linglong Brainwashing Center.
Zhao Yuhong is over 50. She has been imprisoned for almost all of the past seven years. She suffered cruel torture at the hands of staff from the Zhaoyuan City Public Security Bureau and 610 Office, as well as by police from the Mengzhi Local Police Station. She lost consciousness from being hung up several times. Ms. Zhao was sentenced to three years of forced labor in March 2000, and suffered persecution at Shandong Women’s Forced Labor Camp until she suffered a mental collapse. She was released at that time. Later, Zhao Yuhong was again arrested by staff from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office and sentenced to a four-year term. She is detained at Shandong Women’s Prison. Her term was over on March 18, 2006, but staff from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office sentenced her to another one-and-a-half years of forced labor. They took her to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo. At the end of September, staff from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office took Zhao Yuhong from Wangcun Forced Labor Camp to Linglong Brainwashing Center in Zhaoyuan City for further detention.

21. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Liu Jiwei Seized
Practitioner Mr. Liu Jiwei of Laixi City, Shandong Province is around 50 years old. Police from the local Qingdao Police Station in Laixi City arrested him around 7:30 a.m. on October 24, 2006. His home was ransacked. Mr. Liu is currently detained at Laixi City Detention Center.
