(Clearwisdom.net) On November 19, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners from San Diego and Los Angeles participated in the 60th Mother Goose Parade in El Cajon, California, for the first time. This is the largest parade in San Diego area. Falun Dafa brought the blessing of "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance" to the spectators. One of the parade organizers said, "When you came, the whole crowd calmed down. Next year, we will let you lead the parade."

Lotus flower float is very attractive to spectators
Falun Gong waist drum troupe is warmly welcomed for its rich eastern culture
140 groups participated in the parade and thousands of spectators packed two and a half miles along the parade route.
The waist drum troupe led the Falun Dafa procession. Over fifty drum players dressed in golden yellow exercise suites played "Falun Dafa is good". The sound of the drums was awesome and the spectators chanted, "It's beautiful!" "Wonderful". A lady in her 40's was moved to tears. She knelt down on one leg and pressed her hands together to salute the Falun Dafa procession.
Behind the drummers were the "Heavenly Maidens" and "Lotus Flower Float". On the float, there was a large pink lotus flower with transparent pink textile petals. Among the flowers at the front part of the float, five practitioners of different ages from both east and west demonstrated the exercises. Five young practitioners dressed in Tang Dynasty costumes danced in the music. It was so peaceful that when the float was passing the stage, the host stood up and repeated "peace" "peace" many times. Spectators along the street raised their cameras and camcorders to record this peaceful and beautiful scenery.
When the float was in front of the stage, the host spoke to the microphone, "Here is Falun Dafa, a peaceful exercise that teaches Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance..." One of the organizers said to a practitioner, "Before you came, the crowd was noisy. When you appeared, the noises were gone. The whole environment became peaceful. Next year, we will let you lead the parade."
The Falun Dafa procession won the "Princess Award" of the parade. The practitioners not only shared Chinese traditional culture with Americans, but also brought the beauty of Falun Dafa to these people. The parade is also broadcast to television viewers in the region and brought the blessings of "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance" to many more people.
