Mr. Zhang Yong and his wife Ms. Lou Xianghong, Falun Dafa practitioners from Chengde of Hebei Province have been destitute and homeless because of the persecution since 2002. On September 25, 2006, police from Fangshan, Beijing arrested Mr. Zhang Yong. On October 1, 2006, he was taken to Dalaohugou Detention Center in the city of Chengde where he is detained at this time. Mr. Zhang Yong has been on hunger strike ever since he was arrested.

Ms. Liu Xiaorong is now detained and suffers persecution in the Women's Prison of Hebei Province. She has been on hunger strike for more than two months.

Mr. Li Mingtao, 35 years old, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Handan was arrested on Aug 25, 2001. After being detained in the No. 1 Detention Center of Handan city for two years and three months, he was given another heavy sentence and taken to No. 4 Prison of Shijiazhuang for further persecution. In the No. 4 Prison, guard Jun Zhao ordered criminals to put nails through Mr. Li Mingtao's hands. Besides this he suffered forced brainwashing. He suffers relentless torture and the torture instruments have not been removed.

On October 4, 2006, Dafa practitioners, Mr. Han Shuang and Ms. Fengbo An went to visit their relatives who reside in Jiangnan, Jilin Province. While they were clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa to them, they were overheard and reported by Chief Secretary of the local government, Li Yuwen and Deputy Chief Secretary, Yan Zijiang. Around midnight on October 4, Ms. An Fengbo was arrested by the police from the Huashan Road Police Bureau. The police broke into and ransacked their house.

6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Tian Genghai Is Force-Fed

Mr. Tian Genghai from Dalian, Liaoning, is now detained in the No. 6 Squad of the No. 1 Ward of Panjin Prison. He has been on hunger strike for nearly 50 days to resist the persecution and illegal detention. He is forced-fed three times daily. Mr. Tian Genghai has become very weak and he walks unsteadily now. He is very pale and does not even have the strength to speak. The prison does not allow his family to visit him.

7. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Jiang Yan's House Ransacked

Around 6: 40 p.m. on October 1, 2006, two staff members from the State Protection Squad of Dehui broke into Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Yan's house in Baisong Village. They planned to arrest her, but Jiang Yan was not home. They then ransacked her house and confiscated Dafa books, practicing music audiotapes, a box of fax paper, a language study machine, a cell phone, a knife, a pair of pliers and other items.

10. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Shaofa Arrested - His Brother and Sister Beaten

On September 15, 2006, while making a delivery to Zhongcun, Mr. Wang Shaofa, a Dafa practitioner from Zhaoyuan, Shandong was arrested by a gang led by Li Jianguang from the State Security Squad of Zhaoyuan. He was taken to Linglong Brainwashing Center in Zhaoyuan.

On the morning of September 27, Mr. Wang Shaofa's brother and sister (they are not Falun Gong practitioners) went to Linglong Brainwashing Center to bring Mr. Wang Shaofa some clothes. They asked to see Mr. Wang Shaofa but their request was refused. Mr. Wang's brother and sister tried to reason with them for their rights, but were beaten up until they lost consciousness. After they woke up, Mr. Wang's brother was dragged to a vehicle, which took him to Linglong Police Bureau and was released just before nightfall.

Around September 20, 2006, Mr. Du Fengguang, Dafa practitioner from Hujiawang Village of Baoquan County of Anqiu was arrested and taken to Baoquan Police Station when he was collecting waste and used items.

13. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Ms. Ni Hong and Ms. Shi Geng Secretly Arrested

On September 28, 2006, Ms. Ni Hong, Ms. Shi Geng, two Dafa practitioners from Gaocun, Wendeng, Weihai city of Shandong province were arrested by plain-clothes police. Their material site was destroyed.

15. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Evidence of the Practitioners Being Persecuted by the 610 Office

Before October 1, 2096, Li Hongwei from the 610 Office of Xuchang, and four others broke into and ransacked Ms. Cheng Yanhua's house. They confiscated an MP3 player, a copy of Zhuan Falun and a book of Teacher's new articles.

Ever since June, around 10 persons led by Sun Lina from the 610 Office ransacked several Dafa practitioners' houses in Xuchang. The targeted practitioners include Ms. Lu Yanjun, Ms. Li Linying, Ms. Fan Jinzhi. They illegally searched their houses. Now Lu Yanjun, Li Linying and Fan Jinzhi are homeless and destitute.

16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Huandi Sentenced to Forced Labor

Ms. Li Huandi, a Dafa practitioner from Hanyang district of Han City in Hubei province, 50, used to live in Hanyang city. On May 6, 2006, someone reported her for distributing truth-clarifying materials in a supermarket. She was arrested and taken to Dongxihu Detention Center. She was detained for 15 days. After she was released, she was arrested again in mid-July and illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor. The truth-clarifying materials and her equipment were all confiscated.

17. [Beijing] Mr. Liu Dehua's Whereabouts Unknown

On September 29, 2006, Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Dehua was arrested at his home. His whereabouts are unknown.

18. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Xifu Arrested

On September 25, 2006, Mr. Li Xifu, Dafa practitioner from the city of Taiyuan, Shanxi Province was reported when clarifying the truth. The police arrested him.

19. [Qingyuan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Chunhua Sentenced to Forced Labor

On September 4, 2006, Dafa practitioners Mr. Wang Ju and Ms. Li Chunhua from Weicun Town of Qingyuan County were arrested by staff from the local State Security Squad and Weicun Police Station. Their house was ransacked. They are detained at a local brainwashing center. Later Mr. Wang Ju was forced to pay 2,000 yuan before being released. Ms. Li Chunhua was taken to Baoding Forced Labor Camp.

20. [Jincheng City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Xu Yanbo Sentenced to a Four-Year Prison Term

Mr. Xu Yanbo, in his fifty's, is from the city of Jincheng, Shanxi Province. He was arrested and taken to Zezhou County Detention Center in March 2, 2006. He was sentenced to four years in prison on September 21, 2006.

21. [Hubei Province] Guards at Qinduankou Prison Cruelly Torture Practitioners

Guards at Qinduankou Prison of Hubei persecute Falun Gong practitioners cruelly. When practitioners arrive at the prison, criminals under the command of the guards beat them in an effort to "transform" them. There was one practitioner who was on a hunger strike. He was held in isolation. The guards forced him to stand in front of the wall with outstretched arms. Then the guards kicked his abdomen.

Another practitioner is also persecuted inhumanly in an isolation cell. He was forced to hit his head against the wall. As a result, his head was injured.

Mr. Zhou Jiangang, another practitioner, became paralyzed from the persecution. His neck bones were broken.

22. [Ji'an City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhou Houxun Arrested

Mr. Zhou Houxun, a practitioner from Ji'an has been arrested several times because he practices Falun Gong.

In June, 2000, Mr. Zhou Houxun went to Tiananmen Square to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa. He was arrested and released seven days after he was detained. Officials at his working unit and Sun Bo, Secretary of the 610 Office of Ji'an City tried to force Mr. Zhou Houxun to write the statements to give up the practice. Mr. Zhou Houxun refused and was therefore detained for another month.

In January, 2002, Kong Xianchao, the head of the local police station, Zhang Yubo and others broke into and ransacked his house. They confiscated his Dafa books and arrested him. They sentenced him to one-and-a-half years of forced labor. When he was in the forced labor camp, he was held in an isolation cell, beaten, and shocked with electric batons. They also extended his term for two more months. He was beyond recognition because of the persecution. His wife couldn't take the pressure of the persecution and divorced him.

On the noon of November 30, 2004, the police officers from the police station broke into Mr. Zhou's house again. They confiscated his Dafa books, truth clarifying materials and other items. Again Mr. Zhou Houxun was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor.

23. [Baise City, Guangxi Province] Practitioners Mr. Xu Zhongquan and Ms. Zhang Suxue Arrested

About seven or eight policemen from Baise, Guangxi guarded the entrance of Dafa practitioners' houses. At around 6 p.m., on September 21, 2006, they arrested Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Zhongquan. On September 27, Ms. Zhang Suxue was also arrested. Their houses were ransacked.

24. [Chongqing City] Practitioner Mr. Gu Xianglin Arrested

In May, 2004, Mr. Gu Xianglin, Dafa practitioner from Fuhuan Town, Qijiang County, Chongqing City, was arrested by Qin Maosheng, the Head of Fuhuan Police Station, because he was posting up and distributing truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Gu Xianglin walked out of detention with righteous thoughts that night.

On June 6, 2005, Mr. Gu Xiangli was arrested again by police officers from Fuhuan Police Station and taken to Fuhuan Police Station. Later, Office Chief Secretary of Regional Administration Office, Xie Chongyou, took him to the Jijiang Detention Center and detained him. One month later, he was taken to Xishanping Forced Labor Camp where he suffers persecution.

25. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Lin Lixia Arrested

Around September 23, 2006, staff from the Futian 610 Office and state security police from Shenzhen arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Lin Lixia. They sent Ms. Lin to a brainwashing center located in Shenzhen for persecution.

26. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Ms. Zhao Tengdi, Ms. Zhou Yan, and Ms. Zhu Baohua Arrested

In early September 2006, Ms. Zhao Tengdi, Dafa practitioner from Zaozhuang, Shandong, was using a 20-yuan note with "Heaven Will Eliminate the CCP" written on it. Because of this, she was reported and then arrested. Two weeks later, Ms. Zhou Yan and Ms. Zhu Baohua were also arrested.

27. [Beijing] Practitioner Mr. Liu Kuo Arrested

Mr. Liu Kuo, Dafa practitioner, is a recently admitted student at Beijing Peili Technology Institute. He was clarifying the truth and was reported. On September 29, police from the Haidian Branch Office of Beijing Police Station arrested him on campus. He is detained at Haidian Detention Center of Beijing.

28. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioners Arrested on October 1, "National Mourning Day"

During October 1, the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) National Day, which many are now referring to as "National Mourning Day"(mourning the day the wicked CCP officially took over Mainland China), Shenzhen police again arrested Dafa practitioners. Mr. Guo Xiongbin, Ms. Ye Fengxia, Ms. Feng Liping and other Dafa practitioners from Longhua, Baoan who had attended a small scale Fa conference in Baoan before October 1. More than 10 policemen surrounded them and took many Dafa practitioners to Baoan Detention Center. One Dafa practitioner's vehicle and over 10 thousands yuan, which was to be used to purchase merchandise were robbed by the police. Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Lixue's house was ransacked. She was also arrested and taken to Baoan Detention Center.

Young practitioner Ms. Wang who is from Liantang, Shenzhen lost her purse not long ago. The thief who took her purse found Dafa truth-clarifying materials in it and reported this to the police. Before October 1, her house was ransacked. Lots of truth-clarifying materials were confiscated. Ms. Chen was arrested and taken to Luohu Detention Center.
