Macao practitioners clarify the truth to tourists
(Clearwisdom.net) In the middle of January 2006, a tourist came to our truth-clarification site at a local tourist attraction. She said, "Clarifying the truth at tourist attractions is very good and very important. I am also a Dafa practitioner." She then briefly told us a story. In her hometown, Hunan Province, there was a veteran member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) serving as the local party secretary. While he is a good man from everyday people's standards and he didn't like the party much, he always tried to argue for the party and find reasons for not quitting the party. He recently came to Macao on a sightseeing trip. When he went back to China, he found some local practitioners and told them about his trip to Macao: "At the Dasanba tourist attraction, there were Falun Gong practitioners clarifying the truth." He saw truth-clarifying photos about the persecution of Falun Gong and information about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He sensed the sincerity and compassion of those practitioners. In contrast to the propaganda of the CCP, this experience made him understand that Falun Gong is aboveboard, righteous and that practitioners are good people. He said, "The CCP is evil and I want to withdraw from it."
On the afternoon of January 25, there were not many tourists. However, many of them were willing to accept the practitioners' materials. There was a well-dressed middle-aged couple. They studied the truth-clarifying photos of Falun Gong and the Nine Commentaries for a long time. Before they left, a practitioner handed a copy of the Nine Commentaries to them. They took out a copy of the booklet to show that they already had one and said, "Very good, very good! You have worked very hard." They politely bade farewell to the practitioners and left. After a little while, the wife came back and asked for another copy of the Nine Commentaries. She said that her husband was a professor. "We all know the truth and understand the situation. We support you," she said.
