Anqiu City Police Persecute Falun Gong Practitioner Su Baoli and Extort Money from Her Family

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Su Baoli, 34 years old, is from Ligucheng Village, Wangjiazhuang Township, Anqiu City, Shandong Province. Su Baoli was transferred over a period of time between the Anqiu Detention Center, the Wangcun Women's Labor Camp and the Weifang Brainwashing Center for persecution. It is unclear where she is at present. Su Baoli's non-practitioner husband was browbeaten by the police and extorted for over 40,000 yuan. The persecution has been a disaster for the entire family.

After the persecution started on July 20, 1999, police officers Han Fuben, Li Jingbo and another officer from the Wangjiazhuang Police Station illegally arrested Su. Ms. Su was illegally imprisoned in the local police station for persecution and later compelled to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid another arrest. On October 28, 2002, Anqiu City 610 Office agents Li Shenghua and Jia Zaijun arrested her again and detained her in the Anqiu City Detention Center for over 60 days. The police also extorted 30,000 yuan from her family. Su Baoli's husband Li Yongkun borrowed the money from relatives and friends to pay, but it was still not enough. Finally, Li was forced to sell all the wheat the family had left, and the police ended up confiscating the whole sum.

On March 15, 2005, police from Anqiu City and Wangjiazhuang Township arrested Su Baoli again, and her home was ransacked. She was detained in the Anqiu Detention Center, where she went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. The captors handcuffed her onto a metal chair and force-fed her. Soon her life was in peril after a one-month period of abuse. Anqiu City "610 Office" agents Zhang Jinxiao and Li Shenghua tried to get her husband to pay more money through extortion. They told Su Baoli's husband that he must immediate pay 10,000 yuan for his wife's release; otherwise, Su Baoli would be sent to a labor camp.

Su Baoli's husband, facing multiple extortions from the Anqiu police, felt helpless. He wanted to bail out his wife so that their six-year-old child would not be without her mother, and to spare Su Baoli more suffering in the labor camp. He asked for loans from relatives in the amount of 10,000 yuan. On March 14, he gave the money to the agents at the Anqiu City 610 Office.

After the Anqiu City 610 Office received the 10,000 yuan extortion money from Su Baoli's husband, the Wangjiazhuang Township police sent Su Baoli, whose life was in critical danger by this time, to the Shandong Wang Village Women's Labor Camp. It was April 15, 2005.

The Shandong Wang Village Women's Labor Camp initially refused to accept Ms. Su after the physical examination. Then, the Anqiu police bribed the officials at the Shandong Wang Village Women's Labor Camp with 2,000 yuan to accept her.

By the end of October 2005, the Anqiu City Wangjiazhuang Township Police Station officials came to the camp and secretly transferred Su Baoli, who persisted in her belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" to the Weifang Brainwashing Center. There they attempted to carry out more inhuman persecution.

Around December 20, 2005, Anqui police officials informed Su Baoli's husband that his wife "had completed the procedure" and was released. Su Baoli's husband searched for her around the homes of relatives and friends but could not find her. He went to the Anqiu City 610 Office with their six-year-old daughter, asking to know Su Baoli's whereabouts and demanding to have the extorted 10,000 yuan returned. Agent Zhang Jinxiao and others said that Su Baoli had escaped from Weifang Brainwashing Center. When Su Baoli's husband asked for his money back, agent Zhang Jinxiao and others dodged the demand. Later they even threatened to put him into the detention center. One of the agents kicked Su Baoli's husband's leg twice and frightened the six-year-old child.

After Su Baoli's husband and the six-year-old daughter got home from the 610 Office, the child became really frightened. She asked for her mom every day. Sometimes even late at night she asked to call her mom on the phone. To make it possible for their daughter to see her mother as soon as possible, Su Baoli's husband called many agencies: the Anqiu City 610 Office, the Anqiu Police Station and the Weifang City mayor's hot line. So far this has not gotten him anywhere. Su Baoli's husband and daughter's situation is quite miserable. They still do not know Su Baoli's whereabouts.

Below are the names of lawless officials and police in Anqiu who are still participating in the persecution of Dafa practitioners and Su Baoli's family:

Wang Naiping: male, about 56 years old, from Jingzhi Township, Anqiu City, Shandong Province. He is the municipal Party committee deputy secretary in charge of the public security organs, procuratorial organs and courts. He was the former Anqiu City Political and Legal Committee secretary and was appointed on July 20, 1999, when Falun Gong was officially suppressed. He got the position of Anqiu Municipal Party Committee deputy secretary in 2004, which he still holds. Over this more than six-year period he has personally organized, monitored, and implemented the persecution of Dafa practitioners. All cases of monitoring, harassment, confiscating family's property, imprisonment, brainwashing, fines, reeducation through labor sentencing and those sentences that led to death are traceable to Wang Naiping. In his suppression of those practitioners who go to Beijing to petition for Falun Gong, he had frequently emphasized during persecution meetings, "We must closely monitor Falun Gong practitioners! Various units must be on the top level of alertness. The units lacking in manpower may hire security guards!" Wang Naiping is the person in Anqiu City who is primarily responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Wang Jihuai: male, about 46 years old, is from Shandong Province's Shouguang City. He is the former Municipal Party Committee deputy secretary, a position he held when Jiang Zemin's group cracked down on Falun Gong on July 20, 1999. In 2002, he was appointed mayor of Anqiu, a position he holds today. Wang Jihuai has closely followed Jiang in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Wang Jihuai holds a major responsibility for the persecution of Dafa practitioners and their implicated family members.

Xu Hua: male, about 40 years old, Anqiu City Political and Legal Committee secretary. He personally organized and implemented the persecution of Dafa practitioners.

Wang Ziqing: male, about 40 years old, deputy secretary of Anqiu City Political and Legal Committee. His other appointments include director of the Anqiu municipal party committee 610 Office, and the Anqiu anti-cult association president. Wang Ziqing is the second director of Anqiu City 610 Office. Since 2001, he has worked as director of the 610 Office.

Song Yunqing: male, about 43 years old. He has been the deputy director of Anqiu Municipal Public Security Bureau for over six years. His main responsibility is persecuting Falun Gong and Dafa practitioners. He is one of the main instigators of the persecution in Anqiu.

Cheng Shuping: male, 43 years old, deputy director of Anqiu Municipal Public Security Bureau. He was appointed section chief of the Anqiu Municipal Public Security Bureau (the Public Security Bureau is one of the main government agencies that oversee the persecution of Falun Gong) in Anqiu when Falun Gong was banned. When lecturing on suppressing the Falun Gong practitioners who go to the capital to validate Dafa, he once roared, "Jiang Zemin is incompetent! That does not mean I am incompetent. I do not believe that I could not eradicate several Falun Gongs!" Cheng Shuping worked diligently to persecute Falun Gong and was awarded "third class achievement" awards twice in 1999.
