1. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liang Yunqing Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Liang Yunqing, age 61, suffered from lymphatic cancer before he started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. After undergoing chemotherapy, he lost almost all of his hair. Because he is from a poor family, he ran out of money for further treatment. Just at that time, he began to learn Falun Dafa and miraculously regained his health. After the persecution of Falun Dafa started on July 20, 1999, Mr. Liang was brutally beaten and detained repeatedly. Mr. Liang lived in a small village, together with a younger brother and his elderly mother, who is bedridden because of paralysis.
On the evening of December 24, 2005, Practitioner Mr. Liang, who is from Zhuoshan Village, Haogezhuang Town of Zhucheng City, was taking a walk when police officer Zhang Chongguang (male) from the Haogezhuang Police Station searched him and then took him to the Haogezhuang Police Station.
The following day, Zhang Chongguang took a search warrant and led other police officers from the Zhucheng City Police Department to ransack the home of Mr. Liang and Ms. Leng Xiu. They confiscated Falun Dafa books from his house and took him to the Zhucheng City Detention Center.
2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Xu Bin Tortured until Critically Ill in Heizuizi Prison
Practitioner Mr. Xu Bin from Changchun City suffered from brutal torture after he was arrested by police from the Luyuan District Police Department of Changchun City on October 28, 2005. He is currently being illegally held in Changchun City's Hezuizi Prison. Recently his family members were notified that Mr. Xu Bin was critically ill and his life was endangered.
Practitioners Ms. Wang Shouhui and her son, Mr. Liu Boyang, were arrested on the same day as Mr. Xu Bin. Both Ms. Yang and her son have since been tortured to death.
3. [Jilin Province] Mr. He Bo from the Jilin Agriculture University Illegally Arrested by the Police
Practitioner Mr. He Bo, age 42, previously worked at the Printing Factory of the Jilin Agriculture University. Later, because he refused to give up his faith in Falun Dafa, he was reassigned to work in the reception office. On December 23, 2005, Mr. He Bo was illegally taken away by police from the Jingyue Tourism Economic Development District of Changchun City.
4. [Fuyang City, Auhui Province] Ms. Yang Mingjie and 68 Other Practitioners Arrested and Detained
Between July 2005 and October 2005, 69 Falun Dafa practitioners from Fuyang City, including Ms. Yang Mingjie, Mr. Yuan Hanwen, Ms. Liu Yun and Ms. Zhu Suxia, were arrested and detained. Ms. Yang Mingjie has been taken to the Hefei City Women's Forced Labor Camp.
In addition, the Criminal Written Judgment from the Yingzhou District Court of Fuyang City (Order No. 55 in 2005 of the elementary court) handed down the following sentences to these Falun Dafa practitioners:
Mr. Zhu Fangming: eleven years
Mr. Liu Junying: ten years
Mr. Wang Ying: ten years
Mr. Wang Hongrong: eight years
Mr. Tian Honglin: eight years
Mr. Li Cuifeng: eight years
Ms. Wu Xiaoli: eight years
Mr. Su Guangxia: eight years
Mr. Yang Shuang: four years
Ms. Wu Jinfeng: four years
5. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Dong Jingmin and Two Other Practitioners Illegally Detained in the Donggang City Detention Center in Liaoning Province
In early October 2005, practitioners Ms. Dong Jingmin from Xiuyan County, Ms. Li Congzhi, and Mr. Liu Yuchen from Gushan Town were arrested. They are still being illegally held in the Donggang City Detention Center.
6. [Shanghai City] Mr. Jiang Yexiang Illegally Arrested Again
Practitioner Mr. Jiang Yexiang was sentenced to four and a half years of imprisonment in October 2000. He was brutally tortured in the Tilanqiao Prison and repeatedly went on hunger strikes to protest the persecution. In April 2005, Mr. Jiang walked out of the prison with dignity. In the middle of November 2005, Mr. Jiang Yexiang went missing again.
7. [Tianjin City] Ms. You Fengyun Arrested
On December 27, 2005, police officers from the Niudaokou Town Police Station in the Baodi District of Tianjin City broke into residential housing and illegally arrested practitioner Ms. You Fengyun.
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cui Xiuqin Taken to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
On December 22, 2005, practitioner Ms. Cui Xiuqin was taken from the Yaojia Detention Center to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for two years of forced labor. Officers of the Xinggong Street Police Station were responsible.
9. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Jing Shifei Arrested in Wendeng City
On December 27, 2005, police from the State Security Division of the Wendeng City Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Jing Shifei from Laiyang City while he was walking on the street in Shihuijiao Village, Wendeng City, Shandong Province.
