Liu Xiaofeng, a Falun Dafa practitioner attending the Art Design College of Qinghua University, has been detained in the Third Division of the Beijing Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp. He recently suffered a new round of cruel torture. Because he won't renounce Falun Gong, he was confined in a small room and barred from any movement. The door and windows were covered with paper to isolate and confine him. The prison guard assigned six inmates who took turns harassing him. They forced him to sit in one fixed position on a small plastic chair for an extended period. If he broke the "rule" by changing positions, they would beat him.
Li Wei is a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in French at Beijing Foreign Language University. He has practiced Falun Dafa for many years. His resistance to the "transformation" effort annoyed the Chinese authorities so they sent him to the forced labor camp and put him under the strict supervision of four inmates.
At present, the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp detains over 120 Falun Dafa practitioners; they are either under the charge of the First Division or the Third Division. Yan Xiaojie, the female prison guard, was transferred from the First Division to the Third Division as the "supervising officer" to enforce the persecution. Rumor has it that she may be promoted to the Vice Director of the Political Affairs Department due to her involvement in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners.
