(Clearwisdom.net) It was about 9 p.m. that evening when my father called. He was telling me that my mother went out around 2 p.m. in the afternoon with some truth clarification materials, but never returned. We learned that my mother had gone with another practitioner from the other practitioner's family, and that they were both missing. The other family was worried as well. I was once jailed for a long time because of passing out materials, so my father was worried about my mother. I told him to send forth righteous thoughts. When I got home, I hid all the Dafa books and materials, and then sent forth righteous thoughts all night without sleeping.
The other practitioner's family came to see us the next morning and we comforted them. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts at work. In the afternoon, policemen and the 610 office people illegally searched my parents' house. It was the second time that we experienced this. They then imprisoned my mother and the other practitioner into the detention center. At night, my brother, sister-in-law, my father and I got together. We were all saddened and frustrated. My brother called one of his friends, who is a policeman, asking for information about this situation. I told him not to spend any money to bribe the police; I encouraged them to be more positive, and not to acknowledge the evil's persecution of Dafa disciples. I said that I would go to the 610 office the next morning and ask them to release the jailed. I asked them to go with me, but none of them wanted to accompany me. At about 10 p.m. that night, I went to that practitioner's house and asked her family to go with me. But they were mad and blamed me for everything; saying that it was my mother who asked that practitioner to go out, and that it is her fault, and then they threw me out of their house.
On the third morning, I dressed up in a suit and shoes that I only wear for special occasions. I also wore a bright tie, the one I was wearing when I went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. At 6 a.m., I went to another practitioner's house and asked her to expose this situation on the website and to inform other local practitioners to send forth righteous thoughts.
At 7 a.m., I arrived at the district government building. The 610 office is located on the north side on the first floor of this building. It was too early, so I stood next to a window at the stairs to the second floor, where I could see the front gate and the yard. While waiting there, I calmly sent forth righteous thoughts. People passed by me occasionally.
At 8 a.m., people were coming to work. The first 610 office person who came to work was a 30 to 40 year old woman. I told her about my mother and asked her to release my mother. She told me that she was present yesterday when my mother was arrested, so she knew about this matter. Then she told me how my mother resisted them, and how severe and bad the situation is. I told her with dignity that my mother did not break any laws, and they should not have arrested her. At that time, 3 more people came to work. I asked the chief of the 610 office to release my mother, but he said that it was the police department not them who arrested her, and told me to deal with the police department. He called the 610 office in that particular police department and asked the chief to come over to his office. Then he said to me that he understood how I felt, but that this matter is very serious. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts during the entire process.
After one hour, the chief of the 610 office from the police department arrived with a rude fellow accompanying him. They threatened me and said that they would not release my mother; moreover, they were going to sentence my mother to the labor camp. They also tried to convince me with "nice words" to accept their action. But my courage and thoughts of rescuing these fellow practitioners, and my solid belief in the Fa and Master was not shakable. The chief of the 610 office from the police department asked me if I still was a practitioner, and I said yes. He even said that I was of the same character as "the Falun Gong practitioners in the early days." I immediately realized my attachment to compliments from others.
Around 10:30 a.m., they told me to go home and not to interfere with their work. I went out of the building but stood next to the front door in order to calmly send forth righteous thoughts. The guards on duty, who were not more than 3 meters from me, changed shifts often while I was there, but I kept sending forth righteous thoughts towards the government building. The luxury cars (which are the government officials' cars) also passed by me occasionally. At around 3 p.m. in the afternoon, two people from the 610 office came to me, accompanied by a police officer from that police station. One of them, who gave me water in the office previously, didn't say anything, the other one said that it is of no use to stand here even it was for 10 days, and then he claimed that they would release my mother. He asked me to go home first. I blamed them for arresting an old lady just because she practices Falun Gong. I said if she was their mother, would they not also do something in order to rescue her? The policeman, who was mean at first, changed his attitude and then talked to me nicely. They said that they understood my feelings being her son. But I knew that I could not rescue my mother with an everyday person's emotions. What I was doing was eliminating the evil with righteous thoughts, and rescuing a fellow practitioner who was being persecuted. At that time, more and more people came by to see what was going on. Because the policemen asked me to leave, I didn't insist on staying and left.
The fourth day was my brother-in-law's wedding. So, I didn't do anything but stayed at the wedding. My father went to the 610 office in the police department, but was unable to find anybody to talk to. So, he went to the 610 office in the district government. He was a member of the CCP, and had been deeply polluted by the CCP. Although he quit the party with a fake name, he still didn't have a deep understanding of the CCP. On that evening, he blamed me that I had put the 610 office people in a dilemma when I was standing at the gate of the government building, and caused them to be confused and they did not know what to do. Father's words made me sad. I encouraged and comforted him from the Fa.
The fifth day was a Saturday. I arrived at the government building at 8 a.m. I stood across the street and sent forth righteous thoughts towards it. I left for a while to do some other things, and returned around noon. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts without having lunch. Since it was a weekend, the guards were not on duty. Every now and then, the guards peeked at me through the window.
In afternoon, a monk who was wandering around came to me. He said something, but due to his southern accent, I only had a rough idea of what he was telling me. He said that the situation would become better at a certain time, and he thought that I am a good person, so he wanted to give me a miniature Buddha's statue he carried with him which was consecrated. I thanked him, but didn't accept the Buddha statue. He insisted and said that this was not for me to get a fortune or some promotion; instead, it was supposed to protect me. He wanted to give me this, because he thought that I was a good person. I had a hard time refusing the statue he wanted to give me, but suddenly I realized that this was a serious problem. I have to take the path arranged by Master, and I am protected by Master. How would I deal with this picture, if I were to take it? Therefore, I firmly refused. After he left, I realized that I had the attachment to time and the end of the persecution that he had mentioned. After this realization, I stopped thinking about his words. I resumed sending forth righteous thoughts, and thought of Master. For some reason, I could not stop shedding tears. I was standing there, solidly sending forth righteous thoughts and tears were streaming down my face. I left after about 5 hours.
On the sixth morning, I got there around 8 a.m. After a while, two former local practitioners, who now follow the evil's path, came to me and started talking nonsense. I did not know them, so I asked them to have some self-respect and not cause harm for them by doing wrong deeds. I then ignored them and kept sending forth righteous thoughts with my eyes closed; they then left. After they had left, people from my former work place came to me and with "nice words" asked me to leave. I told them about my mother, and asked them not to bother me any more. One of them told me that people from the government office asked them to persuade me to leave. I didn't pay any more attention to them. At around 11:30 a.m., the 610 office in the district government called the police to drive me away. Around 12 noon, I returned to the same spot and continued to send forth righteous thoughts. People from my old work place and policemen from the police station came again and wanted to drive me away. I refused to leave. Around 2 p.m. in the afternoon, my parents-in-law came. They were fearful and took me back to their house.
On the seventh morning, it was raining when I arrived at 8 a.m. and I sent forth righteous thoughts under an umbrella. After about 10 minutes, the chief of the 610 office came to me and with a phony nice tone of voice he asked me to take a rest in his office. I refused. After a while, he called the police to take me away to the police station. On the way to the police station, a policeman cursed at me in the car. In the station, they illegally searched me and then the police department's 610 office head talked to me. I asked him to explain why they brought me here, searched me and cursed me. I also asked him when they would release my mother. He answered that they cannot make this decision right away, but they would do it as soon as possible. I told them that I cannot wait at home and do nothing. Long after he left, the deputy police station chief came to talk to me. He said he was ordered to take me here by the district CCP committee, the district government and the 610 office. I asked him why they took orders from some people, instead of doing things according to the law. I didn't break any law, why did they kidnap me and bring me here? Around 12:30 p.m., they let me go.
At 4:40 p.m., I went back to the government building to continue sending forth righteous thoughts. At 5:15 p.m., the 610 office called my brother to come over to their office. After one hour, my brother stepped out of their office and asked me to go home. I went home after it got dark. When I arrived at home, my brother told me that he saw the flyers my mother was passing out. He said that it was so anti-CCP, so anti-revolutionary and very serious. My father also tried to tell me how solid and tough the CCP's governing is. Their words made me very sad, and I almost cried. I went to work without having dinner.
It was raining again on the eighth morning. Since I got off work late that morning, I arrived at the government building around 8:30 a.m. Around 9 a.m., they took me to the police station. My brother came to the station at around 9:30 a.m. He brought some clothes for my mother. After a while, I was taken to the police station chief. The chief and a person I've never seen before were waiting for me in a room. That person threatened me. I scolded them for cursing, illegally searching, and jailing an innocent old lady till now. After a while, they took me to another room. The 610 office chief in the police department took pictures and video taped me. I calmly sat on the couch, looking out of the window, and was ignoring them. After a few minutes, my brother came and told me that I can go home now. He also told me that the person who was talking to me is the vice chief of the police department. The vice chief told my brother to take my mother home at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
At 1 p.m., I returned to the government building, and was sending forth righteous thoughts towards it from a distance. Around 1:30 p.m., they called my brother in a flurry to take me home.
At 3 p.m., my mother was released and returned home.
It has been a while since this incident had happened. We returned to our peaceful life, and walked the path of Fa-rectification, like nothing ever happened. But actually, we went through a severe and tough situation. I have been practicing for 7 years. Although I've never seen Master, I feel that no matter how difficult the situation is, it makes me very happy to do what Master told us to do, and it is the most comfortable and solid walk on the path arranged by Master. I don't cultivate very well during my daily life, and I had taken the wrong path in cultivation. I cannot be called a good disciple of Master. I feel that I don't know how to feel less ashamed when I finally have the fortune to see Master.
This is some of my experiences and shallow understanding. Please correct me with compassion if I am wrong.
