(Clearwisdom.net) We almost bumped into some policemen from a local police station during a recent truth clarification activity. I realized why it happened when I looked inside. Since the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, the practitioners in our area have been spending more and more time and effort making and distributing copies of the Nine Commentaries. Some practitioners have focused on urging people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They still work on other Dafa projects; but they no longer put their hearts into them. Therefore, the basis of validating the Fa in our area has changed.
I had a dream the other day. In my dream, I wanted to save an old friend. He looked at me with hope and expectation in his eyes. Instead of explaining the facts of Dafa, I started to talk about the Nine Commentaries. He became disappointed and left.
I came to realize that although it is important to distribute the Nine Commentaries, the purpose is to eliminate the obstacles during our clarifying the truth about Dafa. The only thing that can truly save people is the Fa.
Many people, especially Chinese people, have been deceived by the evil Party culture for so long that they are unwilling to listen to the truth. The Nine Commentaries is a powerful tool that Teacher gave us to remove the obstacles so that sentient beings could become willing to learn the truth about Dafa. The purpose of the Nine Commentaries is for our practitioners to further and more thoroughly clarify the truth to save more sentient beings. Some practitioners, however, regard clarifying the truth as a way to help distribute the Nine Commentaries, which is wrong.
Teacher said,
"Right now the biggest obstacle is that the Party culture is influencing sentient beings and rendering them unable to see or listen to the truth. With that situation at hand, the Nine Commentaries were published with the purpose of helping people to see the CCP's fundamental nature."

Teacher also said,
"So since the publication of the Nine Commentaries, through clarifying the facts and saving sentient beings Dafa disciples have really helped many people come to understand the true situation."

To help people learn the truth of the Fa is the most important thing. Teacher said,
"When you see sentient beings who need to be saved, what's crucial is getting the beings saved."

Teacher also said,
"If the CCP, while in its death throes, still tries to use different tactics to tamper with the salvation of sentient beings, then we have other ways to deal with it--the Buddha Fa is boundless!"

Only when a person gets rid of the evil Party's control can he or she become willing to listen to the truth about Dafa. Only when people see through the essence of the CCP and realize how evil it is can they become willing to quit the CCP, and therefore be saved. The Nine Commentaries is a tool to help people become more receptive to our other truth-clarification materials. Only when people know the truth of the Fa and assimilate to the Fa can they be saved. Therefore, it's crucial for us to do a good job on both clarifying the truth and helping people learn the Nine Commentaries, so we can achieve the maximum effect. We shouldn't go to extremes.
Recently, the CCP has installed many cameras on major and minor streets in our area, in order to catch people who distribute the Nine Commentaries. This has made it more difficult for us to distribute truth-clarification materials. This shows an omission on our part. I think that there are many reasons for this, and we each need to look inside and rectify our basis for rectifying the Fa. When we deviate from the Fa, the evil on the surface has an excuse to bring trouble to us.
The essential reason for the change of our basis is that we haven't studied the Fa enough. We need to study Teacher's recent articles continually, without holding onto ordinary people's notions.
