Washington DC: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Grand Independence Day Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of July 4, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from the New York Metropolitan and Washington DC areas participated for the fourth time in the Independence Day Parade held on Constitution Avenue in the capital city of the USA. They displayed Falun Dafa's wonderfulness to local people and visitors, and were well-received.

(Clearwisdom.net) July 4, 2005 was American Independence Day, and the beautiful seaside city of Huntington Beach in Southern California held its 101st Independence Day Parade. Falun Gong practitioners in Los Angeles participated for the second time in this largest-scale Independence Day parade west of the Mississippi River. Falun Gong practitioners provided performances including a waist drum group, celestial maiden dancers, a float decorated with blue sky and white clouds, and exercise demonstrations on the float. They were well-received by the spectators, and they brought good wishes of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" to 250,000 spectators along the parade route and three million television viewers.

San Diego: Practitioners Win First Place Award at the Coronado Independence Day Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Coronado Island area is acclaimed to be as beautiful as a painting. It is connected to San Diego by a bridge. Besides the beautiful scenery, there is the famous structure built for the English royal court, and the romantic story of the island. Coronado is now also one of the famous wealthy people's residential areas in the US. Holding an Independence Day Parade has been a tradition in Coronado for years. In 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in San Diego first participated in the island's Independence Day parade, and won second prize for their float. This July 4th, practitioners were once again invited to participate in this American Independence Day Parade.
