Solemn Declaration
I started practicing Falun Dafa in the summer of 1998. After that, I did not truly study the Fa as required for genuine cultivation. When an important issue was encountered, instead of looking at the issue with the principles of "Truthfulness - Compassion - Forbearance," I would blindly follow someone else's lead. I did not observe Master's teachings to be strict with myself and look inward for my own shortcomings. Instead, I was attached to blaming others. Ignoring a fellow practitioner's advice, I was interfered with and participated in the May 2000 Hong Kong rally that was organized by the persecutors. Thus, I committed a grave sin in interfering with Master's Fa-rectification plan. Thanks to Master's great benevolence, I suddenly awakened, and now wholeheartedly regret what I did before. I sincerely declare my regret and repentance for my mistakes.
Hereby I solemnly declare null and void all of the bad things I did in Hong Kong, and all of my previous words and actions that were not in accordance with Dafa's requirements. I am totally negating the arrangements by the old forces. From now on I will strengthen my Fa study and make up for my mistakes. Making diligent progress in exposing the evil and saving sentient beings, I want to be an upright and dignified Dafa practitioner.

Solemn Declaration
Having suffered a most serious illness and hearing about the effectiveness of Falun Gong on improving health, I started to practice cultivation and study the Fa in March 1999. However this excellent exercise and cultivation was soon subjected to brutal persecution by the wicked Jiang Zemin and his associates. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, officials took me to the county office, where they isolated me and forced me to stand still under the scorching sun for two hours. In June 2003, policemen broke into my home and took me to a detention center. They demanded money from my family members for my release without my knowledge. Even after the extortion succeeded, they still kept me confined so as to force me to abandon Falun Gong. They tormented me for more than 20 days and then took me to the county 610 Office brainwashing center. A group of young men kept beating and scolding the practitioners. I was forced to run and do physical exercises non-stop. They also used electric batons to shock the hands of the detained practitioners. Some used plastic clubs to beat a practitioner nearly to death. As a person in his sixties, I could not withstand it and was forced to sign a repentance statement. My son was then called in to persuade me to quit Falun Gong. After I paid some fines, they sent me home. But the more I think about it, the more I feel ashamed of myself. I am terribly sorry to Master. I would like to declare null and void all of my previous words and actions under the evil persecution that were against Dafa. I am totally negating all arrangements by the old forces. Following Master to the end of Fa-rectification, I am firm in practicing cultivation of Dafa without being interfered with in my heart.
