[Nanyang City, Henan Province] Xiaowei, Xiaojun and Others Arrested Illegally
On the afternoon of May 8, 2005, homeless Dafa practitioners Xiaowei (alias) and Xiaojun (alias) went to a furniture factory of Yalan Corporation in Nanyang City for a job interview. Xiaowei and Xiaojun arrived at the factory at around 3 pm. While they were being interviewed by Bi Wenxiang in his office, police surrounded the factory. Soon more than a hundred policemen, including several cars of armed police troops surrounded the factory. They arrested three Falun Dafa practitioners, who are right now being detained in the Shangzhuang Detention Center of Nanyang City.
[Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Six Falun Gong Practitioners from Shenyang City Arrested
At noon on May 22, 2005, the Fengyutan Police Station of Shenhe District, Shenyang City ransacked a practitioner's home. They arrested Ms. Xu Qingmei, Ms. Yang Xiulan and others, all together five female practitioners and one male practitioner. Right now they are being detained at the police station. During the ransacking, the policemen were especially violent and destroyed an antique in the process.

[Changyi City, Shandong Province] Zhangling Town Police Station Arrest Dafa Disciples
On May 19, 2005, police from the Zhangling Town Police Station arrested Mr. Fang Xide, Ms. Cao Shulan, Mr. Zhou Weitian, Ms. Zhao Guirong, Mr. and Mrs. Liu, Mr. Cao Zhenqi and his wife, and Li Shulian, a total of nine people. Li Shulian was injured during the arrest after being assaulted.

[Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ao Yongjie Arrested by the Local Police Office and State Security Bureau
On the morning of May 20, 2005, the local state security team captain Wang Quan and ten other policemen went to Ao Yongjie's house. They said they wanted to talk to Mr. Ao and his wife, and asked them to open the door. When Mr. Ao refused to open the door, Wan Quan and others stayed in front of the door and did not leave. At around 7:30, Ao Yongjie told the policemen to leave first and then he would go to the police station. After a while, the policemen also asked Liu Guimei, Ao's wife, to go to the police station. When she refused, five or six of them stayed in front of Ao's house and continued to call Ao's house until 1 pm. In the evening, Ao Yongjie's daughter went to the police station, asking the police to release her father. The policemen replied that Ao had already been sent to Wulanhaote City.

[Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Hu Jinfeng and Li Laifang Arrested
Between 9 a.m. and noon on May 13, 2005, Hu Jinfeng and Li Laifang from Dingxing county of Baoding City, Hebei Province visited Ms. Niu Huimin. This was reported to the local residence management committee. Soon after that, the state security section of the police office sent Zhan Jun, Jia Qingchuan, Li Min and others to arrest Hu Jinfeng and Li Laifang. They attacked the practitioners and beat Li Laifang down to the ground. In the detention center, Hu Jinfeng and Li Laifang went on a hunger strike to protest their illegal arrest. On the fourth day after they were arrested, policemen sent Hu Jinfeng to the Baoding City Labor Camp without going through any legal procedure or informing his family. On the fifth day, they sent Li Laifang to a labor camp. Because Li Laifang's health condition was poor, the labor camp refused to accept her. She was then sent back to the detention center, but they also did not want to accept her, so they had to inform Li's relatives to take her back home. On the sixth day, the Baoding City Police Office sent several policemen to search Li Laifang's house. Currently Li Laifang has been forced to leave home and go from place to place to avoid further persecution.

[Shulan City, Jilin Province] Liu Dapeng Families Persecuted and Torn Apart
Mr. Liu Dapeng was a volunteer assistant at Shulan City's practice site. After July 20, 1999, he was sentenced to seven years. His elder sister Liu Shuanghui was sentenced to eleven years. No information about Liu Dapeng's wife, who is also a practitioner, is available currently. His daughter is in junior high school and being looked after by her grandparents.
[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Gu Yuenian from Jianghan District Arrested
At about 7 p.m. on May 12, 2005, Ms. Gu Yuenian walked out of her home. When she went to the Jinmao Building, suddenly police from the first section of the city police department and the Jianghan District police station arrested her. The police then sent her to a brainwashing class at Erdaopeng, Jianghan District and ransacked her home. They confiscated her computer, Teacher's picture and Dafa books.

On March 8, 2005, policemen Han Mengfa and Song Xiujie from Shangzhuang Town Police Station of Rongcheng City arrested Ms. Yu Hongzhen (Liujiadian Village), Ms. Gao Peirong (Zhongguzhang Village), Ms Sun Yongling (Maoliujia Village) and Ms. Wang Renzhi (Dongshangzhuang Village) and sent them to the Rongcheng City Detention Center. Yu Hongzhen, Gao Peirong and Wang Renzhi were sent to the Wang Village Female Labor Camp of Zibo City, Shandong Province. No information about Sun Yongling is available right now.

[Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Policemen Arrest Xie Chunwei and Others
On April 17, 2005, when Xie Chunwei and Ji Hua were sharing experiences in Gu Liangjing's home, they were arrested by the Qingzhou City Police Office. Shortly after nine o'clock, police from the 610 Office climbed over the wall and illegally entered Gu Liangjing's home. They arrested the Dafa practitioners, and confiscated their computer, printer and all the Dafa related materials. Right now no more information about them is available.
[Chongqing City] Police Arrest Huang Shanhua in Shuangqiao District Again
Ms. Huang Shanhua used to be the Deputy Director of the employee hospital of Shuangqiao District Heavy Truck Factory. She started to practice Falun Gong in 1998, and she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Dafa in 1999 and 2000. From 2000 to 2002, she was put into the Beijing Women's Prison and tortured badly, which caused blindness in both of her eyes. After she was released, Huang Shanhua continued to practice Dafa and recovered her eyesight.
In mid-April of 2005, when Huang Shanhua went back to Shuangqiao District from Chongqing City, she was searched all over her body by policemen from the Shuangqiao District 610 Office. Although the policemen did not find anything, they still arrested her. Currently no one knows where she is being held.
[Xinji City, Hebei Province] Zhang Tongyi and his Wife Arrested and Their House Ransacked by the Local 610 Office
On the morning of April 14, 2005, police from the Xinji City 610 Office, led by Geng Chao, went to Pengliuzuo Village and Tianzhuang Village of Xinji City. They arrested Zhang Tongyi and Li Ergai (husband and wife) and ransacked their home.

On May 10, 2005, the Guiping County Police arrested Ms. Li Lini as she held a meeting in her office. She was held at the Guiping County Detention Center.
[Jilin Province] The Persecution of Yang Mingli's Family
Mr. Yang Mingli, 50 years old, used to work at the Jilin Shuangyang Concrete Factory. He was arrested in December 2004 for practicing Falun Gong. Right now he is being held at the Weizigou Labor Camp in Changchun City. He was tortured at the labor camp, and he is exhibiting the symptoms of anasarca, renal failure and uremia. He would have blood in his urine whenever he ingested food with salt in it. His wife Ms. Lan Yaqin was also held at the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp. Their son is also a Dafa practitioner, and he is currently missing.

Ms. Tian Zonglin, 68 years old, was reported to the police when she clarified the truth to the public. On May 18, 2005 Zhengzhou City Police Office arrested her at her home and then ransacked her home.

[Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Meng Qingying Forcefully Arrested Again
On the evening of April 17, 2005, police arrested Ms. Meng Qingying (over 50 years old), tortured her and then sent her to a detention center. On April 21, they released her after extorting 3,000 Yuan from her daughter. At that time, the police were afraid that Meng Qingying would be paralyzed after they tortured her, so after extorting the money, they released her. After Meng Qingying was released, she recovered very quickly. While her daughter was giving birth and she was assisting on May 14, 2005, plainclothes police came to her home again. They forcefully dragged her to their vehicle and took her away. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
[Shandong Province] Dongying City Police Arrest Haojia Town Residents Mr. Hao Shilin and His Wife
At 8 p.m. on May 21, 2005, residents of Haojia Town, Dongying City of Shandong Province, Mr. Hao Shilin and his wife Ms. Liu Aiguo were arrested by police from Kenli County, Dongying City, with the Haojia Town Police Station's assistance. They were held at the Haojia Town Police Station and interrogated for the whole night. Right now they are being detained at the Kenli County Detention Center.
