Australia: Practitioners in Melbourne Call on Foreign Minister Downer to Stop Helping the Chinese Communist Party Persecute Falun Gong (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net, June 25, 2005) On June 23, 2005, Falun
Dafa practitioners in Melbourne rallied in front of the federal
government building to call on Australian Foreign Minister
Alexander Downer to withdraw the restrictions on Falun Gong's
peaceful appeals. They held banners reading "Mr. Downer, Please
Stop Certificates that Limit the Falun Gong Appeal at Chinese
Embassy," "Mr. Downer, Do Not Help the Chinese Communist Party
Persecute Falun Gong". They also reenacted torture methods used in
China in the persecution and distributed truth-clarification
literature.
Thailand: Practitioners Mourn Gao Rongrong and Call for an End to the Persecution (Photo)
(Clearwisdom.net) Chinese Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong
was disfigured from electric baton shock torture by the Chinese
Communist Party's (CCP) police and then tortured to death on June
16, 2005. On June 26, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Thailand
gathered to mourn Gao Rongrong. They raised banners reading,
"Protesting Against the CCP for Killing Gao Rongrong!" "Severely
Punish the Murderers," and "Call for the CCP to Immediately Stop
the Persecution of Falun Gong." The practitioners requested the
international community to show concern over the persecution in
China.
United Kingdom: Continuing to Appeal at the Chinese Embassy to Protest Against the CCP for Torturing Gao Rongrong to Death (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners from several cities in
the U.K. once again gathered at the London Chinese Embassy on June
25, 2005 to hold a press conference, protesting against the CCP for
torturing Chinese Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong to death and
demanding that the murderers be severely punished.
