On May 18, 2005, the Public Security Bureau at the Dalian Development Section arrested Ms. Jiang Huiqin, an English teacher from Dalian City, because she clarified the truth of Falun Gong and the persecution to her students. Ms. Jiang was detained at the Yaojia Detention Center.
The Public Security Bureau staff from the Dalian Development Section are responsible for the deaths of Mr. Chen Yong and Mr. Li Zhongmin.

Ms. Zhu Yan and Chen Meili, from Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, were sentenced unlawfully to an eight-year prison term.

About two weeks ago, Mr. Xu Xinmu traveled to China's Northwestern region to attend his nephew's wedding. He was arrested at Harbin Station for carrying a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party.
6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Pan Qi Arrested, but Escaped Using Righteous Thoughts
On April 5, 2004, Ms. Pan Qi was reported to police for having clarified the truth of Falun Gong to one of her patients at the Dongte Development Section Outpatient Office. Police from Huanghailu Police Station in the Dalian Development Sector arrested her. Earlier on that day, three policemen went to her dormitory to look for truth-clarifying materials, which they found. They notified local public security personnel over their cell phone. The security personnel dragged Ms. Pan downstairs, pushed her into a vehicle and took her to the Huanghailu Police Station. She was later transferred to the Sanli Detention Center in Dalian Jinzhou Section. Pan Qi escaped using righteous thoughts ten days later.
7. [Qi County, Henan Province] Li Xiuqin and Hou Yanling Face Unlawful Trial
Ms. Li Xiuqin and Hou Yanling, from Qi County, Henan Province, were reported to the police for clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to the customers in their sale's office. On May 9, 2005 in the afternoon, Li Yuanting, head of the Xingqi Police Station, and Li Baoquo, deputy head, together with police officers from the anti-riot squad, arrested both of them and took them to the Qi County Public Security Bureau.
It was verified today that the Qi County Procuratorate would ask Kaifeng City Procuratorate for an investigation and an official reply.

8. [Guangdong Province] Zhang Guoling, a Pilot for Southern Airlines, Sentenced for Being a Falun Gong Practitioner
Mr. Zhang Guoling, a young pilot with Southern Airlines, was arrested and his personal property confiscated. He was detained on the ninth floor of the Heguirong Welfare Compound (which is used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners) in the Haizhu Section, Guangzhou City, and Dongshan Detention Center.
In April 2005, during a court session, Mr. Zhang's original sentence was changed to a 4- year prison term.
9. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Li Fengyou Sentenced to Five Years in Prison, Causing His Son to be Without Parental Supervision
Li Fengyou is from Heilongjiang Province and resides at the Zhuhai City Airport Residence Section B, 31st Bldg, 207 Caotang, Number 501. He was sent to a brainwashing center by the Zhuhai 610 Office in 2000 and was unlawfully sentenced to five years in prison during 2001. He is now imprisoned at the Sihui Prison. On May 20, 2005, Jiamusi policeman Chen Wanyou arrested Ms. Ji Yingping for practicing Falun Gong.
11. [Guangdong Province] Ms. Lu Xiuqing Lost Her Memory and Became Paralyzed at Maoming Brainwashing Center Due to Persecution
Ms. Lu Xiuqing, 53, began Falun Gong cultivation in 1999. The police detained her for 15 days in 2000 and fined her 120 yuan.
In 2001, Ms. Lu was again detained for 15 days on the second floor of Nongwei, Development Section. In 2002, she was again arrested and detained for one day, during which time food was withheld. She was then detained in the Maoming Jurisdiction and Law School (a brainwashing center). Ms. Lu persisted in practicing Falun Dafa, refused to accept the so-called "transformation," and went on a 15-day hunger strike to protest the imprisonment. Her life was in grave danger. The 610 Office staff injected her with an unidentified central nervous system-damaging drug. She fell into a coma. After 4 days of oxygen treatment, Lu Xiuqing came out of the coma, but had lost her memory and had become paralyzed.
12. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cui Ling, Imprisoned in Shandong Provincial Women's Prison, Holds Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution
Ms. Cui Ling, 32, is a college graduate. On the evening of September 7, 2004, the Qingdao Public Security Bureau South Branch secretly arrested her, along with Mr. Li Zhenwen and his wife Zou Limei. They were detained at the Qingdao City Dashan Detention Center. Ms. Cui was later illegally sentenced to a four-year prison term and was imprisoned in the Shandong Provincial Women's Prison. She has been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.
13. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Fen Sentenced to a 4-year Prison Term
Ms. Gao Fen, about 30 years old, is from GaojiaAipo, Jiulong County, Jiaozhou City. On November 4, 2004, she was reported to have clarified the truth of Falun Gong in a marketplace, and was arrested. She was then illegally sentenced to four years in prison.
14. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xia Guiyuan and Zeng Fenyu Arrested
On May 11, 2005, Meizhou City police took away two local residents, Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Xia Guiyuan and Zeng Fenyu who lived by the north city wall. Additionally, several more people whose names are not available were arrested in other areas.
15. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Zhang Wenjia Illegally Detained in the Tiexi Detention Center
On May 8, 2005 at around 8:00 a.m., Tieling City Public Security Bureau personnel suddenly stormed into the Tieling County Women and Children Health Care Center to arrest Mr. Zhang Wenjia. They confiscated his personal property a little later. Mr. Zhang is now detained at Tiexi Detention Center.
16. [Sichuan Province] Miyi Police in Panzhihua City Arrest Ms. Zhou Ying
On May 13, 2005, a policeman surnamed Li from Binggu Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Zhou Ying from Miyi Binggu County, Panzhihua City and sent her to Miyi Detention Center. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
17. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] National Security Personnel Arrest Ms. Zhao Shuyu
On May 10, 2005 at midnight, Changchun City National Security personnel illegally broke into practitioner Ms. Zhao Shuyu's home at the Changchun City Economic Development Section 2. She was arrested and taken away. Her whereabouts are unknown.
18. [Chongqing City] Public Security Arrest Practitioner Tang Yi at Train Station
On May 1, 2005, security personnel stopped Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Tang Yi at the train station. They searched his notebook PC and then arrested him. Mr. Tang is being detained at the Railroad Public Security Detention Center in Chongqing City. He has been on hunger strike for three weeks now and his condition is critical.
19. [Haogang, Heilongjiang Province] Police Arrest Ms. Cui Wenxia at Haoquanling Farm
In early May 2005, 610 Office personnel from the Haoquanling Public Security Branch Office arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Cui Wenxia at Haoquanling Farm for distributing truth-clarifying material about Falun Gong. Later, police from the 610 Office confiscated her property and her Dafa books.
20. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Shuirong Sent to Wuhan Brainwashing Center
Ms. Liu Shuirong is a retiree and a Falun Gong practitioner from the Dongfeng Automobile Company in Shiyan City, Hubei Province. She was arrested numerous times for practicing Falun Gong after July 20, 1999, the date when Jiang's regime began persecuting Falun Gong. In late 2004, she was again arrested and sent to the Auto Body Factory Brainwashing Center of Dongfeng Automobile Company. She escaped using righteous thoughts.
After the Chinese New Year, Ms. Liu was again arrested and taken to the Dongfeng Automobile Company's Sizhong Brainwashing Center. She refused to cooperate with the evil and did not compromise her belief. She was transferred to the Wuhan Brainwashing Center for further persecution.
21. [Xian City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Enjie from Weiyang Section Arrested, Her Whereabouts are Unknown
Ms. Wang Enjie, about 50 years old, lived in Bali Zhuang, Weiyang Section in Xian City. The police arrested her when she delivered Dafa truth clarification materials. Her whereabouts are unknown. She has been missing since May 20, more than 20 days.
22. [Jiange County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wang Lin Arrested and Taken to the Guangyuan Lianhua Shanzhuang Brainwashing Center
Mr. Wang Lin, 30, is from Jiange County, Sichuan Province. In 2000, he was illegally sentenced to four years in prison for practicing Falun Dafa. He was imprisoned at Deyang Prison in Sichuan Province until December 2004, and released after serving his sentence. In the later part of April 2005, a dozen local government employees, including low-level cadres and staff from the public security department, broke into Mr. Wang's home, arrested him, and took him to the Guangyuan Lianhua Shanzhuang Brainwashing Center.
On April 17, 2005, Dayi public security personnel arrested Wang Lin and Wang Xiaosong, and took them to the Chengdu City Xinjin Brainwashing Unit. Mr. Wang Xiaosong was a driver for the Chengdu City Education Bureau. He and Mr. Wang Lin were co-workers at the Fourth Brigade of Deyang Prison.
Mr. Zhang Yue, who was also a co-worker of Wang Lin in the Fourth Brigade, was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor. As of April 2003, he had already served an unlawful prison sentence. Zhang Yue is being held beyond his term at the Mianyang Xinhua Forced Labor Camp.

24. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Pan Baoyan From Changan Town Abducted and Taken to Donggang Detention Center
Changan County police arrested Ms. Pan Baoyan from Yangjia Village, Changan Town, Donggang City, Liaoning Province, for clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to people. The police confiscated her personal property and detained her at the Donggang City Detention Center.

25. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Police Arrest Ms. Su Qiqin
On May 13, 2005 at about 8:15 a.m., Songyuan City Public Security personnel arrested practitioner Ms. Su Qiqin, who lived in Songyuan City, Jilin Province. Her whereabouts are unknown.
26. [Guangdong Province] Ms. Han Yuejuan Imprisoned in Guangzhou Women's Prison
In September 2003, Ms. Han Yuejuan was sent to Guangzhou Women's Prison to serve a six-year prison term.
27. [Si County, Anhui Province] Police Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioners
As disclosed by a public security insider, Si County police arrested Ms. Lou Shixia when she was posting truth-clarifying Falun Gong materials on May 1, 2005. On the evening of May 6, Mr. Chen Zhengshi was taken away from his home, where he was already in bed. On May 17, Mr. Zhu Zhangrong was arrested while he was repairing his bicycle. They all are being detained in the Si County Detention Center.

28. [Beijing] Mr. and Mrs. Feng Shaoming and Du Shumei Arrested, their Personal Property Confiscated
On May 20, 2005 at 6:30 a.m., public security and plainclothes personnel from the Taiyanggong Police Station in Xibahe Beili, Zhaoyang Section, Beijing, broke into Feng Shaoming and Du Shumei's home. They arrested them just before they left for work. The police searched their home and confiscated a notebook PC, a desktop PC, a scanner, a printer, and other computer accessories, along with Dafa books and related materials.
29. [Hailun City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Delin from Zhayinhe Township Arrested
Mr. Zhang Delin, from Zhayinhe Township, Hailun City, Heilongjiang Province, had been homeless for many years to avoid being persecuted. On May 15, 2005, he went home secretly to visit his wife (who had just been released from a forced labor camp because she practiced Falun Dafa). On May 17, 2005 at midnight, Hailun City Public Security and Xhayinhe Township Police Station personnel broke open the front door and arrested Zhang Delin. He is now illegally detained at the Hailun City Detention Center.

On November 3, 2004, Ms. Zhang Yingmei was arrested and her property was confiscated because she clarified the truth about Falun Gong to people. Someone had reported her to the police. Ms. Zhang was illegally detained until April 15, 2005. She was then notified that she had been sentenced to four years in prison. Ms. Zhang appealed to a higher court and is awaiting the court's decision.
