Facts of the Persecution
1. Arrests of Several Falun Dafa Practitioners from Changlingzi Village, Budayuan Township, Kuandian County, Dandong City, Liaoning Province
Prior to May 1, Mr. Sun Decheng, a practitioner in his 60s from Changlingzi Village, Budayuan Township, Kuandian County, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, was reported to police by Yu Zhiyou, and escaped through a window when the police came to arrest him at his home. Afterwards, he went to Dalian to clarify the truth, and was again reported. He was arrested by police in Dalian and held at the Kuandian County Detention Center. At 10:00 a.m. on May 12, with the information from Yu Zhiyou, Sun Lifu (head of Budayuan Township), Wang Yong (manager of the local police station), Li Yongxun and others went to the home of practitioner Zhao and conducted an illegal search. They then arrested Zhao and took him to the Kuandian County Detention Center. At the same time, Hou Fushun's wife (a Dafa practitioner) was also arrested. At around 10:30 a.m. on May 14, Kuandian County National Security Team and Buda, the head, along with local policemen from Budayuan Township illegally searched practitioner Sun Guirong's home. Sun Guirong was arrested and held at Kuandian County Detention Center.

2. Falun Dafa Practitioners at Shengli Oil Field Persecuted
On May 20, police from Huantai County abducted Dafa practitioner Yu Desheng at the Shengli Oil Field, held him under duress and ransacked his home. Later Yu Desheng was taken to Huantai.
On May 17, practitioners Zhang Aiquan and spouse Wang Mingyun of Dongxin Oil Refinery at Shengli Oil Field were arrested. They were transferred from Huantai County Detention Center to Zibo Security Bureau for detention.
On May 11, Wang Qingmei, a Dafa practitioner from the Youjian No. 3 Company of Shengli Oil Field, was abducted when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. She is currently being held at the brainwashing center at Shengli Oil Extraction Factory, Shengli Oil Field. Two days after the arrest, the police from the oil field searched her home. Wang Qingmei has been on a hunger strike protesting the arrest from day one.
