Falun Dafa is not getting political. Each of us must handle themselves well and not fall into the human way of thinking. Compassionately saving people is different than inciting hatred in people to achieve some selfish goal. The difference is found here: human thoughts of fighting a political battle versus saving sentient beings from an evil specter's control. We must be upright in all that we do.
Master said, in "Eliminate Demonic Nature (With Master's Comments)", "...we are actively eliminating the demons instead of condoning or passively enduring; but our thoughts and actions must be benevolent."
After a busy week of working on some Dafa projects in my area, I barely found time to study the Fa and when I did, my mind was constantly on my projects, so the quality of my study was poor. I didn't really do the exercises much either, but I was determined to save people. However, from this I learned a great lesson. Without studying the Fa and doing the exercises, I was just an everyday person meeting serious thought karma. My views of what I was doing were all wrong. I developed an aggressive mentality toward the CCP, which you could call a form of hatred. I was also receiving all kinds of messages interfering with me against Master. I was very muddleheaded, but I still wanted to do what was right. Even with good intentions, with human thoughts we are unable to understand our great honor and the responsibilities we have.
We are saving the world's people and clearing away the evil. If we don't cultivate ourselves well, only putting out efforts in other areas, not only will we not reach Consummation, but also we will do poorly in our great historic missions.
The evil searches for our gaps, and this experience has definitely shown me a lot of them. I hope that my shortcomings can help others to be more diligent and cultivate themselves well so that they can do even better the three things we should do.
This is all just my understanding. Please correct anything that is incorrect.
