(Clearwisdom.net) May 13 is the birthday of our revered Master Li and is also the most important festival for practitioners, World Falun Dafa Day. San Diego practitioners held various activities to celebrate this special day.

Around 2 a.m., May 14, dozens of practitioners, including several in their late seventies and a 2-year-old little practitioner started a car trip to Las Vegas where they participated in the 100th anniversary parade of the city to show the beauty of Dafa to residents there.

On May 15, practitioners held an outdoor event at Balboa Park in San Diego to introduce Falun Dafa to more local people. While many people came to learn about Dafa and the ongoing persecution, some passersby also took the initiative to learn the exercises.

Practitioners also shared their experience at the park. An elderly couple just started to practice Falun Dafa about two months ago, and they have been actively participating in all kinds of activities to spread Dafa and clarify the truth. They shared how they obtained the Fa. Another western practitioner who just started about one month ago shared how she relinquished her attachment and then started to practice.
A Mainland Chinese practitioner who came to visit her family member said that she only practiced the exercises diligently without emphasizing cultivation of xinxing in the past. When the persecution started, she said, she stumbled and did some things that a practitioner shouldn't do. However, Master still shows great compassion to her. She said that she will follow Master's teaching to do the three things well from now on.
Time passed quickly while practitioners were sharing experiences. The experience strengthened all practitioners' righteous thoughts and helped us to renew our determination to do well in future cultivation and Fa rectification.
