Facts of the Persecution

Persecution of Dafa practitioner Xiao Kaiping and her two daughters in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province

Personnel from the Guanghan City Education Bureau, the No. 6 Middle School in Guanghan City and others, such as the Guanghan City National Security Division, Xinglong Town Police Station and other government agencies persecuted Xiao Kaiping and her two daughters.

Xiao Kaiping's daughters are Chen Cheng and Chen Xi. They started attending No. 6 Middle School in Guanghan City in September 2004. They obtained Dafa shortly before they went to the school and clarified the truth to their classmates. They wrote assigned essays to clarify the facts about Dafa. Because classmate(s) reported them to the school authorities, the class head teacher called them in many times for a talk, and the provost also talked to them. On April 4, 2005, the vice principal called Chen Cheng to the office with Gao Yinghe, Huang Xingli, Zhu Zhitong and Deng Gangle present. Principal Zhu Zhitong called in Chen Xi, but Chen Xi refused to be influenced by their attempts to brainwash her. Around 10:00 p.m., the two sisters went home and discovered that National Security officers had taken their Dafa books.

On the afternoon of April 5, the mother, Xiao Kaiping, went to the school and clarified the truth to principal Zhu Zhitong who refused to listen to her. Later the same day, two officials from the Education Bureau in Guanghan City, along with Jiang Tianxing from Guanghan City National Security Bureau, went to Chen Cheng and Chen Xi. Jiang Tianxing slandered Dafa and the school authorities went along with him.

On the morning of April 7, National Security officers from the Xinglong Town Police Station ransacked Xiao Kaiping's home. Only an elderly person in his/her 70s was home at the time, yet the perpetrators turned the home upside down and took away all the Dafa books and truth clarification materials.

On April 11, Yang Changjin, a section head from the Guanghan City Education Bureau and Zhou, a female official from the Education Bureau talked to Chen Cheng and Chen Xi, but the two sisters remained determined in their belief. On April 14, Xiao Kaiping clarified the truth in Xinglong Town and was reported. Perpetrators from the National Security Bureau and from the Xinglong Town Police Station abducted and robbed her of the 100 yuan in her purse.

On the evening of April 16, police officer Hao Zhijie and four officials from the town government and from the village committee went to Xiao Kaiping's home and told the two sisters to get Xiao Kaiping's clothes and bedding, saying they would take them to Xiao Kaiping. The two sisters refused to cooperate with their unreasonable demands. On April 17, Hao Zhijie sent Chen Cheng's uncle to intimidate the girls.

Persecution of Dafa practitioners who are teachers in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province

Before the 2005 Chinese New Year, Dafa practitioner Mr. Liang Jinghui, a teacher at an elementary school in Pingsha, Zhuhai City was abducted while distributing truth clarification VCDs. He is currently being held at a brainwashing class.

Practitioner Mr. Huang Junwei, a teacher at the Hengshan Central School in Doumen clarified the truth to his students and was reported by a parent. He was abducted by personnel from the Doumen 610 Office and was sent to a brainwashing class.

Practitioner Ms. Liang Qunhao at the Hengshan Middle School was suspended after Huang Junwei's abduction and was later transferred elsewhere. In late April 2005, school authorities reported her for clarifying the truth about Dafa. She was abducted and sent to a brainwashing class in Sanshui, Guangdong Province.

A 72-year-old practitioner who is a retired principal from the Xiacun Elementary School in Jinding, Zhuhai City was abducted many times and was detained at local hotels or bars. His pension has been withheld as of September 2002. On July 15, 2004, personnel from the Xiangzhou District Education Bureau in Zhuhai City tricked her into attending a brainwashing class held at the Fumin Hotel in Zhuhai City, where they tortured her physically and mentally. Consequently, she suffered a relapse of heart disease after her release. Prior to the 2005 Chinese New Year, the following practitioners in the Doumen area were also abducted: He Xueping, Liang Rongmei and Yang Huanying, who was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor.
