There are still fourteen Falun Gong practitioners being unlawfully detained in Chaoyang City Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province. Mr. Xie Baocai from Linyuan City has been on a hunger strike since February 24. He has been force-fed twice a day and tortured severely. Mr. Xie's health condition is very bad right now. His chest and abdomen are swollen, and he has not had any bowel movements for over ten days.

Ms. Zhou Weihong, a former employee of Hunan Province Yuyang County Paper Factory, was unlawfully arrested and detained by the 610 Office of her work unit and Hongjiazhou Police Station because she clarified the truth about Falun Gong. She was then unlawfully expelled by her work unit. Later, she got a job in a store.
In the afternoon of March 8, 2005, the secretary of Hongjiazhou Neighbor Committee stopped Ms. Zhou Weihong on her way to work and stalled for time by claiming to try to find a job for Ms. Zhou. A while later, several strangers came and took Ms. Zhou away without any explanation. Ms. Zhou's whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Zhou's mother, who is also a Falun Gong practitioner, went to the police station and the city government asking about Ms. Zhou's whereabouts, but she was refused an answer. Later, Ms. Zhou's mother made posters explaining about the situation, the unlawful arrests and detentions and how the neighborhood committee participated in them. She hung the posters in several places. Three to four days later, people from the local police station notified her that Ms. Zhou had been sentenced to forced labor and sent to Zhuzhou City Baimalong Forced Labor Camp.

About 7 p.m. on October 20, 2004, Ms. Zhang Suyan and Ms. Dai Lanqiu were arrested by their work unit police section while they were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in the family residence district. The same night, Ms. Zhang Suyan had symptoms of a heart attack and was taken home for house arrest. Her home phone was disconnected and her house was searched without any legal procedure. Ms. Dai Lanqiu was locked in the police section office for the whole night. Policemen searched her house the next day.
On October 21, Ms. Zhang and Ms. Dai were sent to Panjin City Detention Center. After being detained for half a month, Ms. Dai Lanqiu was released on November 5. However, she was arrested again on November 22. On December 3, Ms. Zhang was bailed out to await sentencing because of her heart condition. She was then arrested on January 2005. They are both being unlawfully detained in the Panjin City Second Detention Center and are forbidden from having any visits. Ms. Dai was sentenced to three years and Ms. Zhang was sentenced to three and a half years.

His home was searched and he was detained in Dalong Police Station for 24 hours. He is now being detained in Changqiao Detention Center of Changsha City. Mr. Jiang Yujiang is a farmer in Kangping County, Liaoning Province. He started practicing Falun Gong in February 1998. Right after July 20, 1999, the local police went to his house and seized his Falun Gong books and tapes. Around October 1, 1999, the security unit went to his home many times, disturbing his normal life.
On October 25, 2000, 4 to 5 people from the security unit went to his home. With the excuse of preventing him from going to Beijing, they took him and his wife to the village office. The next day, policeman Hu Liangyu and 5 to 6 security personnel went to his home again and searched his house. They took five Falun Dafa books, a set of tapes and his tape player. They then forced him to the police station in town before releasing him late that night.
On December 23, 2000 when Mr. Jiang went to the chicken coop to feed the chickens, policeman Yu Lianjiang, head of the Town Police Station, arrested him without any legal grounds. Mr. Jiang was detained in a detention center for 15 days. Then he was transferred to the police station again. He was detained for 43 days before he was released. Meanwhile, his wife was also detained in the same police station, leaving their only child at home alone. Upon being released, they were forced to pay 800 yuan each.
At around 6:00 a.m. on January 19, 2003, Mr. Jiang was feeding chickens in the chicken coop when policeman Hu Liangyu, security Zhang Dongming and Tao Weifeng forcibly arrested him and took him to Zhangshi Brainwashing Center in Shenyang City. After being tortured in the brainwashing center for 10 days, he was forced to pay 1,500 yuan before he could go home.
