(Clearwisdom.net) The annual Picnic Day event was held at the University of California at Davis on April 16, 2005. Falun Gong practitioners from the Sacramento area participated in the activity and held an art exhibition entitled, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Through the exhibition, many people learned about the benefits of Falun Dafa and the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
Eight paintings, including "Image of the Buddha," "Assimilation," "Burning" and "Golden Lotus" were shown at the exhibition. The paintings embodied Falun Gong practitioners' unyielding spirit of safeguarding their faith in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." They also exposed the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party. Falun Gong practitioners around the world have been trying to stop the persecution through numerous peaceful and rational events. More artwork will be shown in the future.
