(Clearwisdom.net) Master has talked many times about the three things that Dafa disciples should do well during the Fa-rectification period, which are, studying the Fa well, sending forth righteous thoughts, and clarifying the truth to save people. As a Dafa disciple, one should genuinely believe in Master's words and melt into the Fa.
I began practicing Dafa in October 1998. When I first found the Fa, I really felt regret that I had not learned about it earlier. Other than working (I had not retired then), all my time was spent on studying the Fa and practicing the exercises. I felt that cultivation had really become a major component of my life. After the persecution of Falun Gong started on July 20, 1999, I was not afraid at all, since there was nothing in the world that could shake my determination in Dafa.
After I retired, besides taking care of my one-year-old grandson and 93-year-old mother-in-law, I spent all my time studying the Fa. When I had no time to read the book, I would listen to Master's Fa on a tape player. In this way, I read through the book Zhuan Falun two to three times every week. I also read Master's new articles each week. After learning the Fa this way for one year, I experienced a great change. In the beginning, I could only listen to other practitioners' sharing of understandings, and one year later, I was gradually able to share my own understandings of the Fa.
With the guidance of Dafa, we created an environment for cultivating ourselves and studying the Fa. My home had naturally become a place for us to meet. The number of the attendees in our group had grown from a few practitioners in the beginning to eight later. Although the evil persecution was very vicious at that time, we, upon coming together, always had a feeling of being in a land of peace. We all felt that Falun Gong is the only pure land left on the earth. Whenever we met, we would make the best use of the time; we shared our understandings of cultivation and our experiences in clarifying the truth. When we encountered problems, we would use the Fa to guide us, search within ourselves and improve ourselves according to the Fa.
The eight of us persisted in meeting once every week over the period of more than two years, from 2000 to 2002. It was this group of us, acting as one body, that protected many fellow practitioners who were illegally pursued by the police. All of us have given assistance to the Dafa practitioners who were forced to leave their homes to avoid arrest. The money we offered to each of them ranged from several dozen yuan to as much as over ten thousand yuan. We also gave practitioners clothes and blankets. Each of us did his or her best. The fellow practitioners in the Dafa material preparation site called us their powerful "back-up."
On June 12, 2001, our compassionate Master unlocked our divine power and enabled us to use the power to eradicate the evil demons and the degenerate beings. We followed what was suggested on the Minghui website and sent forth righteous thoughts at the suggested hours.
One afternoon during the winter of 2001, my second elder sister and I were sending forth righteous thoughts. After we sat down and cleared our minds for five minutes, I saw that the sky just above my home was covered with dark clouds. The clouds were very dark and dense, just like the dark, rumbling clouds right before a big storm in summer. These clouds came down toward us. The clouds suddenly turned into something as thick as a porcelain water vase. They were about three meters long, and both ends were thin and sharp; there were many of them. I then felt my legs, which were in lotus position, aching intolerably. Upon seeing the big, dark thing come towards me, I immediately asked Master in my heart to help me. Then an idea quickly came to my mind. I flipped into air the paper slip that had "Fa Zheng Qian Kun, Xie E Quan Mie" (the Chinese verse for "The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated") and all the dark things immediately disappeared; my entire energy field turned golden. Right after that, I heard my second sister saying that she could no longer hold her position. Obviously, she was also enduring huge pain in her legs.
The next evening, I brought Dafa materials to the city. I passed by a public square when I came back. I was very familiar with the square, as I had lived there for over ten years even before it was built. However, I was lost this time and could not tell the directions. I wasted over half an hour before I got home. Once I entered the room, my husband told me that my cell phone was tapped, as in less than twenty minutes he had received three phone calls on it. The first two times, when the caller heard it was a male voice, he hung up. The last time, the caller asked my husband, "Is this your phone or not?" Having realized that something had gone wrong, my husband answered that the phone was his and that he had it with him all the time. My husband asked the caller what he wanted, and the caller replied, "I have probably made a mistake. Sorry." Later, I heard that someone had confessed to the police during interrogation that this cell phone belonged to a female practitioner. If I had not gotten lost and had arrived at home on time, I would have answered the phone and gotten into trouble. Why didn't the trouble occur? It was because we had already eliminated the evil beings in the other dimensions. When I distributed the materials later, I also encountered situations of being followed or chased; but in all cases, I was able to get away from the danger safely.
In the spring 2002, our Fa-study group still met regularly to share understandings and experiences. One day when I sent forth righteous thoughts, I saw that the whole dimensional field was covered by a dark energy field and I used over an hour to clear it up. That evening, someone came to tell me that I might encounter some danger and asked me to get prepared for it. I moved the Dafa materials and books to a different place. The next day after 8:00 a.m., six out of the eight of us were arrested and sent to a brainwashing center. It turned out that two days earlier, one practitioner had been arrested and sent to a brainwashing center, but we were not aware of the situation. It was this practitioner who had told the police about us. Since then, I started staying away from home in order to avoid arrest and this has been the case to this day.
I have kept clarifying the truth to save sentient beings. I feel that clarifying the truth face-to-face is the most practical and most efficient way, from which I can quickly see the person's attitude towards Dafa, so I can answer his or her questions in time. Wherever I go, I clarify the truth to the people I meet if circumstances allow me to do so. I use the national holidays to go to the countryside to clarify the truth. I tell the goodness about Dafa to my relatives and friends, the elderly, taxi drivers, and students, and the results have been very good.
My sister had suffered from rheumatic heart disease for over thirty years. She later got high blood pressure, and was paralyzed in the lower half of her body. She could not live without taking medicine. She also often needed to be hospitalized, at least five to six times in a year. She could not take care of herself. After I was forced to leave my home, I could no longer prepare injections for her (her husband did not support my cultivation). So I told her to recite "Falun Dafa is good. Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good." I also told her to recite these words with her heart. As a result, a miracle happened: She no longer needs hospitalization or injections and it has been the case for almost three years. She only occasionally takes some medicine, and she can take care of herself.
It is Master's compassion and protection that has made my path of cultivation so smooth that the evil has not been able to hurt me even once to date. Even the leaders in my workplace cannot find me. Every day I follow Master's requirements and do the three things well. I understand that if we are able to diligently do the three things well from our heart, we will be able to walk our cultivation path steadily and gracefully.
