Europe: Practitioners from European Countries Hold Appeals during an EU Meeting (Photos)

( From the 21st to 24th of February 2005, an European Union conference was held in Strasbourg, France to discuss the resolutions of the International Human Rights Convention, which will be held in this March. European Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the EU Congress Hall to stage an anti-torture exhibition and an exercise demonstration to remind the EU and the world that the Chinese Communist regime have not let up in their campaign of genocide against Falun Gong. The number of kidnappings, illegal arrests and practitioners killed in this persecution has increased more quickly in recent times. The methods of persecution are various, brutal and savage. The persecution is spreading to other parts of the world: around the Chinese New Year, many practitioners around the world received phone harassment from the Chinese Communist Party. EU should uphold democracy, freedom and human rights and respond to the persecution.

Slovak Republic: Mayor of the City of Pezinok Attended Falun Gong Appeal to Sign a Petition Calling for an End to the Persecution (Photos)

( Saturday the 26th of February began as a nice, sunny day, and practitioners of Falun Gong visited Pezinok city and held an activity on Radnicne Square to call for public attention to the persecution against Falun Gong, which has continued for almost six years. Documented evidence details the killing of 1,379 practitioners, although Chinese Government estimates put the unofficial figure close to 10,000.

Taiwan Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Anti-Torture Exhibition in Nantou City (Photos)

( Before the February 28 Peace Memorial Day, Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners held an Anti-Torture Exhibition from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Children's Park in Tantou County's Chungxing Community on Feb 27, 2005. County representatives Lin Yonghong, Jian Pailing, and Mayor Li Chaoqing attended the activity and gave speeches denouncing the Chinese Communist Party's inhuman persecution of Falun Gong. Later, the mayor of Chaotun Town also joined the activity and called on the people to speak out with voices of justice.
