1. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Wei Xiuying Tortured to be in Critical Condition
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wei Xiuying from Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province was tortured so severely she is in critical condition at the Baoding City Forced Labor Camp, and is extremely weak.
2. [Beijing] Several Practitioners Arrested
During the afternoon of March 5, 2005, police arrested several Falun Gong practitioners, including Li Yuejin, Gong Chengxi, Zhang Hong, and Wang Kunqi. Their whereabouts are unknown. Police also ransacked Li Yuejin and Wang Kunqi's homes. Wang's father was arrested as well and his whereabouts are unknown. Only Wang's mother was left at home.
3. [Beijing] Police Put Chen Yali into the Haidian District 610 Office Brainwashing Class
At around noon on March 1, 2005, personnel from the Shuangyushu Police Precinct arrested Ms. Chen Yali at her home in the Shuangyushu Area of Beijing's Haidian District. We have since learned that she was put into the Haidian District 610 Office Brainwashing Class on March 2.
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Yali was sentenced to two years of forced labor and spent the time between October 2002 and August 2004 at the Hebei Province Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp. She did not yield to the brutal tortures. After her release in August 2004, police often harassed her at home.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioners Li Xiaoguang and Liu Xiaosong Arrested
In early February 2005, personnel from the Patrolling Police Team of the Jincheng Police Department arrested practitioner Li Xiaoguang as Li was clarifying the truth at the No. 1 District of the China FAW Group Corporation.
On February 2, 2005, police arrested practitioner Liu Xiaosong, an employee of the China FAW Group Corporation, who was living away from home to avoid illegal persecution. Liu is being held at the Tiexi Detention Center.
5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Zhu Fenglan Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Zhu Fenglan, 55, lives at Xinyang Street, Luyuan District, Changchun City, Jilin Province. She was a custodian at the Jialing Super Market. At 11:00 a.m. on March 4, 2005, personnel from the Puyang Street Police Precinct in the Luyuan District arrested her and attempted to force her to write the so-called three statements. Zhu refused. At 4:00 p.m. that same day, Zhu was sent to the Changchun City Daguang Detention Center. On March 6, Zhu's daughter went to the detention center to see her mother, but police denied the visit and ordered her to pay 150 yuan as an "accommodations fee." On March 5, Chen, manager of the market, requested Zhu's release from the police station but the request was denied.

6. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Meng Qingling Suffers Tortures in the Changchun Women's Prison
Practitioner Ms. Meng Qingling is a high school teacher at Lushuihe Town, Fusong County, Jilin Province. In October 2001, personnel from the Fusong County Police Department arrested her and held her for over one year. Meng appealed many times, but all appeals were rejected. They even sentenced Meng to seven years of incarceration with a charge of "hampering the judicial process" and sent her into the Changchun Women's Prison.
Policemen in the prison forced Meng to work during the daytime and take classes at night. Meng refused. She was confined in a solitary compartment for protesting the forced labor. Later, Meng was brutally beaten because she refused to wear a prisoner's uniform and give up her belief. Policemen closely monitored her when her family visited her. Currently, Meng has been transferred to a re-education team. She is extremely weak from the long-term tortures.
7. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] 610 Office Personnel Abduct Wang Yan
On November 29, 2004, local 610 Office personnel arrested practitioner Wang Yan from Tongbai County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, and put Wang into the Tongbai County Detention Center for a month. 610 Office personnel from Nanyang City recently took Wang away, and plan to sentence him.
8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Police Arrest Practitioner Couple Qin Yongjie and Chen Ruiyun
During the evening of March 5, 2005, Ms. Chen Ruiyun, from the Kuiwen District Rixiang Friendship School, was arrested while clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. At 11:30 a.m. on March 6, police broke into Chen Ruiyun's home with a key that they found when they searched her, even though they had no warrant. They arrested her husband Mr. Qin Yongjie and confiscated a computer, printer, VCD player, Falun Dafa books, audio materials and some other personal belongings. Two policemen monitored the practitioners' 16-year-old daughter Qin Xue after arresting her parents. At 12:00 a.m., a friend came to Qin Yongjie's home and asked the police why they arrested the couple and where they were from. Then the police left.
9. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Forced Labor for Practitioners at the Xidayingzi Forced Labor Camp
Authorities from the Xidayingzi Forced Labor Camp in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province forced practitioners to do hard labor. This included practitioners Li Tiezhuang (Lianhe), Liu Xue (Beipiao) Li Jiechun (Qidaoquanzi), Li Donghai (Shengli) and Yu Haibin (Babao Village). The labor was so intensive that some practitioners even vomited blood after three months of the torture.
10. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Sent to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp
On February 3, 2005, Wang Guihua, Wang Shuzhen, Yang Guixiang and Zhang Wenjie from Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province were sent into the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. Wang Guihua was sentenced to three years of forced labor, Wang Shuzhen to two years, and Yang Guixiang and Zhang Wenjie to one year. They currently are being held in the 13th Division (the concentrated training team).
11. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Qu Ying and Qu Shuqin Arrested for Distributing Falun Gong Truth-Clarifying Materials
At 10:00 p.m. on February 27, 2005, Ms. Qu Ying, 30, and Ms. Qu Shuqin, 25, from Muping District, Yantai City, Shandong Province were arrested while distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. They are being held at the Muping Detention Center.
12. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Huang Junwei Arrested for Clarifying the Truth of Falun Gong
Practitioner Mr. Huang Junwei is about 23 years old. He graduated from the Shenzhen Foreign Language Institute. Recently he was arrested while clarifying the truth of Falun Gong at a talents market in Shenzhen City. He is currently being held at the city's detention center.
13. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Zhang Fengying Arrested Again
On March 1, 2005, practitioner Ms. Zhang Fengying from Naziyu Village, Yiyuankou Township, Zhucaoying Town, Funing County, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, was arrested once again.
Shortly after 9:00 a.m. on March 1, 2005, five people from the Qinhuangdao City Police Department, two from the Funing County Police Department and two from the Zhucaoying Police Precinct suddenly broke in and ransacked Zhang Fengying's home. They confiscated many Falun Dafa books, exercise audio tapes, Teacher's lecture audio tapes, Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials and truth-clarifying CDs and a small printer. They took Zhang Fengying, her husband and son to the Funing County Police Department. Her husband and son were released in the afternoon. Police attempted to force Zhang Fengying to tell where she obtained the confiscated items. Because Zhang refused to tell police anything she was held somewhere in Funing County. The following is her story:
Zhang Fengying, 45, started to practice Falun Gong in 1997. She suffered from pulmonary and heart disease before the practice and could not take care of herself. After beginning Falun Gong practice she recovered. After the Jiang regime suppressed Falun Gong in 1999, personnel from Funing County's Zhucaoying Police Precinct, including Pan Weixing and Wang Baohe often harassed her. She was detained four times and fined thousands of yuan. One time she was sent to Tangshan City Kaiping Forced Labor Camp and detained there one year. In order to protest the unlawful detention in the forced labor camp, she held several hunger strikes, and thus her detention term was extended by one month.
14. [Beijing] Wang Lei Suffers Mental Collapse in Police Custody
On November 27, 2004, officers from the Fangshan District Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Lei from Yu'ergou, Liangxiang Village, Fangshan District. He was tortured so badly in the police station that he had a mental collapse the very first day. The police then sent him to a detention center. In this inhumane environment, Wang Lei had several recurrences. The prison doctor didn't send him to a hospital, but ordered several inmates to abuse him. They pinched and beat him. Later Wang Lei was transferred to Beijing's Tianhe Dispatch Center.
Currently Wang Lei cannot take care of himself because of these severe tortures.
15. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Police Arrest Three Falun Dafa Practitioners at a Falun Dafa Materials Production Center
On the evening of March 4, 2005, police arrested practitioners Jiang Lide, Sun Changsheng and another practitioner whose name is unknown. Jiang Lide managed to escape but fractured one of his ankles when jumping. All the equipment at the site was confiscated.
16. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Li Yongjun is Held at Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp
Practitioner Ms. Li Yongjun from Changchun City was sentenced to one year and nine months of forced labor for clarifying the facts of Falun Gong, and was sent to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in August 2004.
Li Yongjun demanded to be released with a cleared name and refused to work as a prisoner. On February 24, 2005, her mother and other family members requested to see her. Personnel at the labor camp refused their request with the excuse that Li Yongjun refuses to work and insists on doing the exercises.

17. [Guangxi Autonomous Region] Yao Wu's Life is in Peril Due to Torture in the the No. 1 Detention Center
Personnel from the No. 1 Forced Labor Camp badly tortured Mr. Yao Wu. His life is now in peril, but the personnel at the labor camp still won't release him.
18. [Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province] Lei Jianli's Persecution Account at the Baima Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Lei Jianli is approximately 28 years old, and was a kindergarten teacher in Zhijiang County, Hunan Province. In 2004, personnel from the Zhijiang County 610 Office and the Political & Judiciary Committee suspected her of distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials, and thus sentenced her to forced labor. She is now being held at the Baima Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City.
Some time ago, Lei Jianli refused to cooperate with police for the so-called "reformation." Policeman Gong Chaolian from No. 7 Division, the Education & Management Section, incited five or six drug addicts to monitor Lei Jianli. They forced her to stand still all day, except while eating and using the toilet, for as long as 14 days. They poured cold water on her and arbitrarily slapped her.
19. [Liaoning Province] Du Jinling and Yu Shiquan Sentenced to 4 and 4.5 Years of Imprisonment
On August 16, 2004, practitioner Ms. Du Jinling was arrested on the street and was sentenced to four years of imprisonment without any due legal process.
In July 2004, practitioner Yu Shiquan was arrested and was sentenced to four and a half years of imprisonment without any due legal process.
Ms. Liu Guiying was arrested in December 2004.
After Du Jinling and Yu Shiquan received the verdict they began an appeal. They are being detained at the Dashagou Detention Center in Qingyuan County, and are currently staging a hunger strike together.
20. [Liaoning Province] Du Jincai Holds Hunger Strike to Protest Illegal Detention
Practitioner Du Jincai has been on a hunger strike for 192 days in the Huludao City Forced Labor Camp, but he is still being illegally detained there. Du Jincai currently is skin and bones from torture.
21. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Xu Baotian Sentenced to Three Years of Forced Labor
On August 20, 2003, personnel from the Taijitun Police Precinct arrested practitioner Xu Baotian and sentenced Xu to three years of forced labor. Xu's first child was forced to discontinue his studies and the second child is also about to quit school because of lack of funds for tuition. In October 2004 Xu Baotian wrote a letter of appeal but the Huludao City Public Prosecutor's Office rejected the letter.
22. [Juancheng City, Shandong Province] Shen Shuge Framed and Sentenced to Ten Months of Forced Labor
Police officer Chen Baodong confiscated practitioner Shen Shuge's personal computer for eight months. Shen requested its return many times but could not get the PC back. On January 13, 2005, policeman Chen Baodong called Shen Shuge and said he would return the PC. But when Shen Shuge went to the police department, police detained her and sent her into the county's detention center. Policemen claimed the PC contained "illegal" material, but the fact is that Shen does not know how to use the PC, which belongs to his/her family. With a trumped-up charge, Shen Shuge was sentenced to ten months of forced labor. On February 21, 2005, police sent Shen to the Jinan City Forced Labor Camp.
Two other Falun Gong practitioners, Li Xiuping and Wu Zhiyong, have been incarcerated at the county's detention center for over one month.
