Ms. Zhang Jingxin, Illegally Detained in the Dabanqiao Female Forced Labor Camp in Yunnan Province, Requests to Be Released with a Verdict of Not Guilty

My name is Zhang Jingxin, and I will be 41 years old this year. I live in Unit 2-903, Fuchun Building #8, Little West Gate, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. On December 3, 2004, I received a "forced labor education" verdict from the "Labor Reeducation Management Committee" in Yunnan City, and I was sentenced to three years of forced labor. I refuse to accept the verdict, and have applied for an administrative reconsideration on these grounds: Both my body and mind have benefited from Falun Dafa, my diseases have been cured, and my moral standards have improved. There is nothing wrong with practicing Falun Dafa, yet I was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center, and during that time I was illegally deprived of my personal freedom. I believe this situation is wholly unjustifiable, and the actions of the responsible officials don't comply with legal procedures, nor do they have any legal basis. I am asking all associated personnel to distinguish clearly the difference between good and evil, impartially enforce the law, and give me a reasonable and just verdict.

Mr. Lu Yongchang's Whole Family was Arrested and is Being Held at the Qingyang Town Police Station in Jiutai City, Jilin Province

Mr. Lu Yongchang's family of four, who live in Qingyang Town in Jiutai City, Jilin Province, all practice Falun Dafa. Mr. Lu Yongchang is 69 years old, his wife Ms. Song Xiuqin is 67 years old, his son Lu Xianjie is 42, and his daughter (or daughter-in-law) Lu Guixia is 32 years old. For the past few years, the local police have been persecuting Mr. Lu's family constantly. On the night before the Mid-autumn Festival in 2002, the police arrested Ms. Lu Guixia at her home and took her to the Qingyang Town Police Station in Jiutai City. The remaining three family members were able to escape with righteous thoughts. The police beat Ms. Lu so brutally that she lost her hearing and her face became deformed. To this day she has yet to recover her hearing. Ms. Lu walked out the police station with righteous thoughts on the evening of her first day there. Before her arrest, the police from the Qingyang town police station often came to harass her. Ms. Song and Ms. Lu had previously been sent illegally to a forced labor camp for a year because they went to Beijing to appeal to the government on behalf of Falun Dafa. After Ms. Lu's family fled, they became homeless in order to avoid being captured and tortured. They took odd jobs to make a living. In 2004, the police in the Fenjing Town Household Area in Kuancheng District in Changchun City arrested Ms. Lu's family of four, and illegally detained them in the Jiutai City Detention Center. They continue to suffer persecution. Mr. Lu Yongchang has been tortured so severely that his health is in critical condition. He has been sent to Changchun City Public Security Hospital for medical treatment.
