1. [Tianjin] Li Shuxian Abducted and Tortured for Clarifying the Truth
On January 14, 2005, local police abducted Falun Dafa practitioner Li Shuxian from Bozhuang Village, Dakoutun Township, Baodi District, Tianjin City, while he was talking to people concerning the truth about Falun Gong at a marketplace. The police also ransacked his house. After enduring four days of torture, Mr. Li cannot speak or walk.
2. [Xuchang, Henan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Peisheng Has Been on a Hunger Strike for 13 Days
Ms. Zhang Peisheng is 40 years old. She was formerly an English teacher at the Xuchang Electronics School. She was sentenced to three years in prison in 2000 for practicing Falun Gong and was jailed at Xinxiang Women's Prison. After she was released, Ms. Zhang continued to clarify the truth and was abducted and taken to the Xuchang City Detention Center by police officers, including Miao Zhongkai, Li Hongwei, Sun Lina, and Wen Jianwei. The police are planning to put her on trial soon. Zhang Peisheng has been on a hunger strike for 13 days so far, to protest her illegal detention.
3. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Li Dongmei Was Abducted and Taken to Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center for the Third Time
Ms. Li Dongmei, a lecturer at the Communist Party School of Gansu Province in Anning District, Lanzhou City, was abducted around 5 p.m. on January 5 by half a dozen police officers led by Yang Yanwen from the Shilidian Police Station. On January 6, many police officers ransacked her home. Ms. Li is now being held at the Yuzhong County Forced Labor Camp for Women.
Authorities from the 610 Office and the school conspired to send Li Dongmei to Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center on two difference occasions. She was also sent to a psychiatric hospital for persecution. In March 2004, Ms. Li was sentenced to serve one and a half years in a forced labor camp. However, she was later put under house arrest because there was no one else to look after her child.

4. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Zhang Baochen Was Sent to a Forced Labor Camp for Clarifying the Truth
Mr. Zhang Baochen, from Kangjia Village, Xinkaihe Township, Taian County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, was abducted for clarifying the truth at Shatuozi Village. He is now being held at the Taian County Forced Labor Camp.
5. [Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Jinyan Sentenced to 2 Years in a Forced Labor Camp
On January 15, 2005, Ms. Yang Jinyan's husband called a fellow practitioner, saying that he had heard from Ms. Yang. It is confirmed that she has been sentenced to 2 years in prison. She is now being held at the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province.
Ms. Yang Jinyan used to have serious sinusitis and early stage cancer. People who walked by her could smell a strong odor coming from her nose. After practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Yang recovered. She often talks to people about the benefits Falun Gong has brought to her, hoping that more people will also benefit from it.
Since the persecution started in 1999, Yang Jinyan has been abducted 6 times for talking to people about Falun Gong. In February 2002, Ms. Yang was held at the Zhongshan City Detention Center for one month. In November 2003, she was held for 2 months at the Sanshui Brainwashing Center in Guangdong Province, where the authorities tried to force her to give up Falun Gong.
Ms. Yang's husband and children do not practice Falun Gong, but they were also implicated. Her husband was suspended from his work and ordered to watch Ms. Yang at home to keep her from going out. Her two children were also harassed. Ms. Yang's phone was tapped and all of her letters going overseas were intercepted.
6. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Falun Dafa Practitioners from Tuanjie Village Were Arrested While Clarifying the Truth.
On January 15, 2005, Ms. Wang Guihua, Ms. Yang Guixiang, Ms. Zhang Wenjie, and Ms. Wang Shuzhen, who are all from Fuguo Village, Tuanjie Township, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province, went to Shuangshan Village in Xingshan Township to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution. They were abducted and jailed at the Shuangcheng City Detention Center. Local practitioners and their relatives are trying to rescue them.
7. [Langfang, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Caixia Abducted by Police and Officials from the 610 Office and Taken to a Brainwashing Center
In mid-December, 2004, local police and officers from the 610 Office abducted Ms. Lu Caixia from Langfang City, Hebei Province, and took her to a brainwashing center (at the Jiaotong Hotel, 4th Floor). She has been on a hunger strike for over a month to protest the illegal detention. When she was jailed at Shenzhen Forced Labor Camp, Ms. Lu had high blood pressure, and was released for medical reasons. She is currently suffering from a reoccurrence of her old illnesses, as a result of having been tortured for over a month by agents of the 610 Office. The 610 Office has tried to block all information about Lu Caixia from getting out.

8. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Fei Jinrong Brutally Tortured at the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp
On December 23, 2004, Dafa practitioner Ms. Fei Jinrong was punished for refusing to wear the prison uniform. She was forced to sit for twenty-four hours with her hands shackled behind her back during the day and in front of her at night. It has been 18 days now. Ms. Fei is a small woman in her fifties, and after having been subjected to this torture, she has become very weak.
The authorities and supervisory personnel at the forced labor camp are well aware of Fei Jinrong's condition. Not only have they ignored it, but they also said she deserves it.

9. [Yinchuang City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Yinchuan Police Abducted Wang Desheng
Mr. Wang Desheng was formerly an employee of the Zhongning Power Plant in the Ningxia Autonomous Region. He started practicing Falun Dafa in 1993. Before the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Mr. Wang was a volunteer assistance center coordinator. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was abducted and sentenced to four years in prison. He was transferred to several different prisons because he refused to give in to the authorities and renounce Falun Dafa. After he was released from prison, Wang Desheng was forced to go to a brainwashing center and at some point he was led astray by the lies of the evil.
When he realized his mistake, Wang Desheng became more diligent in his practice and did a lot of work clarifying the truth. Because of this, he is now a target of the police. On January 6, Mr. Wang went missing and it has been confirmed that he was abducted again by the authorities.
10. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Fang Yongzhen has Become Bedridden as A Result of Torture
The local 610 Office has detained Falun Gong practitioners Ms.Yu Guifen, Ms. Fang Yongzhen, Ms. Wei Fenglan, Ms. Jin Ruihong, and Ms. Zhang Xiuqi for a long time. The practitioners went on a hunger strike in protest. The police refused to listen to the complaints of the practitioners, and instead, they force-fed them with salt water. Ms. Fang Yongzhen has now become bedridden and cannot eat. Her body is numb and she has high blood pressure. She is suffering from excruciating pain.
On November 26, 2004, Ms. Fang Yongzhen and the other practitioners were sent to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp for the second time. They were, however, refused admission. The practitioners are currently being held at the detention center.
11. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Li Guijie Jailed Beyond Her Term at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Li Guijie, who is 42 years old, is a former employee of the Tianyuan Company of Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. On December 18, 2001, she was sentenced to three years in prison. Although her term is up, the camp has refused to release her because she refuses to renounce Falun Gong. Ms. Li's term has been illegally extended for three more months.
12. [Chongqing City, Sichuan Province] Sisters Xiao Yixiu and Xiao Yizhen Sentenced to 3 Years for Talking to People about Falun Gong
In March 2003, Ms. Xiao Yixiu and Ms. Xiao Yizhen went to Shipan Village, Wusheng County to talk to people about the truth concerning Falun Gong. Police from Sanxi Village, Wusheng County abducted them. The police interrogated them at Sanxi Village. They were beaten black and blue and their hands were shackled behind their backs. The sisters were then sent to the Wusheng Detention Center. At the end of August 2003, they were sentenced to 3 years' imprisonment. In November, Xiao Yixiu and Xioa Yizhen were sent to serve their sentences at the Jianyang Prison for Women.

13. [Tianjin] Several Tianjin Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted
Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Hong, who graduated from Tianjin University with a Bachelor's Degree, suffered tremendously at Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp, Tianjin City. When he was released in 2004, he was dismissed by Tianjin University. In November 2004, Mr. Yang was detained and sentenced again.
Practitioner Mr. Wang Shiyuan, having undergone torture at the Tianjin City Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp, was released after going on a hunger strike. His employer then dismissed him. After he was sent back to Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, his hometown, someone tipped off the police and he was abducted again.
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Guo Deyou, almost 70 years old, lives in Hexi District, Tianjin City. In 2000, Mr.Guo Deyou was sentenced to a forced labor camp. After he was released on bail for medical reasons, he was abducted again in 2004. His wife and daughter, both practitioners, have also served time at the forced labor camp. His wife is currently being held at the Tianjin Women's Prison.
