Facts of the Persecution

1. Falun Gong practitioner from Qingzhou City, Shandong Province, tells how officials repeatedly beat him

I was born in Qingzhou City, Shandong Province. A few days after Jiang Zemin began persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Liu Songde arrested me and sent me to the town government building. Many members of the authorities beat me. In early May of 2000, my wife, Li Xiuqin, also a Falun Gong practitioner, and I went to an experience sharing at another practitioner's home. Local police arrested us and took us to the town government building. There, they persecuted me relentlessly. They beat me with fists and feet, rubber hoses and wooden shafts. They handcuffed me, tied me up, inserted lit cigarettes in my nose, force-fed me liquor and did not allow me to sleep. They beat me until my entire body was black and blue.

At the beginning of October in 2001, Qin Huajun led more than ten people to my village and again abducted me to the town government building. Zhong Anxin and Ji Fu instructed others to beat us repeatedly with wooden clubs and rubber hoses. They beat us until we were bruised all over. We were in great pain and could hardly move. At night, Zhong Anxin again instructed others to beat us mercilessly. Zhong Anxin purposely hit my ankle using a wooden club.

In August 2002, Ji Fu led a group of more than ten people to my home and abducted us to the town government building. They beat me brutally using iron chains. Soon after, they kidnapped practitioner Li Wenshu, who was then brutally beaten.

2. Xue Yujun's wife, from Mengyin County, Shandong Province, describes the persecution she suffered

On February 25, 2004, at 7:20 p.m., more than 20 perpetrators broke into my home and abducted me. They pushed me to the ground and viciously kicked me. My back did not have any feeling for more than two months. My son was traumatized by this incident. In addition, they took our quilts away, and my son became ill from the cold. He recovered only after several days of medication.

They took me to a brainwashing center run by the county 610 Office. There, they ruthlessly beat me and forced me to sit on an icy cold cement floor in thin clothes or my underwear for long periods of time. They slapped my face, kicked my head and legs with leather boots, relentlessly stomped my feet with their heels and did not allow me to sleep. On the day I was released, they secretly sent my husband XueYujun to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City, Shandong Province.

3. The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Heishan County, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province

On July 21, 2004, Qian Guomin and others from the local police station of Fangshan Town, Heishan County, Liaoning Province, abducted practitioner Ms. Wang Lirong of Luotai Village, Fangshan Town, and ransacked her home. Two days later, they abducted Ms. Zheng Liping of Guotun Village, Fangshan Town, without even an excuse.

On September 3, 2004, Fangshan Town Police Director Li Fuhua led police officers Qian Guomin, Jiang Jun and others to Guo Zhongmin's home and abducted him, later sending him to the Heishan County Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Lihua of Lanni Village, Taihe Town, Heishan County, was abducted from her home on the morning of August 5, 2004, and imprisoned in the Heishan County Detention Center.

On the afternoon of September 6, 2004, Bi Shijun of the National Security Unit of Heishan County and Zhang Ziquan of the local Taihe County Police Station and others went to Shengli High School and arrested Liu Baochen, a practitioner who taught there.

At 9 a.m. on September 16, 2004, Zhang Ziquan of the Taihe Town Police Station, his driver Xu Shuhua, police officer Wang Fei and others abducted Ms. Li Yulan of Baotun Village from her home and took her to the police station. At 11 a.m., they also arrested Ms. Shi Qingyun. That afternoon, the police levied criminal charges against the two practitioners and sent them to the Heishan County Detention Center.

In mid-September 2004, practitioner Ms. Yang Mingyue of Heishan Town was abducted from her home, which was then ransacked. On September 27, 2004, the policemen at Heishan County Police Department sent Ms. Li Yulan, Ms. Shi Qingyun and Ms. Yang Mingyue to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City.

4. Please help rescue practitioner Ms. Lin Ping, imprisoned at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Lin Ping, 58, was arrested by the police in 2000 and was imprisoned in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for one year. Because she suffered from hypertension, a brain tumor and other ailments, they released her on bail for medical treatment. In July 2001, the authorities arrested her again and sentenced her to three years in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, although her prison term was extended. She has been hung by handcuffs, tied to a pillar outside during freezing weather, forced to stand all day, and not allowed to sleep at night. At the end of 2003, she was brutally tortured and had bruises all over her body. Afterwards, her prison term was again extended to March 3, 2005.

5. The persecution of practitioners in Jing County, Hebei Province

Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Cui Yongfen, Ms. Wang Hongrui (at least 60 years old), Ms. Wang Hongquan (also over age 60), Wang Zangyan, Ms. Feng Jinfen, Ms. Zhao Guihua, Ms. Ma Lizhi and others were illegally imprisoned, fined and persecuted in other ways. Among them, Ms. Ma Lizhi had gone to Beijing to appeal for fair treatment of Falun Gong practitioners in November 2000 and was subsequently imprisoned at the Forced Labor Camp of Shijiazhuang City for two years. During her imprisonment, the police tortured her. They tied her with rope, shocked her with an electric stun gun and beat her with a rubber club. Her buttocks were beaten so severely that they became hard, black lumps. They also suspended her without letting her feet touch the floor. The police were trying to force her to give up Falun Gong.
